    Pre-owned F150 Purchase

    Purchased a used F150 without visiting the dealership. Brandon did a great job communicating and answering questions. Additional photos and videos were requested and provided in a short period of time. Everything was completed remotely until we met at a half way point (3 1/2 hrs for each) to close. The truck is super clean and looked better than expected. I would not hesitate working with Brandon and Uftring in the future.

    I’ll start out by saying that I would give zero stars if I could. Shopping for a new rim, naturally I inquired at the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. The first person I spoke to on the phone was short and did not want to work with me on price. The second person I spoke with on the phone, after shopping around, clearly wanted to make a sale and offered me considerably less. I should realized at that point that something wasn’t right. The second representative was able to give me the rim for 200 less; for the EXACT same brand/model than the first employee I spoke with. Keep in mind that was without ANY haggling or trying to negotiate with them. After the rim was replaced and the service was “complete” I had, what I assumed was, the shop “manager” and the representative come to me. They proceeded to tell me that my tire air pressure sensor was bad on that tire and it needed to be replaced. Prior to coming into the dealership; I had that exact tire AND a brand new sensor put on at Firestone in Pekin less than a week before. I told the gentlemen this and I requested the sensor be PUT BACK ON the tire and stated I would take it back to Firestone because I had a warranty. I get into my car to leave the dealership; the sensor was sitting in my cup holder... Needless to say; I went back to Firestone. They tested the sensor and put it back on for me. There was ZERO issue with the air pressure sensor. Uftring in North Pekin tried to HUSTLE me and failed to put the sensor back on so that I would not notice until I went to Firestone. I will never return to ANY Uftring dealership with any of my vehicle needs.

    A few months ago we purchased a Chrysler Town & Country through Uftring in North Pekin. Negotiations were done primarily through email with the sales manager and it was extremely easy to come to an agreed upon price (which was a couple thousand less than I was expecting to pay). Determining a price for my trade was just as easy. I reccomend them every chance I get and would definitely buy from them again if I'm in the market for Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicle. Only part that wasn't great was the hard sell from the finance manager on the extended warranties and fabric and paint protection. A few of his tactics were questionable. Ultimately they got us a rate of 1.59% vs. the 1.99% we were going to pay through our credit union so even that worked out well in the end. Ah... I'm also not thrilled about the fact I can't schedule an oil change. I've been able to do that everywhere else I go. I prefer to have my maintenance done at the dealership where I buy the vehicle. The one time I've gone so far they got me right in. But it's out of the way and I'd hate to drive all that way to find out they're too busy to get to it or that I have to wait an extended period of time. First time that happens I guess they'll lose my business to the Walmart that's 5 minutes from my house.
