Sold vehicle out from under me
by Larry and maranda from Milwaukee | March 25, 2021I negotiated a deal online for a vehicle, drove an hour and forty five minutes the next day to get it. Upon arrival, I find another customer purchasing the vehicle I negotiated for buying it. Their response was they are sorry. UNBELIEVABLE! SORRY DOES NOT CUT IT. Waisted my whole day for nothing.

by JT from Chicago, IL | July 02, 2020I drove 2 hours to see a car that I had discussed at length with a salesperson. When I arrived the car had 36K miles, not 25K as was listed. The sticker on the car was $28,000 as was the listing. However when I arrived the price had changed to $29,000. Was this a just a mistake or is this how business is done here? I can't say but this was my experience.

by Robert Farmer from West bend | May 20, 2020I have not used this dealership for repairs in over 15 years, thought I would give them a shot at something simple. I have owned a dodge for 17 years and this time I was in a pinch to get my trailer tow lights repaired. I had to ride my bike across town to get back home after dropping the durango off at the dealership. After picking up my vehicle for a oil change and they replaced the receptacle for the trailer tow lights. I read the receipt and it said all was good and tested. Well good thing I checked before I went on the road with my boat trailer. I confirmed my trailer lights worked on the trailer with another vehicle. Timing , honestly, trust is all important to me. There was a reason I did not like there service along time ago but I thought things may have changed. So after 300 dollars for oil and a new receptacle I decided not to give them a second chance. It should be a simple fix and if I had the wiring diagram which I could not find any where online I could pin point it myself. How hard is it to finish what they thought was the receptacle and test the lights?

Sales man told my significant other to go sit in the car as he was asking questions about the vehicle they were try to "better my deal". And the cash down check was cashed without purschasing a vehicle. Now having to wait a day before getting the money back. Worst experience ever! Will never return!

They went above and beyond to find us a vehicle from another dealer after the car we selected was sold the same day. The unpleasant part was working with the finance guy, who overall seemed like a nice guy, but was unrelenting, almost obnoxious on pushing for the service contracts, after multiple "no's". My wife and I were being patient and considerate, but it did leave a bad taste, on what was a pretty positive experience. Ashley was also very helpful and prompt communicating and Justin was always proffesional. We would return, but not put up with the stuff outlined above.

During the negotiation process, the sales person and used car manager tried to tell us that it was NOT a certified vehicle. It was or so it said on the website when looking at certified inventory. The process was very long, manager kept repeating the extras or add ons which I did not want. Very pushy and when the check engine light came on 10 hours after leaving the dealership, I called and there was absolutely nothing they were willing do for me. I ended up taking it to another dealership, I was very disappointed in Russ Darrow customer service. Looking back I should have walked away from this dealership. Never going to a Russ Darrow again.

She failed to professionally handle the customers concerns in an adult and appropriate manner. Her appearance and demeanor was less than appealing while dealing with customers. When the customer addressed their concerns towards Amanda, she failed to make eye contact or even render a response towards the customers concerns and failed to attempt to calm the customer down. Service techs cross threaded lug nuts after failing to hand thread on lugs first then failed to tighten all lug nuts after a rotation. I discovered two un tightened lugs upon arriving home, after driving my child 10 miles in this vehicle at freeway speeds. The remaining lugs were found to be at less than torque recommendations. This low standard of service is unsatisfactory and un safe. Justin in service has always been professional and courteous.
