THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET
by Sara from Albuquerque NM | May 30, 2021

I went to purchase a vehicle on 05/22/2021, my husband was sold a on 2018 Nissan Altima SL, and I have to say that this has been the worst of car buying experiences of I've ever had in my entire life. The salesman we worked with was Anthony Salazar, who was very unprofessional cussing the entire time we needed to discuss a deal, and coughing all over the place without covering his mouth so disturbing no consideration to even wear a mask knowing he was still sick. That same day we left the dealership and we left with the car, thinking that the bank was going to keep the $426.00 price they quoted us originally when we were together on the loan. That same day I went back to the dealership and took myself off the loan due to marital issues I was having with my husband, they re-signed my husband again on the loan this time by himself. We waited a couple days and they told us that we needed to provide proof of income which we did, there were only 6 documents that showed a deposit in our joint account and 2 documents showing the money being transferred to my account (Even though my husband and I share an account) I do not understand what the problem was. Every time we stepped away and came back the finance guy Mauricio he would change the price of the car. So, we went back today 05/30/2021 thinking we would be leaving with the car we wanted but instead left with the car we brought in originally to trade in which was a 2019 Dodge Journey, found out later after taking our car back they incorrectly marked my husband’s car as a 2016 when it was a 2019 and that is very concerning to us and it's just wrong. I have the tag still on the car, I will never recommend this dealership to anyone, and I want someone from the cooperate office to contact me so I can explain in better detail what happened, everything about their business practice was shady and someone needs to be aware of what's going on. Today when we went back into Mauricio's office after picking up some lunch and he says that his first price after the bank approved us both was $440.00 my husband and I stepped away for a sec with me and the price change to $443.00 and I told him like I told several others that the reason we came in to the dealership originally was to lower our car payment from $429.52 to something cheaper!!!!!!!!!! then what we were quoted. In the end the price increased and did not go down at all. I was in Mauricio's office in tears, my blood pressure was elevated and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Later this same day I sent Anthony a picture of the paper we have on the 2019 Dodge Journey and his response was "Sara, I've tried to remain professional but this is becoming absurd....nobody lied to you about anything so please kindly delete my number and discontinue contact" the customer service here is a joke. If I could I would give this place 0 stars because that is what every single employee in that place is worth, everyone acts like business is a game when it's not.

Scam Artists - Constantly Changing The Deal
by jack roman from Phoenix | February 24, 2021

I tried to purchase a truck listed in the onine posting. When requesting pictures it took Vicente a few days and I kept getting the run-around. Eventually, he sent me a link to a listing with a video and the truck was relisted for $1,000 more! When confronted he stated that he knew nothing about it but would honor the original price (he amazingly seemed to know what the original price was). He then sent me a sheet with additional junk fees. Again, we discussed it and after "talking with his manager" he finally got them removed. Now the problem was that they were charging tax on the entire amount even though I was trading in a vehicle. They claimed not to know about trade-in tax credit which means they were just flat out lying and trying to cheat me out of a few thousand dollars. Again, he had to "review with his manager" and at this point I realized that they were pretty much going to do everything possible to try to cheat me on this deal. On the next go around the vehicle I was looking at was now sold but Vicente would be glad to help me get a new one if I wanted. At this point it became obvious that this dealership would pretty much lie, cheat and do anything possible to scam me out of a few hundred or thousand dollars. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealer and going pretty much anywhere else.

    Poor service
by Kuan from Sandia Park | September 03, 2020

The seatbelts in my Nissan Frontier are wearing prematurely. The truck is only 4 years old with 80,000 miles. My Honda, which is 15 years and nearly 300,000 miles doesn't have a trace of fraying, but the seatbelts in the Frontier are so badly frayed that the seatbelts are actually partially severed between 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through. I made an appointment with Reliable because my family has had poor experiences with the other Nissan dealer in Albuquerque. The appointment was made days in advance, so they knew when I was coming and what I needed. The seatbelts are still under warranty. When I arrived, I decided to ask them for a price on copies of the key. They quoted me an amazing price of only $50/key. A local locksmith wanted $90/key for an aftermarket and I've never gotten a transponder key for less than $200/key so I was quite impressed. I told them to go ahead and add 4 key copies to my service. I was also impressed because the service advisor came over to let me know the status of my truck every half hour and that they were still working on it. Everything started to go downhill about two hours in. I was starting to think they must be almost done. After all, each seatbelt is only 1-3 bolts times 4 seatbelts so two hours should be plenty. Instead the service advisor came to let me know that the technician they had wasn't qualified to work on my problem. They had to have a master tech work on the problem and they were waiting for him to arrive. Why did they schedule my appointment for a time when they had no technicians qualified to work on my problem? It turned out they weren't almost finished, they hadn't even started yet. Another half hour in I was informed that they didn't have the parts for my truck. They only had aftermarkets and couldn't perform warranty work using aftermarket parts. Another half hour went by and then I was informed that the damage to my seatbelts was cosmetic, and therefore they would have to consult with Nissan to see if they wanted to honor the warranty. I told them that being severed halfway though the seatbelt due to fraying is not cosmetic; that it affects the safety and functioning of the restraint system, but they weren't interested in what I had to say. They said they would take pictures of the seatbelts and send them to Nissan to see if they wanted to honor the warranty. It was still yet another hour before I got my truck back with the four keys. Apparently that's how long it takes to take pictures of the seatbelts. I meant to check my new keys before I left the dealership, but I got distracted as I got in and forgot to do so. Sure enough, when I got home, I discovered that not one of the keys worked. All told, I spent 4 hours at the dealership so that they could give me four keys that don't work, and take pictures of my seatbelt. Again, I got an excellent price on the keys, and I can go back to get them fixed, but all told for an overall experience it was pretty poor. I'll update this review to let you know if they honor their warranty or if I'm forced to send them a demand letter for it. Update - I was told that that they would have an answer on Tuesday. On Tuesday, they said they would have an answer on Wednesday. On Wednesday they said they didn't know when they would have an answer. I had to badger them to go find out when the answer will come. Now they are saying they will call me back to let me know when they will have an answer.

    Unethical and discrimination
by Brandon from finance from Albuquerque, NM | June 26, 2020

THE WORST AND UNETHICAL CAR DEALERSHIP I HAD EVER DEALT WITH. THEY SOLD A MAXIMA TO A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE BY 12K DOLLARS AND WHEN I COMES IN WITH THEM TO SEE IF THE DEALERSHIP WILLING TO WORK WITH THEM ON LOWERING THE PRICE, THE MANAGER WERE RUDE AND BASICALLY KICKED ME OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR CONVERSATION WHEN I MENTION "OVERPRICED" AND THINKING OF SEEKING A "LAWYER" TO LOOK AT THE CONTRACT. THEY CALLED BACK 2 DAYS LATER AND ASK IF WE COULD COME BACK IN TO WORK WITH US? WE SHOWED UP THINKING THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND?. THEY OFFERED THE FAMILY A LOWER PERCENT INTEREST RATE FROM (11-6 PERCENTS) AND SHE ACCEPTED THE TERM. WHEN SHE SIMPLY ASKED IF THE FINANCIAL MANAGER (BRANDON) IF HE ABLE TO REMOVE THE EXTRA WARRANTY ($3500) TO SAVE SOME MONEY, WITHOUT HESITATION HE KICKED US OUT AND REFUSED TO WORK WITH US. HE ALSO CALLED US "NASTY". I'M NOT SURE WHY HE USE THAT TERM, WE WAS BEING PROFESSIONAL AND WAS SIMPLY ASKING A QUESTION. WE FEEL DISCRIMINATED BY HIS WORD AND ACTION TOWARD US. FYI, THEY SOLD A MAXIMA PLATINUM TO A 17 YEARS OLD GIRL AND FALSIFIED THE APPLICATION TO GET THEM INTO A VEHICLE THEY CANNOT AFFORD! IN ADDITION THE PUSHY CAR SALESMAN THEY PRESSURED THEM ON THE SALE ALONG WITH THE WARRANTY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A NON ENGLISH SPEAKING FAMILY. THIS IS ALL ILLEGAL. WE WILL AND ALREADY REACHED OUT TO AN ATTORNEY OFFICE AND WILL SEEK LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS DEALERSHIP AND THE MANAGERS WHOSE WAS HOSTILE TOWARDS US. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU DO THE SAME. THEY ARE UNETHICAL.

    Worst Dealership Ever!
by All of them were awful from Albuquerque, NM | June 07, 2019

I COULDNT AGREE MORE WITH THE REVIEW GIVEN BY MANNY. THIS IS EXBy FAR the worst dealership I have ever dealt with and I would have to say the worst in Albuquerque. Look at your contract closely! They add on crap to the original price of the vehicle not to mention needless warrenties they shove at you. RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and the finance manager is a joke! They don't return phone calls or messages. The first day we spent 7 hours there, second day back to sign papers and spent another 8 hours there. Went back today and told them to keep their car! NEVER, EVER, EVER will I recommend this place to anyone. Much better, friendlier car dealerships else where. Bunch of xxxxxxxx scammers! BEWARE! Very weird how they only have good reviews, which leads me to believe the negative reviews get deleted! While we were there another couple walked out unsatisfied with their lack of professionalism.

    Worst Experience Ever!!
by Manny from Albuquerque, NM | June 03, 2019

I bought my first car from Reliable Nissan and it was by far the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I left the lot crying, twice! I went in on a Sunday, just to look but of course they suckered me into going in and we talked numbers. I told them my price range and everything seemed to be going well. While I was filling out my finance paperwork, I was advised by Brandon P to lie about my income and other information. Due to it being Sunday and the banks were closed, I had to go back Monday to "seal the deal." I returned Monday and their attitudes changed from super nice and friendly, to completely rude. I waited about 2 hours for them to even take me to the back. I looked at the paper work and a lot of things were changed. My car payment went up $200! They also added a bunch of things without my permission. It was very sketchy. I did not sign anything this day. After confronting Brandon about the changes, he brought in Manny, the "finance manager." Manny was very unprofessional and rude. He came in the office and was not open to listen to anything I had to say. An argument began to happen and at that point, I decided I didn't want the car anymore. I handed him the car keys and Manny told me, "It's too late, you already signed!" Which I did not! We got up and walked outside and Manny chased my family and I outside, screaming "if you leave this car here I will have it towed to your house and make sure you get the bill for it." (I have this all on video by the way) I left crying, and my family and I had to Uber home. Two weeks go by and I receive a billing statement in the mail. How did they manage to "seal the deal" without any of my signatures? I have no idea. I went back to the dealership to pick up the car and they had the car salesman, Jeremy, hand me the keys. Manny saw me and he just smirked at me. Out of this whole experience, Jeremy was the most helpful and professional employee we came across. Super friendly! Great salesmen. If he moved to a different dealership, I would definitely recommend him. I ended up stuck with the car and the car payment. I definitely do NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.

    Horrible service Department
by Dawn Valencia from ALBUQUERQUE | May 06, 2019

DO NOT LET THEM SERVICE YOUR CAR! Bought a brand new 2018 Rogue in November. In late March my Nissan Connect stereo system started malfunctioning. I called Reliable Nissan Service Dept to have them take a look. I also told them their Zaktek coating was making my car look like there are scratches all over my car if it gets the tiniest amount if dirt on it. They made an appt to service my car on 04/03/19. After a few hours they called and said my stereo was defective and needed to be replaced and the Zactek coating needed to be removed and reapplied. Unfortunately the stereo had to be ordered and was on back order. I picked up my vehicle and was advised they would call when stereo came in. A few days later I noticed there were two big scratches on my instrument panel, called and let them know and they said they would address it when my stereo came in. They called on the 19th to say stereo was in and to bring my car in to replace it. I was told my car would be ready on April 20th. Received call stating that they had to call in a "master technician" and it wouldn't be ready till April 22nd and new instrument panel needed to be ordered. Picked up car on 22nd and there were white sticky fingerprints all over my dash and console Was advised they would call on that following Wednesday or Thursday to schedule install and they would have my car detailed. Did not receive a call. Finally received a call that Friday and schedule to replace panel that following Monday. Received call that afternoon that they had damaged my steering column while replacing instrument display and would need to keep my car till Wednesday morning. I finally called Wednesday afternoon to see why I had not been called to pick up my car and was told the part came in Tuesday afternoon but no one had worked on it and I would have to pick it up Thursday! I finally snapped and filed a complaint with Nissan headquarters. Was assured by Reliable GM that the work would be done by Thursday morning and car would be detailed. Picked up my car and it looked like they wiped my car down with a filthy rag! Snapped again and some other manager condecendingly advised me they could keep my car ANOTHER day to have it detailed! I advised him they will never touch my car again! After them having my car 3 times in one month I have 2 replacement parts on a 4 month old car! Taking my business to MELLOY NISSAN all the way across town. If you don't want your BRAND NEW car damaged repeatedly stay FAR AWAY from this place.
