    Interest on Warranty Cancellation

    I purchased my car in April 2018. The finance guy tried to force me to take the extended warranty. I kept telling him I didn’t want it so he finally allowed me to sign a cancellation on the warranty. Unfortunately 2 years and 5 months later I discovered that it is still on the loan I am paying. I went to McLarty Toyota and spoke with them about it and was told the company my loan is with will receive a check in 6 to 8 weeks for the warranty. I asked them what they were going to do about the interest I have been paying on that money and was told there was nothing they could do. He did give me the general managers number and I have left him two messages that have gone unanswered. I don’t know why it takes them 6 to 8 weeks to send a check so now that is even more interest I am stuck paying that I should not be responsible for since I have a signed and dated cancellation.

    Disrespectful agent and unprofessional dealership!

    They are not reliable-stay away... I made an appointment yesterday to check out the 2020 Toyota RAV4 today. Okay, great... We went there on time, the "lady" at the front desk checked us in with her great "attitude". The person who was supposed help was out for lunch-OK. They found someone else to help us which took about 10 mins-alright. We told the person what we are looking for, he rushed us to take a look at the cars. However, no information was provided regarding the milage for the used cars, or what so ever. He rushed us again to talk about the price. Here we go... He asked for my car key to get a trade-in estimate. At the moment I had a paper indicating a trade-in price from another dealership on the driver seat. He came back and said "we found out you guys went to X dealership and got $YY offer as a trade-in value. we are offering you more." I said OK expecting to have about $1000 more on the price. He just gives us extra $100 bucks! He did not even bother himself to give my car key back. I asked him "did you see the paper on the seat? he said "NO." What a lie! Yes, we went to another dealer, but they offered way more than what they list on that paper. After catching him lying to us, we asked to get the price for the car we interested in. He brought us the paper which only has numbers (total and monthly payment) without the APR rate etc. He did not even talk about options or what so over. Obviously, we had some questions regarding how they came up with this numbers. While we try to calculate the APR, he was looking out the window. We immediately left the shop after confronting him about his behaviour. Let's make this right; you are the seller, I am the buyer. If you do not need to sell, I DEFINITELY DO NOT NEED YOUR BUSINESS. If you want to be disrespected, go ahead and make a stop. This is not a type of dealership you want to buy a car. They do not respect their business, so do not expect them to respect you! Be told-they are RUDE and UNETHICAL...

    Sold a bad story and an even worse vehicle

    I flew to Little Rock to purchase a 1997 4runner. Latrez was excellent at aiding in the buying experience and helping work with outside financing. Other than that, I regret the purchase. The vehicle was said to have belonged to the finance manager and I was fed 5 different stories about why he was selling it. I trusted that the finance manager wouldn't sell a heap through his dealership. I was wrong. The wheel wells were held together with zip ties, and the vehicle was spray-painted on the fender flares to look like there was no damage. After 2 weeks of owning it, the paint chipped off. Further, the dealership didn't bother to change the oil. When I took the car to my local oil and lube shop, they said that the oil filter looked like it never been changed (on a 22 year old car) and that the oil was dark and sludgy. Additionally, the alignment was off and there was about 40 pounds of mud that was caked to the bottom of the engine and front suspension. Lastly, the brake booster went out 2 months of ownership due to a bad master cylinder. Collectively, all repairs have cost me over $2,500. Don't buy from these people! I can't believe the finance manager still has a job if he regularly uses the dealership to sell poorly-maintained personal vehicles. It gives the dealership a bad name.

    Lack of any Integrity

    Worst experience at a dealership in 30 years. We throughly regret our decision to do business with this organization I hope this detailed review leads people to ANY other dealership for purchases or service. During the purchase process, the finance guy, Phillip Moore, pitched the upgraded services which included an extended warranty. I expressed my concerns due to a previous bad experience with a non-OEM warranty similar to what he was offering. He assured me the company paid claims. We explicitly discussed that the vehicle had a lift and his response was that all OEM parts are covered The day we brought the vehicle home there were severe issues with the front end. The dealership made an attempt to fix it but suggested we go to a specialty shop due to the lift. I requested a copy of the estimate which listed all the OEM parts with the exception of one item. I told them to proceed. After I sent the $2,400 invoice in to the warranty company, I followed up on reimbursement a couple of weeks later. To my surprise, they would not cover ANYTHING due to their being a lift kit as we should have purchased some optional coverage. I went to the dealership the next Saturday which was back in July. Phillip admittedly did not know about the coverage requirement but would look into it After a week of no contact, I finally got him on the phone. However he would not offer me any option which addressed the issue and refunded my money. He was to get with his boss and call me back Several unreturned phone calls later , I go to the dealership to chase him down. He said Tom LEWIS, the General manager, was to of called me back. I instructed him to get Tom Lewis so I could speak with him Over 1.5 hours later and multiple requests to meet Tom Lewis he finally comes out of his office. I asked why he hadn’t called and he insisted he returned all calls and was unaware of my situation. After much discussion he agreed to look into the matter and contact me the following week Thus far I’ve left him three messages and have not had any contact with Tom. It’s become clear that everyone at the dealership lacks a basic sense of integrity, professionalism and any other positive attribute.

    I've purchashed at least 5 Toyotas from this dealership. They have always been fair. I would not consider buying a Toyota from anyone else. Larry Parks and his staff are excellent!

    Terrible Service Departmnet

    Went in for an oil change. Dropped off the keys on a good key chain. Key chain was returned all bent out of shape. No explanation, no offer to replace. Won't be going back.

    Oil change

    Went in for a oil change. Come out driver door scratched. Went to body shop several times more damage. No one can give me Mark mclarty.number

    Very happy

    We worked with Zach Walker to buy a 2017 Toyota Highlander. We were pleasantly surprised when we drove on the lot and chose the car we wanted within 5 minutes. Talking about a deal took 10 minutes. There was no back and forth on prices. They gave me their lowest price immediately and we drove off in a new car that my wife loves. These guys treat you with respect and you feel like they are not wasting your time. We had a great experience buying our first car!
