    Unbelievably Bad

    Met on lot by inexperienced sales rep. We asked repeatedly about specific cars seen online (we had VIN #'s) and were never shown those vehicles. Instead we were pulled in all directions toward much more expensive vehicles. We finally insisted on time to explore on our own. We found the vehicles featured online by VIN # and they were all priced $10K more than the online offers. When we asked about this, sales rep played dumb. Finally, a car alarm went off and the sales rep abandoned us to get away from the noise. We decided to leave...sales rep raced out to hand us his card. Seriously? Yeah, NEVER!!!!

    They’re really good at making it seem like they’re helping and being “transparent” but just like every other shady dealership, they managed to sneak in something that I didn’t want to pay for, and they told me that I could not take off no matter what, that it already came with the vehicle price... in THAT case, you should probably make sure that the online price reflect the add ons you’re forcing your customer to buy. If we weren’t just so ready to be done with this process we would’ve ended everything. But thank you for taking advantage of our situation and our honesty, we will never recommend anyone nor be back to this dealership. Also, the manager told me he’d “call me Monday regarding my experience” this was from Wade. No phone call. Shifty people that only care about closing the sale here.

    2021 Honda Accord EXL Hybrid

    Bell Honda has a unique business model based on my buying experience over a 45 year period. It's simply, earn the trust of your customer and the product will sell itself. That was true in our case. The entire sales process through delivery were nothing short of extraordinary. This is primarily due to Jason Johnson (aka JJ). From start to finish, JJ was polite, respectful and very knowledgeable. The car we were interested in was prepped and waiting for us when we arrived. The test drives were actually fun experiences and he must have answered 100 questions from us. BUT he was so pleasant to work with and never once said "what do I have to do to earn your business". His actions and demeanor are what earned our business. It takes time to purchase a car and he was respectful of the time we needed to make the decision. Prices and trade in value were fair and reasonable and beat the other four dealerships we visited. My wife said of JJ after the sales process was completed "can we take JJ home with us". He earned that distinction through politeness, patience and respect and through his knowledge of the vehicle we purchased.

    Not a good experience

    Overall communication seems good up front but when I went to visit the dealership, it took a while to find someone to help, even with having an appointment set up for one of three sales team members. I drove over an hour to see a vehicle that on the lot. The sales team sent me videos and pictures, as well as describing the vehicle's condition. However, when we arrived at the dealership, the care was in bad shape, and the sales team never mentioned any of the defects of the car. I would have appreciated an honest assessment of the car before diving two hours round trip. The car was very dirty, had lots of dents and chips, none of which were mentioned beforehand. Additionally, the gas gauge was at zero, and I did not feel comfortable even test driving the vehicle, especially after the poor condition it was in. Overall, this experience has kept me from considering this dealership in the future, and also exemplifies the reputation that car dealerships have. I wish I could find just one dealership that would treat someone fairly. Bell Honda has made me nearly stop searching for cars at local dealerships, and will instead be taking my business to an online retailer.

    Bad Experience

    In June of 2020 I bought a new Honda Civic. The salesman Jeremy was polite and knowledgeable. He was an ex-manager of the dealership. I wanted an interior rear view mirror that had the capabilities of programming my garage door opener. Jeremy told us that we would have to get an upgraded model that cost $1200 more. We agreed to the price and bought the car. Upon taking the car home and looking at the manual I couldn't find where to program my garage door opener. I went back to the dealership spoke to Jeremy and he told me I can purchase one for about $500.00 in the parts department. Little I did know this information was incorrect. The parts department informed me there is no such mirror to purchase.We never would have purchased the car if we knew the interior mirror didn't have the capability of programming the garage door. I complained to the head manager in the sales department a few times. His response was he had a strong talk with Jeremy. I asked him if there was anything he could do for me and he flat said NO. I signed a contract. Little did I know this item was not included in the upgrade. I also complained to Honda Corp and after a 25 minute wait on the phone they took my complaint and the only thing they do is send the complaint back to the dealership. BELL HONDA ARE MASTER DECEIVERS!

    would give them 0 stars. I cant speak about their new cars. But if there arent selling a new car beware. Between the sales director, sales general manager and service te you have to be careful that that the information they give you is consistent. Just recently purchased a pre owned car. Got a secondary inspection the very next day only to find there are issues with car. The claim to do an inspection on every vehicle but they will never show you those results before you buy. Keep in mind AZ is a state with no cooling off period so once you drive it off the lot you have to keep unless they decide to rescind the deal. The MPP warranty they sell doesnt cover exisiting preexisting issues which you wont learn of until after gnanmet another inspection. Please please get another inspection before purchasing. I have purchased over 10 cars in my lifetime and have never felt such regret in a buying experience..

    5 A/C warranty repairs in 5 MONTHS!!

    August 30, 2019 - took in vehicle because A/C was out September 6, 2019 - car was returned with the compressor, clutch set, and coil set replaced September 16, 2019 - car was taken in again for the A/C not working again September 24, 2019 - car was returned with a replaced compressor, hose, clutch set, and coil set November 30, 2019 - car was taken in again for similar A/C issues December 10, 2019 - car was returned with a new condenser, compressor, clutch set, coil set; at this time we spoke to the Service Manager, who told us that there were no problems with the A/C systems in the Honda Civics (which a Honda America case manager informed me that he should have known there were) and that our A/C was completely fixed and they had the best guy working on it December 10, 2019 - after picking up the car I drove it down the street when I noticed an audible rattling sound when the A/C was turned on and returned the vehicle immediately December 11, 2019 - the car was returned with replacement of a bracket December 12, 2019 - In the morning we noticed a neon green oil leaking from the compressor. I called Bell Honda's Customer Service Manager, where I told her of the new possible leak and that we would like out of the vehicle and we wanted to come down to work something out. We were told that Bell would be happy to work with us to make it right. We head down to Bell Honda to look at a different vehicle, we were told that we would be working with Heather but instead we had JJ and the Sales Manager, Brandon Latour, working with us. Instead of trying to make our situation right we were instead offered to buy a brand-new car with no deal. They offered us Kelly blue book for our trade-in vehicle, but the price of the vehicle we were interested in (stock number was checked) was listed lower on their website than the price that they offered us. We were told that the General Manager was involved and that was the best deal that they could give us. We walked out, feeling insulted. December 13, 2019 - took the car to Showcase Honda where they confirmed that a hose was leaking refrigerant and replaced it the same day Ultimately, Showcase was able to fix the problem and gave us a better deal on a 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback than Bell was willing to offer on a 2019 Civic Sedan LX. This review is limited solely to the facts and does not include the bad service and insulting behavior by many of their employees.

    Good buying experience

    It unusually took a bit for the internet sales team to get a free moment to serve our needs but things went smooth after being received. We ended up test driving and buying a 2018 certified Civic Si for what I believe was a decent price. Daniel was very knowledgeable on the car and went over all the features with me. He ensured it was cleaned, full of gas and went over features again before we took off. Go to the dealership educated. We had our financing lined up already and had no trade to be concerned with. Overall a good experience and I would recommend others to go here.
