    Awesome Nissan bait and switch
by Allan W from Myrtle Beach, SC | November 07, 2019

I saw a new car advertised on Cars.com and the dealers website. Both places had the same price advertised. When I called to buy the car they wouldn’t get within 2700.00 of the advertised price. The sales manager told me that I could either buy it or not and hung up on me. Bad place, stay away.

    Beware Bait-and-Switch
by Deborah Gilkey from Darien, Ga | July 23, 2019

Awesome Nissan of Brunswick, GA advertised a Chevrolet Equinox on Cars.com for $12,999. The actual starting dealer price (before dealer prep, taxes, etc.) was $15,984.95. This marked up price was not disclosed until after test driving the car and working with the salesman. We were advised by the Sales Manager that the additional charges should have been posted on Cars.com but were not. Ultimately this dealer refused to honor their advertised price! Cars.com was notified and will be performing an investigation indicating that it is the dealers responsibility to accurately price their vehicles on their site.

    BEWARE... dishonest and poor service
by Leona from Jesup, GA | July 11, 2018

DO NOT take your car to Awesome Nissan of Brunswick! They will rip you off. Earlier this year they tried to tell me i needed a new set of tires (I had just put a new set on my car from a business in jesup) and after I flat out told them their was nothing wrong with my tires, then they tell me that it was a mistake, the tire gauge was messed up and my tires are fine. Since i have always dealt with other Nissan dealerships and never had any problems with them, I let it go as mistakes happen. However, I had my oil changed and a complete check up of my care done in June in Brunswick. My car was fine. Mysteriously, less then two weeks later my ac goes out. Ok, coincidence. So my sister (as I recently became legally blind) drives me last Monday to have the ac fixed. They tell me its going to be $608 if it takes the whole 3 hours of labor but they have to order parts and ill need to bring it back the next day. Now, my gas gauge worked fine when we drove onto the lot. My gas gauge did NOT work when we left. i immediately called them to let them know there was a problem. Off the bat they tried telling me it would be a $150 diagnostic fee, etc. My sister takes the car the next day to have the ac fixed and the gas gauge looked at. They only worked on the car for an hour and charged 3 hours of labor as well as $30 more than the original quote that nobody could explain. And still didnt look at the gas gauge. After my sister had words with the service manager, she was told we could bring the car back and she would wave the diagnostic fee but implied it would cost us to fix it. I requested the general manager call me but got no response. After speaking with several other people, we took the car back yesterday. The service manager finally agreed to fix the issue but again parts had to be ordered. So my sister takes the car back this morning. The gas gauge was not fixed. They tried to tell her the car needed a new battery (battery is still under warranty and have had no problems cranking the car) and they left dirty foot prints in the back seat when there was no business for them to be in the back seat of the car. I am now calling Nissan Consumer Affairs and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT let these people touch your car! Oh, did i mention that while we were waiting for them to work on the car, one of their technicians came into the waiting room to tell an older woman that her car needed a new tire. After he hounded her for a few minutes about putting a new tire on her car she said that told them no that she would have her husband look at it. Miraculously, 15 minutes later they come back and tell her they read the gauge wrong and her tire was fine. Really?!? Is this a regular gimic they try on people?

    Overpriced
by Kdouble from Brunswick | February 08, 2018

We came in with 4k cash in hand and a pre approval for a loan for 7k. The car we wanted was listed as 11.9 and was brand new never owned, but 2 years old. They weren't willing to negotiate at all on prices. They have several never used older cars and now I can see why. They then offered us an older car with 30k miles for 11k out the door, but we found the same car same miles at a dealer right down the road for 9k out the door. We are happy to give the other place our money and great reviews. It seems Awesome Nissan wants as much money as they can get, and that's why they have over priced cars that are not selling. You can't even talk them down $500. This is no way to run a business and please customers. Be warned! Shop and compare! Awesome Nissan does not give you an awesome deal!

    Over charge beside asking price
by James from Houston | December 08, 2017

Bad customer service and advertised car cheaper in the market but put a disclaimer of $2000 trade or money down before the asking price. Extremely rude.why not priced the car with no disclaimer.Do not waste time of others.
