    Buying a car could not have been easier. Josh Chandler was so helpful and knowledgeable and made me feel like I was his only customer. Any question I had was answered quickly. Josh spent so much time trying to find just the right vehicle for my buying situation. Thanks Josh. Also, Marty Adams made the process actually enjoyable. I wasn't sure it would all work out, but Marty made it work. Every question I had Marty had the answer to immediately. I have never bought a vehicle and had the process be so seamless and fast. I am now the owner of a Camry and LOVE IT. Thank you WHITE RIVER TOYOTA for making me feel special!!!!

    Done with taking the Prius here

    Since buying a Prius here, the service has gotten worse and worse. It seems like every time I bring it in now they'll find SOMETHING wrong, and we get to haggle about whether or not it's even real. This last visit was the last straw. Brought in for a Check Engine Light, and charged double what it should have taken them to diagnose. But let's back up; I had to call after I left because they didn't explain anything. I called the service manager, who recommend that not only do we change the 2 sensors the Check Engine Light coded on (to the tune of $300 and $450 respectively), but oh yeah the ECM needs replacing at a cost of $1000. No answer as to why, these things happen, pay us now. When I complained this seemed outrageously expensive, he said he wouldn't argue with me and hung up! I called back and asked to speak to a manager, who said the same thing: pay up. These things happen. Sucks to be you. I told him that's ridiculous, and that they charged me for 2 hours of work when their own employee told me they'd only worked on it for 1 hour. He said no, the computer clearly says the tech clocked in and did 1:45 of work. Their own employee told me they didn't, but he refused to do anything about it. Needless to say I'll be going somewhere else for maintenance and buying from now on.

    Service Department gets a C- at best

    Bought a Rav4 here last May 31, no problems. Courteous service throughout the transaction. But service is another story. Over the winter, there seemed to be an electrical problem and the car wouldn't start unless I jumped it or always charged it overnight. Called the service department, and they put me down for an appointment two to three weeks out despite my protests. For a week or so, it was definitely a drag looking for someone to give me a jump start all the time. Finally, took it in, and I was angry. The boss there said there had been some problems within the service department on deciding what's a priority, and that I clearly should have been a priority and not given 2-3 weeks to wait. To his credit, he apologized and gave me a new battery, installing it personally on the spot. I felt good about them again. I spent this entire April away from home on family matters. Discovered today, May 16, that my sticker expired at the end of April. They gave me an appointment for as quickly as they could, which was May 30, even though I told them my sticker had expired. Later, in a discussion with a police officer, I was told I'd be wise to get it done a whole lot sooner than May 30. So I made an appointment elsewhere to do so, even though I think all the paperwork I filled out at the dealership says I would get a free inspection there. Whatever. So I called the dealership to explain my conversation with the police, and how they told me to get it done sooner, so I was canceling. The response was a cheerful "Okay! no problem!" Two strikes now, White River Toyota.

    I put my car in because it needed a headlight. They found an exhaust leak and in fixing it, found that the muffler was rusted. They fixed everything but gave me a fair deal on the cost of parts. i was so surprised and pleased. Joe, by service rep was wonderful.

    I've bought several new cars in my time so we decided to see what White River Toyota could do for us. Our sales associate was Sarah Reynolds, she was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous in all aspects of the stressful experience of car buying. Not only did Sarah Reynolds and White River Toyota went all out to give us the best deal possible, she spent the extra time to explain the whole car inside and out. I honestly felt at home at White River Toyota and would not hesitate to patronize that dealership again. To Sarah Reynolds and the White River Toyota staff, thank you for a great buying experience. Highly recommend!

    I just moved to the area from the midwest and clearly was interested in buying two new vehicles on short notice. Perhaps this honesty was my mistake because the offer on the trade in and the fact that there was no discount along with the sales pressure led me to conclude that this was the worst car buying experience of my life. I would not buy a car from this dealership for any reason. In fact after buying Toyota for over 20 years I came away and started to look at other dealers in the area because with some more research I found that the service at this place had bad reviews as well. Perhaps it was a bad day but I do not like to feel like I am being taken advantage of and talked down to by anyone. Watch out for what they value your trade in would be my suggestion if you do decide to do business with them.
