    Out of State Buying Nightmare

    I was in the market for a used Lexus GSF and based on market had to look outside Florida. I had a very low mileage Honda Type R that I was looking to trade. (2,800 miles) Doug Philipps (Sales Manager Westside Lexus) was sending me info and working the transaction on a Certified 2016 Lexus GSF. The photos and representation were very misleading and when I drove to the dealership ( over 1,075 miles from Florida) the vehicle was not even close to excellent condition inside and out. The vehicle had so many rock chips on the front of car . The front would need repainting and the carbon fiber spoiler repaired. The side had been dinged and paint was left with chips on the vehicle. ( no touch up paint) When I arrived I was met by Danny Garza. He seemed to care very little about my representation about the cars condition and put no effort into the time and effort I put into buying a car from them. I never received a phone call or email. I tried to call Doug from Dealership that Monday August 5, 2019 with Danny standing there but didn't speak with him. I just can't believe a Lexus Dealership does business this way.

    Amazing service

    I’ve never seen better service at a dealership. They were very quick and attentive. They even offered a loaner so I could run errands during my hour wait time. Super friendly. So glad I finally have had a pleasurable experience getting service work done.

    We were discriminated by finance person

    Visited 1/13/2019 Reason For Visit Sales (used) "We were discriminated by this person" We came in to westside lexus to purchase our first lexus. Everything was great, Kim Jesse was awesome. When it came to financing we had the worst experience with Kevin Jacobson. My wife and myself along with our two kids (10 and 8) waited in the waiting room and Kevin came out and asked us to follow us to his office to finalize the paper work. Seeing our kids he said only two people can fit in his office and kids would have to stay in the waiting room. Kids were insisting to come along with us. Kevin said, " if kids are coming they would have to sit on the floor". That was the worst statement I ever heard from a professional. Even when having a conversation with Kevin his demeanor was rude and upsetting. I dont know if he was having a bad day or didnt want to entertain the questions we had. We felt we were discriminated based on our race or color due to the communication/interaction we had to endure. Overall it was a disappointing experience. The dealership needs to have some sort of diversity training on how to engage and speak respectfully to all clients regardless of race, color or ethnicity.

    They sold a car with a bad alternator to me

    I purchased a so called Certified Pre-owned car (2011 ES 350) from this dealership in 2014 and the experience has been terrible right after I drove the car out of the lot. Within 3 days the car battery died and I had to get a tow truck to move the car to their service lot. Instead to doing a thorough check, they simply replaced the battery and told me everything was fine. Same issue reoccured again in 2015 and they again simply changed the battery. Fast forward to 2018 and my car died on me right on the highway. I had to pay a wrecker to tow my car to a mechanic shop and had the battery replaced. The mechanic informed me that it was my alternator having issues all these years and wondered why nobody from the Westside Lexus service center picked it up during the numerous "diagnostics inspections". I drove the car to Westside Lexus service center and gave them a timeline of the issues I have has since driving the car out of their lot in 2014. They then decided to do a test on the alternator and found out it was bad, then slapped me with an estimate of $1700 to fix it. Jokers!!! Y'all waited for my warranty to expire before diagnosing a simple alternator problem. I'm done with ya'll. And I have also had to replace my car A.C because the evaporator core was bad. All within 3 years of purchasing a so called " Certified Pre-Owned" car.

    Terrible service,not impressed.

    Had to go in on three occasions to repair a transmission pan leak.After initial repair it leaked again.After bringing my car in for an oil change, I noticed battery hold down bracket was broken,so was maf sensor plugin. I didn't even bother arguing with service advisor about this.Because they would just deny it.Also asked them on two different occasions to check my air filter ,which they said was good.Only to discover when I checked it myself,it was very dirty,covered in dead bugs ,dirt,etc.My high beams weren't working. Tech thought it was a fuse.Put a 10 amp fuse where a 15 amp fuse should be and didn't bother trying to find the short.So problem was not fixed. And I was not charged. I ended up fixing it myself after finding the short and putting in the correct fuse.Shop around there are far better repair facilities in Houston.

    Will from recall department scheduled an appointment for us to coming at 7:45 a.m to replace the dashboard. My husband and I got there on time . We sat there and waited for 3 hrs, and Will came and told us that there is no more dashboard because somebody already took that dashboard. They shouldn't schedule us to coming if they don't have the dashboard.
