    I had a very good experience with a car lease at Toyota of Hackensack. Salesperson Mellie made the whole process feel smooth. She explained over and over how the numbers lined up, got me discounts, worked on all my changing requests and found the car I wanted. There were no surprises or additional charges when meeting with the Finance rep and we closed the deal in no time. A happy customer

    Best Salesman EVER Bill Coll!!!!!

    First, we bought a 2018 4Runner from Bill. Without a doubt the best salesman we have EVER had. No pressure, talks to you like a friend. He listens to everything you have to say and gets you what you ask for. Doesn't give a sales pitch to try and sell something you don't want. He went out of his way to get us the best price possible. We came back for our 2nd and 3rd card within a couple of months. All from Bill. We had a small issue with the 2nd vehicle and Bill and Manager made sure it was immediately taken care of to our satisfaction. Never had a dealership taken such care after a sale. If you had a bad experience, its probably the person you dealt with but the Bill and the manager are truly exceptional.

    They Left a Lot to be Desired, Go Elsewhere

    I had two bad experiences with Toyota of Hackensack. I looked at a bunch of used cars in person and when it got down to discussing pricing was told each car included a fee they called TLP or total loss protection but is more commonly known as gap insurance. I was paying cash, not financing, so the insurance was pointless. I was told this was non-negotiable. I gave my best price (without TLP), the sales associate went to his manager then came back, handed me a business card and said goodbye. No discussion or counter. A few weeks later I called up about one of the cars I had seen, which had now been on the lot for 70 days unsold. I asked to speak to a manager but the sales associate wouldn't let that happen. I asked what the best price they could do on the car was - got the typical spiel that their pricing is competitive. I said I could point to a few online cars that were very comparable but priced lower. The sales associate asked me to email the examples, which I did. She said she'd get right back to me but I never heard back. A follow-up email also went unanswered. All in all, my experience with this dealership was pretty poor though I will say that they have a lot of used inventory.

    When going to buy a vehicle at a dealership or buying a one period, I always go in skeptical and with 100 questions. Basically I am ready. My experience at Toyota of Hackensack was very smooth. The opposite of my other experiences at other dealerships. I have owned two other vehicles. They are professional and work with your situation specicifically. As the process is going along, they kept us in loop and and asked us questions. We were apart of our entire buying process and informed of everything that was going on, pro and cons. Nothing was held back. My husband and I appreciated this. We werent treated like another quota to be met for the month. I will definitely continue to do business with them in the future and I am happy with my 2016 Corolla. It's what I was looking for. I got what I wanted and a decent deal.
