    True patriotic dealership
by Peter Galles from Van Alstyne | July 29, 2020

I personally want to thank Gene, Jacob and Presley for taking a personal interest in helping a disabled combat veteran with the purchase of my new truck. What a true patriotic dealership family. Gene, Jacob and Presley went out of their way to make sure I was given the best deal possible along with making me feel important. On top of receiving the best care and deal, they are also going out of their way to make sure my vehicle has the modifications needed for my disability. God bless the entire Town East Ford family.

    Town East doesn't like money??
by Candas from Rockwall, Tx | June 27, 2020

We went looking for a Mustang GT Premium. Before we got there the salesman knew I was there to test drive it and then I had another appointment at a Chevy dealership to compare it to a 1SS Camaro. Like a true salesman he tried to get us into credit apps and down payments. My husband had to remind him we were testing them first. Fine, he got it, we left to drive the other car. We were approved through two lenders and decided to go with the best offer obviously. When I called the salesman back the first time he was unavailable and the used sales manager took my call. I told him about our lender and he tells me that they don't accept credit union funds. Huh... Ok. I told our lender what he said so she called them while I was on three way with her. She spoke to someone in Finance that assured her they do, in fact, accept credit union funds. Perfect, I called my salesman back and asked him to get the paperwork and numbers together for our "Out the Door" price. He said he would call me back after speaking to his manager. His manager calls me a little while later with the same story as before about not taking credit union money. At this point I was definitely irritated with all the BS. I told him I was sorry we couldn't make it work and hung up. Me being me, I decided to call the dealership and speak to someone else. I was told by this person that THEY DO TAKE CREDIT UNION FUNDS!! I guess the Pre-Owned Sales Manager wanted to hold onto the car so he could get someone to finance it through Ford so they can get paid their kickbacks. Whatever. I took my credit union money elsewhere and got a lower mileage, model year newer, GT for a lower price. A blessing in disguise! I felt like I had to try to hard to get them to sell me something that I already had the money for. Not cool. On another note, our salesman Dave was nice. It wasn't his fault, and as far customer service goes he was great.

    2011 Ford Edge- Brake Repairs
by Zack Rhodes from Mesquite, Texas | June 17, 2020

I have always trusted my 2011 Ford Edge with Ford Service since day one. I moved to Mesquite TX so I started to use Town East Ford. I had one service appointment with an issue but they went above and beyond to take care of it, even after a considerable amount of time had passed. This spoke to me about their honesty and integrity. Most other service departments would have ignored me, but they didn’t. So I will continue to use them and recommend them to all of my friends and family. Thank you, Town East Ford Service!

    Saftey was their main concern
by Aaron Lane from FRISCO, TX | April 23, 2020

I called on the Pre-Owned vehicle I was interested in and dealt with Presley Wickham, the salesperson and Scott Miller, the General Sales Manager. I explained I was very interested in the truck but did not feel comfortable leaving my house as I have recently had surgery. Long story short, they completed EVERY aspect of my deal online and over the phone and email. Presley showed up to my house in a mask and gloves and we did business on the tailgate of the truck by signing the paperwork. The truck was immaculate on the inside and I can tell it had been totally sanitized. I cannot stress to this dealership my gratitude of taking such good care of me and being so mindful of being careful during COVID-19. Thanks again Presley and Scott at Town East Ford...I am a customer for life. Aaron

    False information, Fraud!
by Brenda from Dallas, Texas | February 22, 2020

False, misleading, and deceptive statements from Town East Ford! Please be aware of their business practices. A of 2/21/2020 Zack a representative/employee from Town East ford sent to me misleading email statements were false information was provided to me that they got an approval from the insurance company to do repairs in my Dodge Journey 2019 . Now he states that only partial payments are made from the insurance and that Town East Ford will keep my vehicle. Why Did I got an email saying that repairs were approved if that was not true? I tried to get my car before any repairs were make and Town East Ford refused to give it back to me because i was "undriveable". I told them that I will get a tow truck to get my car to get it repair somewhere else so then all of the sudden they got approval from the insurance which it was a false statement! Also, I was told that they dont get pay to call companies to make sure they get pay, so the $10,000 repair it is not enough money for town east ford to call the insurance company and make sure they are getting paid????? wow! I never heard such a big lie!! Do not take your card to town east ford. They basically keeping my car as a form of payment eventhough I received an email stating that they got approved. which it was a false statement and Under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) that is against the law. You want to keep my car under false statements? you can keep it! I will see you at court!

Red Flags All Over The Place
by Michael Galbreath from Mesquite, TX | January 24, 2020

Arrived at the dealership and the sales rep I expected wasn’t there. RED FLAG HE TOLD ME LAST NIGHT HE WOULD BE THERE BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER. Immediately told the car had a deposit on it and asked if I was I interested in another Challenger. NOPE I drove 2 and a half hours to see the white 2016 Dodge Challenger not to look at the black one with a smaller engine. I seek out the Internet Director who walks with me to the preowned building and all of a sudden the car is available and for sale. RED FLAG - THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH TECHNIQUE WHICH WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. When we started discussing price all of a sudden the car has frame damage that is not listed on the Carfax but will after I buy it. We need you to sign here to confirm we told you about the frame damage. Not signing anything. RED FLAG - CARFAX IS NOT A USEFUL TOOL IF DEALERS ARE GOING TO REPORT AFTER THE CAR IS SOLD. No negotiations allowed. Price of car was $23500 and I asked for $23175. They declined my offer. I had my own financing and agreed to use their’s if the rate was better. RED FLAG - NOT WILLING TO NEGOTIATE. THIS DEALER ISN’T FOR ME. USE THIS DEALER IF YOU LIKE PAYING A DEALER’S “ASKING” PRICE. POLITELY GOT IN MY CAR AND LEFT. I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER BUYING A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. I WOULDN’T EVEN TRUST THEM IF THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME A CAR.

    Do not go here!
by Mitchell Ortega from Dallas | November 24, 2019

I tried to purchase a 2012 mustang gt for $20,000 and put money down on a Friday, the pre-owned sales manager ,Gene, said the car would be ready by the coming Monday. Then I got passed off for the next 10 days, and repeatedly was told it would be ready tomorrow. Finally after finding out the car would not pass emissions and I would need to pay almost $1000 more than the agreed upon price, I got my money back. But the worst part was I had just been rear ended and I only had three days of coverage for the rental car, so I paid more than $500 in rental fees because the staff at Town East Ford. The pre-owned sales manager, Gene, assured me he would pay for the additional rental fees because it was the dealership's BS that caused them. I dropped off the receipt in person and never heard back. I bought a 2014 Mustang GT with lower miles for $2000 less at Reliable Chevrolet. Bottom line: never trust this place they will lie, cheat and steal and never follow through on their promises.
