    Buyers Beware: Don’t shop here
by Odonnell from Indianapolis IN | September 25, 2020

Scuzzy and slimy all around. There were hidden problems with my car from the moment I bought it, some of which were major issues that could of crashed my car as soon as it left the lot. As soon as I tried to get in touch with them about them everyone was magically busy. My sales guy was happy to sell me this lemon but when I came around asking question he was nowhere to be found. I had to bring in legal counsel to get some of these issues fixed, and I had to wait a month for them to be repaired, the service manager was amazingly rude, and within a week another problem popped up. I thought I was the only one having a bad experience but being dishonest and secretive seems to run rampant in this place. Please look elsewhere

    Poor customer relations
by Jordan brand from Delaware county Indiana | August 21, 2020

My wife and I were shopping for a Durango specifically for her. She finally found the exact one she wanted with all the options she wanted. Prior to this we had looked at numerous and couldn’t find the right one with the right miles and options. Immediately upon negotiation they offered me half of the value of my trade and acted like I was crazy for wanting more. Finally a sales manager came out and tried to explain/talk down to me about my trade. After several back and forth conversations we agreed on a deal with me being $500 over my planned budget. I asked how many keys and they stated only one. This is a vehicle that is push button only and the key fobs/programming can be a few hundred dollars. I asked them to include a 2nd key and to fill up the tank (low fuel light on) they refused on both. We left with them knowing we lived more than an hour away. The following day they called and advised they were fight for me and would include a second key. I again asked for him to fill up the tank and he agreed but was not pleased. If it would not have been for my wife following in love with this vehicle I would never have thought twice about going back. We return and dealt with the same sales guys to complete the paperwork. He continued to be rude and disrespectful trying to make up feel stupid for not wanting to purchase their extended warrantees. When we informed him Again we did not want the extended warranties he went on a rant asking if we or friends worked on our vehicles and asked if we enjoyed living on the edge. Keep in mind this is a 2015 Durango with only 50k miles. I don’t know if he has had success in the past trying to bully people but it didn’t go far with us. I will never go back to this dealership and will never recommend them to anyone.

    Horrible dealership, horrible customer service
by Abby from Noblesville In | May 29, 2020

My husband and I were very interested in buying a vehicle from this dealership. All week my husband reached out to many different people, including the sales guy. It was crickets for most of the week. We needed to run numbers and get the vehicle inspected, and the sales guy kept either completely ignoring my husband or giving him the run around all week. We would have bought the vehicle this week, had the sales guy not been so busy playing head games and lying to my husband. So on top of lying to us and refusing to take us seriously about actually wanting to buy the vehicle. We find out tonight that the vehicle sold. Also if your the type of buyer whose like us who needs to have your vehicle inspected before purchasing it, and would like them to put the vehicle on hold, then forget this dealership. They don’t put vehicle’s on hold for anyone for any reason at all..... Again steer clear of this dealership, they only lie to people and they don’t really care about you, only what they think they can get from you....

My Service representative hung up on me
by Jamie from Indianapolis, IN | November 15, 2019

I dropped off my truck at my designated appointment time today and five hours later they can't tell me even when my truck will be looked at. I tell Jessie Baker, in service, my disbelief and frustration. He tells me all he can tell me is that my truck is in line and they'll look at it ASAP, but they have vehicles waiting from three days ago?! That would've been amazing to know this morning. After several rude and sarcastic comments and not service manager available i ask to speak with the GM. Jessie tells me he was told to tell me the GM will call me back. I ask to be transferred to the voicemail for the GM he said NOPE and HUNG UP ON ME! I called back and spoke with a lady name jesse at the front desk who transferred me to the voicemail for the GM. but here i am at work, no car, no idea when mine will be ready and no idea who to call at Tom Wood for help

    Inexperienced and Lazy
by Carly Anne from Noblesville | November 03, 2019

just now The only reason I've selected a 1 star is because I had to choose at least 1 to write this review. I took my 2016 Ford Focus ST for a diagnostic since the check engine light was on 1 month ago. It has a fair amount of aftermarket pieces and a tune so I had figured it had something to do with the ECU not reading it accordingly with the tune that was installed. They told me they would give me a call before anything was done to the car. Didnt hear from them for about 5 hours and gave them a call for an update, in which they told me they were "finishing up now". When I picked up my vehicle, I went to drive off and the hard cut installed with the tune was gone. Instead of clearing the code regarding the check engine light, they cleared my whole ECU in which my tune was on. I called back to see if I could speak to whoever was in charge that evening seeing if maybe we could come up with a resolution. He decided to raise his voice at me and ask me "why I didnt let anyone know I had a tune on my car when I dropped it off". I didnt realize I needed to let anyone know since I was not only asking for a diagnostic, but dropping it off at a dealership service center where everyone there works on cars. I spoke not only to the Service Supervisor but the General Manager as well, where I was told "I'm sorry we fixed your vehicle". And was yelled at over the phone once again. It's funny how I was side swiped by a semi in this same vehicle 2 months prior and still had the tune on my car when I got it back from a collision center, but I drop off my car for a diagnostic and the value of my car decreased by about $650.

    Underhanded and play dirty
by Alex from Carmel, In | September 18, 2019

I had a car reserved and told the salesman, Alex McQueary, that I would be in to purchase but couldn’t get there till the afternoon. We were getting ready to test drive, he told me a tech in the shop bought it. They have first dibs even though I had reserved and there were two more after me. He said they go first even though in the computer it’s saved. I couldn’t believe it. I had asked if I needed to get there sooner but he said the car would be there for me. I think they tech should have waited on line just like the ready of us. It really was dirty and underhanded.

    Worst Car dealership
by Alexis Toschlog from INDIANAPOLIS, IN | July 26, 2019

I recently purchased a vehicle from Tom Wood Ford. Initially the service was fine. I had looked at the website and had favorited a couple cars that they had on there lot, and was called by them a few minutes later to set up a time to come in and take a look. Which I did feel was convenient. However after getting to the actual lot the following day things were a little different. I felt extremely rushed throughout the entire process. Comments were even made back and forth between employees about getting me out of there faster. Not for my benefit for theirs. After getting the vehicle home some important key factors that I made extremely clear I wanted in the vehicle were not included. I’m extremely dissatisfied with this business and how every employee I have spoken to has handled this situation. I highly recommend staying as far away from any Tom Wood dealership as you can! Like

    Zero Stars
by Josh Williams Audi A4 from Carmel, IN | May 06, 2019

Zero stars if I could. I bought a 2010 Audi A4 from Tom Wood Ford in September of 2018. I was coerced into buying a $1500 warranty on bald $700 tires. I was lied to and deceived. I was told the warranty was not a warranty, but in fact, new tires and floor mats. On that basis I agreed to purchase the vehicle. 2 months later my mechanic discovered 6 broken control arms (from poor tires) and that my tires were “legally bald.” Before writing this I reached out to Mike Hume and Tom Wood Ford, where I was repeatedly sent to voicemail. I called and left voice messages only to have my call returned once. Eventually I ended on Tyler, the sales manager, who refused to help me in any fashion. My dad, his company, my mom, grandfather (who worked for Ford), and my company all have purchased vehicles from this dealership on a regular basis. I can assure them from the conversation I have had, that they will not receive business from my family or the company I work for. They did a good job of lying and cheating a 20 year old college kid to make a quick buck. It’s unfortunate it’s going to cost them a large buck in sales. I will be following up with Steve Berta (Investigations Team Leader with Indy Star). Save yourself some grief and do not purchase a car from this dealership.

This was my first visit to the dealership and was very pleased with my interaction with DeWayne and Mattie. Both of these service advisors were friendly and interested in my King Ranch. They exceeded my expectations and will be back when the need arises.
