  Service department needs new and experience mechanics. In n out 6 times in last few months. So fed up! Rental car...NO HEAT UGH ! John salesman was awesome thou !

  I just purchased a 2014 Toyota Tacoma from Thornton Dover and I can’t believe how smooth the process was. They did everything in their power to make sure I could get the best rate and into the ride I’ve been looking for. Chris Shade was my salesperson and the whole crew treated me like family for my entire time there. I will always recommend these guys to anyone looking for a new vehicle. The entire buying process was so hassle free and the employees are just phenomenal.   I purchased a car today at Thornton Automotive Dover, PA and I could not have found a more professional, hard working, and willingness to do anything for the customer to be highly satisfied. The salesperson and manager were outstanding and bent over backwards to be able to get me in the automobile of my choice. I highly recommend Thornton Automotive of Dover PA. Hats off to the salesman, Kevin Shiffer and Sales Manager, Chuck Wakefield.

  I went to red lion apple ford to look at a car I had an appointment and I love 45 min away well when I got there they had sold the car and didn't bother calling me to tell me. So I figured I was already up that way so I stopped in at Thornton in Dover 5 min before they closed and wasn't expecting anyone to really help me. But Courtney stayed and let me test drive the car and went threw the whole process that day. Best buying experience of my life!

  Great place very nice customer services! Jason was very knowledgeable and helpful when showing me different cars/SUVs and explaining which one would be best for me since I drive a good bit for my job. Chuck was great with getting me a good rate so the SUV I wanted was very affordable to my budget! Everyone was so helpful and not pushy like other car dealerships can be.
