by Sports Car Enthusiast from Orlando, FL | May 03, 2020I am looking at performance vehicles in the $50,000-$60,000 range, and Tasca Buick GMC has 3 used vehicles that I might be interested in (Camaro ZL1, a Corvette Z06, and a BMW M3), so I decided to drive an hour away to take a look and hopefully test drive them. I was primarilly interested in the Camaro ZL1. The sales person that I spoke with said they were short-staffed and to come back later. I came back later, and the same sales person took my license to let me test drive the Camaro ZL1. He came back with the keys and a license plate, but first asked if I would be buying the vehicle, and I said I was not sure, as I'm looking at multiple vehicles in this price range and it would depend on the test drive. Since I did not give an immediate and resounding YES, he told me that he would not be able to let me test drive the car. When I asked him why, he said "What's the point? You aren't buying it." I was shocked. This is a very poor way to do business and I regret wasting my time at this dealership. I hope you do not waste your time here either.

We drove 2 1/2 hours and everything went as smoothly as possible. They were expecting me as we had previously had excellent communications. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and helpful. They even lowered the price by $700 from what had been advertised. I'm highly satisfied and give Tasca 5 stars!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP

On Tuesday (10/8/19) afternoon I stoped in to look at a pre-owned 2018 Yuckon Denali. It was the perfect vehicle for me. Unfortunately it was just traded it in so it required to be detailed. I did not want to purchase it in that messy condition, so I offered to leave a deposit while it was being detailed. The sales person Will discussed it with his sales manager Jack and both assured me that a deposit was not necessary, they would have the truck detailed and any imperfections addressed. We had a verbal agreement that I would purchase the vehicle provided no unwanted surprises arose. Due to my work schedule we agreed that I would return on Sunday to finalize the deal. On Thursday (10/11/19) I received a call from Will that a different manager had sold the vehicle. I was baffled and unbelievably disappointed. I could not believe that after offering to put a deposit, meaning I had every intention on purchasing the vehicle and having a verbal agreement with the general manager that the dealership would sell the vehicle to someone else. As a previous Corvette owner I was looking forward to remain within the GM family, however now I will have to reconsider my future purchase.
