    Scam scam scam
by Joelle Rines from Bethlehem, PA | October 21, 2020

I bought a 2019 Chevy Trax from the dealership in June. I started having issues almost immediately. A sensor went off while I test drove it, no problem. They assured me, they would have the shop fix it. While driving it home, the oil gage goes off. 8 percent?!? Then guess what? No gas. So I call the dealership, tel them the issues I am having they will fix it when I bring it to the shop. Okay no biggie. Well, driving up there I notice the driver mirror is not working right I tell them when I get there they say okay let us look, they say they just need to order the parts, no cost. I get a call on my way back, I live almost an hour away, they say, take it to a Chevy dealership. It should be under warranty. I get it to a Chevy dealership, I almost could not believe me ears, the mirror is glued on and upside down, that is definitely not covered under warranty, the technician says they knew it when they sent me to them. I write a review and they call me with apologies and with reassurance that it will be properly fixed. I’ve barely driven my car. I haven’t had to use it much because of the pandemic. I was driving the other day and I noticed that my wheel was shaking when I drove high speeds, and it drifted a bit to the right. They said they did a complimentary alignment so I thought that’s weird, I took it to get looked at. Again, I could not believe what I heard. They told me that the drivers tie rod was bent and the tire had three bubbles on it. They said it was either not fixed properly or not fixed at all. I called and of course I was very, very, upset. I was told that I would get a call back within a half an hour 2 and 1/2 later I hadn’t heard anything so I call my mechanic and I’m told they spoke to them and they said they would not pay for it. I call them back and am told, the manager is out. I’m again very, very, upset. They assure me he will call me back. He does, they say my mechanic say it’s a new break. That is why they won’t pay. I say well, let me speak with them. I speak with the mechanic they say i never said that, my conversations are recorded, I answered questions, that was it. I spoke with them one last time. At one point I cried. I was so upset and frustrated. I paid all this money and now my car isn’t safe to drive. I said at one point one of them is lying either them or my mechanic. They implied I could be lying to them. They said we will see what we can do, I will call you back in a half an hour. I haven’t heard from them since. I called one last time. To the general manager of Star Auto Mall. He was conveniently out for the day. I haven’t heard from them since. They didn’t want to pay for the mirror, they tried to pass it off. They just try to make themselves look good once someone complains.

    Thought I bought a car....but didn't.
by InfinitiFan from Nazareth, PA | December 26, 2018

Did internet inquiry on Friday night. Quick follow up from Taj on Saturday morning to set up test drive. Agreed to test drive and made it clear to the Paul on phone that my trade had a "branded" title. His response was that they could work with me. Met Yaman and he immediately had the car ready for test drive. Once again, I pointed out that my trade had a "branded" title. He responded that they would take that into consideration. Drove the car and liked it....it wasn't perfect, but the pricing was fair for its condition. Yaman asked if I was interested in purchasing and I said that would depend on the trade value they would offer. He and his Used Car Manager both drove my car and agreed it was in very good condition. They made me a very solid trade offer, and Yaman asked me what it would take to close the deal. I gave him a number I would need on the trade (slightly higher than their original offer) and he asked me to sign that I would do the deal if they met the number. I agreed, he went back to his manager with my offer and 2 minutes later he came out, shook my hand and congratulated me on my new vehicle. He indicated that they wanted me to take the car with me that morning and that he would have me on the road in 20 minutes. I called my insurance company and added the new vehicle. Next thing I know, Bob is sitting in front of me telling me that they can't do the deal and that my trade is worth $6,500 dollars less than what I agreed to. On top of this he has the nerve to ask me if we can still do the deal based on the reduced trade value. He proceeds to tell me that I have a title that they can't work with, to which I respond that I clearly disclosed to 2 different representatives of the dealership that I had a "branded" title. The icing on the cake is that he leans in towards me and tells me that Yaman and the used car manger are "young and don't know much about the business yet....they're still learning." I guess that was his way of telling me that they didn't know how to value my car...and yet they were given the authority to negotiate with me on behalf of the dealership. I've never been at a dealership where somebody shakes your hand and has you sign a deal before getting the okay of the correct management. I guess Bob must have been busy filling his coffee cup when they were reaching an agreement with me. I wasn't going to write this review originally, but then they had the arrogance to send me a follow up email stating that they would be happy to work with me and assist me in any way possible if I am still looking to purchase a vehicle. I've been purchasing cars for 35 years and never been treated as poorly, unethically and unprofessionally as I was at Taj.

    Terrible Experience
by Dak from Easton PA | December 18, 2018

The salespeople were very pushy and we’re trying to cover up some of the issues with the cars that I looked at. They were charging very inflated prices and it was an overall terrible experience

    I would never go back
by Gotscrewed from Nazareth, pa | November 28, 2018

Let me tell you about my experience. I got my car from there last year and they gave me a run around for about 3 days. To top it off two of the sales people started fist fighting in front of me while I was there (4 hours sitting, no exaggerating) I honestly left with the car because after so many days I had no choice but to get back on my feet with any car. now the car does this thing where the shift gear goes completely out and everytime I take the car there “nothing wrong” I would never again in my LIFEEEEEEEE go back to them or their associates. Horrible horrible horrible experience and I tell everyone I come across to NEVER shop with taj

    Worst experience ever
by Meghan Patel from Bethelam, PA | October 18, 2018

Worst experience ever in hunting for car. Sales person Larry was trying to trap me to fill the credit application even before deciding cost. They were trying to sell frame damaged reported car which they didn’t disclose to us but I found out myself. Later larry sends messages that I wasted his time cuz I didn’t buy the car, like really? If we go look for a car don’t buy from them its waste for time for them.

    garage won’t honor extra warranty!
by All from Bethlehem, PA | August 13, 2018

Bought a Ford Fiesta and it’s a lemon. Paid for extra warranty and they won’t even look at the car. Had other garages tell us what’s wrong with it. The customer service for this place is rude and unhelpful. This place is a rip off. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
