    Never again
by Chris from Monroe ga | March 25, 2020

I am a repeat customer for 3 times, but it will be the last. Went looking for a murano and wanted certain features. We looked at and bought an SV but should have bought SL. The salesperson told us that only wheels and sound system were different. We had a rouge sv that we just totaled and it had auto lift gate, memory seat, other safety features and I would assumed the murano sv would at least have those features since our murano has leather and a sunroof when the rouge didn’t. We get home and immediately notice the car didn’t have the features we were led to believe it had. Partly my fault for not checking but Didn’t think about it since we had just bought a rogue Sv a few months before with all the same features in the same model line. We called Monday morning to try and return the car and upgrade to the SL. Keep in mind we drove straight home Saturday, parked car in garage and didn’t move it because we had hoped to return it. I kept getting the run around on Monday and they hadn’t yet processed paperwork because they We’re still waiting for a copy of the license which they did not get until later that afternoon. The sales person Said he was trying to get with the general manager to get something worked out he never called me back so I tried it again Tuesday and then he said he needed to get with Curt the finance manager and he wouldn’t be back till Wednesday at this point we have still not drove the car any. Now we are told curt tried to talk to the general manager to only tell us they would trade the car in but we would have depreciation and have to pay the taxes all over again even though they didn’t submit the taxes in the first car. They basically wanted me to pay 9,000 more dollars than what should have cost me $2000 on Saturday when I originally bought the wrong car because of misinformation. This is a horrible way to treat repeat customers and I will continue to spread my story and warn people about the management at Sutherlin Nissan. Don’t be fooled by them advertising to give the lowest price. They will advertise it, but you will then get charged for tint, paintprotection, floor mats,etc... and that will add a few thousand more on their advertised price and you don’t have a choice to not get those items. whatever happened to honestly, integrity and a good old fashioned dealership that treats you like family and not a dollar sign. Mr. Sutherlin really needs to evaluate his employees.

    Did not show the car
by Forgot salesman’s name from Buford Georgia | July 18, 2019

The salesman lied about the extras I was getting on the car, very distrustful sales people. Was not really shown the car, except for a test drive, found out about not having the extras, went back to the dealership was told nothing could be done, and the salesman was rude

    Consumer Violations
by Laura B Hunt from Lawrenceville | June 26, 2019

So, I received an advertised mail flyer from Mall of Ga Sutherlin Nissan on Monday. It advertised a 2018 New Nissan Murano, which I have been looking for now for 2-3 months. The deal was an awesome one, so I called to check if it was in stock, it was and I went there yesterday to purchase it. When I got there, they stated there was a 10k dollar misprint by the advertiser. I was still interested and moved forward in negotiations until they flat out lied about the discounts. Per their corrected advertisement, the rebates and discounts were $11,207.00, yet per their paperwork they only offered me $8000.00. When I called them out, they changed it to $10,000.00. In addition they had over 5k in dealer fees added in with one being $299 for nitrogen. Really??? Like the tires did not come from the manufacturer with air/nitrogen in them. They had $499 for tinted windows which comes with the car from the manufacturer and is included in the MSRP. Anyway, I did a little research and according to the FTC, all advertised prices have to include ALL charges except your standard tax, title and tax and the dealer is the entity responsible for the advertisement. Also, there cannot be any additional dealer fees or charges over and above the advertised price. Needless to say, I’m filing a complaint with the atty general and will spread the word regarding Sutherlin Nissan. Sad part is that between me and two of my daughters, we have bought 5 cars from this specific dealer. I know all dealerships play these games, but if more people filed complaints with the FTC, The Atty General and The BBB, this type of practice would result in very hefty fines and consequences. against them. Have called the General Manager and Mr Sutherlin, neither of whom has shown the concern or common courtesy of returning my call. Per other reviews, this is standard practice for them. Hope my complaints provide results for the consumers.

Car broke down in less than 24 hours
by No one, still, because they do not care from Buford ga. | March 23, 2019

I got a used car from them and in less than 24 hour it had broke down. They charged a 1200 pre inspection fee that obviously wasn't done. No one was has been helpful, a manager hasn't contacted me, they said they didn't have access to a loaner car or even offer to get me home after the car was towed. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. They don't take care of costumers, they're not reliable or helpful, and just want to take your money.

    Shady
by Sutherlin Nissan from Buford Ga | February 08, 2019

We had agreed on a price and signed on that they then went behind my back added in a 1200 fee to "inspect" the used car I was buying therefore not honoring the agreed on price. They signed me up for extended warranty and service programs telling me I was going to pay more if I didn't do so, not disclosing the thousands of dollars these programs cost after I told them I did NOT want the programs. This whole transaction was completely shady and they take advantage of people! I would never recommend this dealership! Buyers Beware!!!!

BUYER BEWARE! KNOWINGLY SELLING DEFECTIVE CARS!!
    by N/A from Columbus, Georgia | January 29, 2019

We drove 2 1/2 miles to test drive a Honda Odyssey that we were assured had been "inspected" and was in perfect working order. It became immediately clear that the CV joints on the vehicle were bad. The salesperson assured us they'd take care of it, so we went back inside with him. They offered to take a whopping $250 off the sales price to make up for what would be (best case) a $1,000 repair. We refused, and made it clear we had no intention of buying a broke down car. There is always the possibility that there are other things wrong once they start removing parts. We told them if they would make the repairs, we'd come back in and if it checked out we'd take the car. The salesman told me the repairs were "too expensive" for them to make...in their own dealership. Of course, we left without purchasing anything. The mechanic who "inspected" this car should be fired, because if he couldn't recognize the sound of bad CV joints, he doesn't know anything about cars. Or maybe he does, and they're just hoping that their customers won't. The very next day, the BROKE DOWN CAR IS ON THE LOT with a $400 price drop. I had a friend call to inquire...no mention of bad CV joints. When she pointedly asked about the CV joints, they put her on hold and never came back.

    Unethical service dept
by Brooks from Buford, GA | December 16, 2018

Misrepresentation of issues with my 15 Nissan Altima when brought in several weeks ago. Told me it was a sensor that I paid over $500 for which in fact it was the transmission costing over $4K! Unethical practices to get your money!!! Beware!!!
