    WORST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE!! READ ALL THEIR REVIEWS ON ALL WEBSITES INCLUDING FACEBOOK! I WISH I WOULD HAVE!!! 4 months ago I would have given 4 stars because the high energy salespeople but the lack of attention on fixing my vehicle before delivering it to me. In September of 2018 I went to Susan Schein to look at Jeep Wranglers as they had a great inventory on their website. The sales person, Johnny, was very energetic and very eager to help through the entire process. I found a manual Jeep that had just arrived so it had a few things wrong with it that I mentioned, and they promised would be fixed on the “172 Point Inspection” before it was delivered to me. I was originally against getting a manual because I didn’t want to have any issues with it but my salesperson completely sold me on the vehicle because the the great 1,000,001 mile warranty as long as I didn’t do anything to void my warranty. I asked time and time again what it all covered so I was sold. A few days later my Jeep was delivered to me however a large majority of the issues were not fixed. It seems as though my Jeep went through a 7 point inspection, not a “172” point inspection. My brakes were not fixed and the still squeak 4 months later. My interior lights were not fixed, my e-brake does not work, it never has, I didn’t even get the sprayers that attach on your hood that spray your window off when bugs hit replaced so there are small holes in my hood where these are missing and I can’t spray my windshield, however I overlooked all of that because I was so excited to have my Jeep. Now less than 4 months of having the vehicle it is now in the shop because the clutch went out, this vehicle only has 45,000 miles, the clutch should not be worn out. This is my 4th manual transmission and never had any issues with any of the previous stick shifts I have had that have reached up to close to 100,000 miles before selling them. My clutch went out on the interstate yesterday morning and had to be towed to a shop. My sales person Johnny promised that their 1,000,001 mile warranty would cover the engine, transmission, clutch, and anything that could possibly go wrong with the vehicle and that was why I bought it. Had I know it would not I would have bought a Jeep much closer to home. However after my Jeep got to the repair shop they called my warranty company and they only cover automatic transmission clutches. Had I know this I would have not bought the vehicle. I am now looking at a $1,200 bill to have my clutch fixed and Susan Schein will not help offset these costs. So the only reason I purchased a vehicle from this dealership is because of the promised warranty that actually does not cover my issues. I wish I never would have bought from this dealership. Had a full inspection been done on my Jeep before rushing to be done with me so they could get another sell they would have fixed all the other issues and maybe would have seen how worn the clutch was. Even if they had no way of knowing the clutch was worn being as I have had this vehicle for less that 4 months you would think the dealership would help at least offset the costs but they are not. Long story short. They’re great salesmen but that’s all they are. They will sell it to you but they do not look out for you unless it benefits them. Save your time and SAVE YOUR MONEY and take your business somewhere where they care about you and don’t just look at you as a dollar sign.

    I hate to be the bad guy in this situation, cause I love people and respect businesses. However, I am definitely disappointed with this company that I have dealt with for years. I can't believe this situation cause I truly loved Susan Schein! All of my vehicles came from this dealership! I purchased a nice Lincoln MKZ hybrid from these guys about 2 years ago, me be being young, I didn't ask for a Carfax and neither was it offered, but was told the car was in perfect condition! I'm literally just finding out this year that the car had structural damage! In this case, I still have a nice looking car that's only worth 10-12 thousand dollars, leaving me with negative equity! The manager then goes on to tell me it's nothing he can do with it as far as a trade. Well sir, the car is in the same shape from when I purchased! Just needs 2 tires in the back and 1 speaker fixed. Also, I keep everything, I still have alllll documents from when I purchased this vehicle, tell me why the only thing I was missing was the Carfax!!! Which had my initials on them, which I did not sign! So, yes I don't recommend shopping here, cause in a couple of years,, that nice car you're looking at might not be worth what you think! I hate I have to be this person, cause it's not me, but it's not fair, and I won't stop until I am satisfied!! On another level! This breaks my heart, but it won't for long. After this is settled, I will no longer be shopping here, unless their heart changes towards a faithful customer!!! Who brought lots of business to these guys!! 1 last thing for buyers( especially young buyers )!! Don't make the mistake I made!!! Alwaysssss ask for Carfax!! Cause if I knew this, I would not have purchased!

    This happened to me today. After work I drove to Pelham Al. to look at a truck. Yesterday I confirmed with Susan Schein Automotive that the truck was available before I drove 4 hours to Pelham. I get to the dealership at 8 am before they open and Shep and I decided to look for the truck. While Shep and I were looking for the truck a salesman drove into the parking lot and asked us if we needed help. I tell him I’m looking for a 2004 Ford F-250 that I am going to look at today with a salesman named David. This is where it starts to get good the salesman in the car pulls what I thought was the ole I have some coming by today to look at that truck. So, I kind of brush that off and head back to my truck while I wait for the dealership to open. Then I noticed the salesman man looking out the doors and pacing back and forth until a truck comes pulling in and the salesman runs out meets them and behold off they go for a test drive in the very truck I went to buy. So the moral of the story is stay as faraway from Susan Schein Automotive in Pelham Al

    Salesmen was Rick Henry and he had a lot of patience and over a period of about 1 month he managed to put me in a car. the reasoning for it taking so long had every thing to do with me and my bad credit nothing to do with him. he was on top of his game. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a vehicle.

    Couldn’t have asked for a better car buying experience! My husband and I were extremely pleased from the moment we stepped on the lot. Henry Corley never pressured us and the entire sales staff made this sale very smooth and easy. We didn’t get what we initially went to look at but ended up with an SUV that we liked much better at a great price. We will recommend this dealership to our friends. Thanks Henry I love my Nissan!
