    I will not go back.
by Not Happy from Arkansas | October 05, 2020

I have owned my 2020 Highlander Platinum edition for less than two months. While driving on the interstate over the weekend, the car started to halt and jerk. It now has about 1,800 miles on it. Check engine light came on, as did the Brake Hold, Collision Assist, and Parking Assist malfunction lights. I drove the last 20 miles to home with these lights on. Today I called this dealership in Little Rock and spoke to Ryan. He told me to bring in the vehicle and I told him it was not possible today as I live 120 miles from the dealership. I also told him I had to be in Fayetteville (75 miles) tomorrow at 1:00PM for doctor's appointment. He said, "Well, we can't help you if you don't bring the car in." And he kept saying something to this effect. I asked if there were closer dealerships and he responded, "I don't know. You either bring in the car or we can't do anything for you. Or you need to have it towed if you feel it is too dangerous to drive." I asked him if the vehicle was too dangerous to drive and he just said again, "you have to bring it in first. I can't tell you what to do." I said, "I might as well drive it to Rogers as to Little Rock." He replied that that might be the thing to do, but didn't know if they could help me. I then told him he had been no help at all and to transfer me to the manager. He connected me to service manager, where I left a message. Now, more than two hours later, no one has called me back. I reached out to the Rogers dealership, who immediately apologized for the inconvenience and frustration, asked if the lights were steady or blinking (they were blinking), told me to not drive the vehicle at all, and connected me with a towing service to pick up the Highlander today. They were courteous and friendly, which Ryan was not. I will never go back to Steve Landers in Little Rock because I refuse to be treated in such a fashion. I will take my Highlander to another Toyoto dealer for service. I advise you to do the same.

    Will Not Return
by Arkansas from Little Rock, AR | September 22, 2020

Third time is a charm for me to not return. The past three visits have continually gotten worse. The service department is so unprofessional and do not care about customer service. One time I had my tires rotated and then within a couple of hours my tire was completely flat because it was not put back on correctly. This time I had to wait 25 minutes for my car to be brought around (which I ended up walking to and getting myself) and after asking about it twice. I will never go back to this location and will go to Conway or Little Rock for any type of Toyota dealer related service.

    Caring
by Bruce Adams from Perryville, Arkansas | May 02, 2020

Bought 3 cars from there. This finished it. No concern for the buyer. Just it. Good people, worked hard for me and a lot of give because of me being loyal.

    Seem unethical
by Car buyer from Missouri | December 14, 2019

I inquired about a vehicle online. At first interactions with the “internet sales manager” Dustin went ok. Then while negotiating I noticed they lowered the price online $1,000 less than the deal they were working on with me. When I asked about why they did this I was told it was an automatic web site price change and that no humans were involved. That didn’t sound believable. They did reduce my price to meet the web site price the next day but things didn’t feel right. Sales rep kept telling me someone else wanted the truck to pressure me. The deal went cold from there. Another sales rep emailed me so I responded that I was still interested. She immediately turned me back over to the original sales guy who told me the vehicle sold a week ago. Now two weeks later the same vehicle is still listed for sale on their web site. When I asked about this the sales rep told me he didn’t know why the vehicle was still showing on the web site since it sold already. Seems odd that he is the internet sales manager and doesn’t know why the vehicle is still listed. I would beware of dealing with Landers in Little Rock. This experience had many feelings of unethical behavior.

    Beware
by Scott from Maumelle, AR | August 01, 2019

Until recently, my experience with this dealership had been good having bought multiple vehicles from them. However, all that changed in the last month. First, I had a poor experience with the service department as they left the oil cap off when changing the oil before my long summer vacation drive. I contacted them about this but they never replied. Then I had a equally poor sales experience when I received a completely insulting initial offer and, when I expressed my unhappiness, had to deal with a bad attitude from the salesman. Finally, after disposing of a vehicle that I purchased from Steve Landers Toyota, they refused to refund the money I was entitled to for the unused portion of the extended warranty that I originally purchased from Steve Landers. So I say beware!

    Don’t believe their website prices.
by Very unhappy Landers customer from Little Rock, Arkansas | March 21, 2019

I’ve bought Toyota for decades. I will NEVER deal with any dealership with the Landers name again. I priced a new Tacoma on line and when I enquirered about the truck I was told the website price was incorrect and the price was approximately $3000 more than advertised. And this particular vehicle wasn’t the only one with untruthful prices. I was lied to and blown off by their so called general manager and their internet sales guy. I’ve NEVER given a bad review on sites like this, but I’m going to attempt to talk to Toyota about their scam. Be aware and warn your friends and family about these crooks. Toyota is an awesome product that shouldn’t be represented by con artists like the Landers auto group. I will always buy Toyota, but NEVER from these people again. Stay far away.

    What a joke
by Joshua from Little Rock, AR | December 11, 2018

The Service Department here is a joke. I made an appointment for a tire rotation at 11:20 in the morning. At noon, my car was still in line to get into the shop. As a business, if you're running late, notify your customer. As you can imagine, after that, I was very heated being told that they were working on it. I told them to forget it, get my car out of the line and I would bring it to another shop. When I got my car back, they had already thrown up the new sticker, reset the maintenance reminder, and popped my hood. Luckily, the Camry hood latch must be pretty strong because it didn't pop up on the highway on my way back to work. Needless to say, I will NEVER be bringing my car here or suggest this shop for anyone I know. I'll be bringing my business to Caldwell in Conway. They're worth the drive because they treat people right.

    Mercedes G-Wagon
by Ruth Wise from Beaumont MS 39423 | September 15, 2018

After first contact with the dealership I corresponded through several emails with a Mr. Noel. My request was simple needed to see actual photos of the vehicle advertised. .. he agreed to send and never once sent them or even forward the request to anyone else. After 4 days of NO RESULTS I gave up and began my search elsewhere because if photos was too big a problem then any service if I purchased the vehicle would send Landers Toyota over the deep end. I received a follow up email from a woman named Maria 6 days later after telling her what I needed. ..SHE TOO WENT GHOST? ???? But out of the blue I was again contacted by another salesman who I explained the photo request to and he. .. then... texted me and said the vehicle was found to have serious maintenance issues and was no longer for sale. Not what I wanted to hear but at least he didn't do a WHODINI AND DISAPPEAR!!!!! All I would like to know is WHO POSTS A VEHICLE ON THEIR SUPPOSEDLY GOOD COMPANY REPUTATION FOR SALE WITHOUT FIRST EVEN LIFTING THE HOOD OR KICKING A TIRE TO KNOW THE DETAILS OF WHAT THEY ARE SALING???? THIS is inexcusable especially considering the thesis that was written on the cars.com website describing the vehicle. I'm confused as to what's worse. ... FAILURE TO INSPECT A VEHICLE BEFORE LISTING IT FOR SALE or LIEING ABOUT THE DESCRIPTION TO INSIGHT A PURCHASE RIOT????
