    We have been customers of Stanley Chevrolet in McCordsville, Indiana for 15 years. We use them for maintenance/repair of our vehicles. Their service department is outstanding. The service writers are very polite and know their business. They do not try to sell you items that you do not need, nor do they tell you that you need something that is obviously not broken. Their technicians are experts in their work. They are clean, meticulous and precise with their work. We recently decided to move to one vehicle. Stanley gave us a fair amount for our two Chevy Impalas and worked with us to get a decent rebate for a new Equinox. We had worked with Bill Cecil, the salesman, in prior purchases. Bill did not high pressure us. He steered us from the Trax, knowing our past history and our own personal background. He knew the Trax would be too small. We mentioned a TrailBlazer to him, and he felt it would be too big. He let us drive an Equinox and we fell in love with it. There is no price haggling at Stanley as we had encountered in dealerships in the past. We were EXTREMELY pleased with the price we paid for our Equinox, and felt the extended warranty was well worth the money. We will continue to drive to Stanley Chevrolet to have our car serviced as long as we live. We are two "older" ladies (65 and 62), and highly endorse Stanley Chevrolet in McCordsville, Indiana.

    WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

    ***BUYER BEWARE*** What a trip. Id like to start this review by saying I normally don’t leave them. I get that some car deals just don’t work out. But this was a bit excessive. Ive been calling into the dealership about a car I was interested in purchasing. I noticed that the car was 2 1/2 hours away. I have a trade I was looking to use however gas on it terrible and would cost around $50 just to get it there. I spoke to the Online Sales Manager Judy and told her what my final offer was and could be. I was told that we were in the ball park they just would need to see my trade. I told her that I wanted to make sure the car was in good order and nothing was wrong with it. I also said that I wanted to make sure that my offer was in the ballpark as it wouldn’t be cheep to drive there and then something not workout and end up driving back. I was assured that we were in the same ballpark on price. I made the trip down that night, upon arrival I went to look and the car only t see the windshield is cracked. We took the car for a drive and upon return started to talk price. The salesmen we had been flipped to apologized for us even driving down and said he didn’t want to waste anymore of our time because we were no where near close. I asked how close we were and it was still $2000 difference. Im not sure how that means we are the ballpark but I wasted $100 and a few days with these people! Its sad when even the sales staff has to apologize for ignorance lead on by their team at this dealership! Trying to not make this wasted trip I looked over their lot and found the same car I was looking at only 3 years older, and with 7,000 more miles. (ONLY A PRICE DIFFERENCE OF $1000 on a much older car with MORE MILES) I asked if we would get a deal worked on that and I was told id have a final price in the morning. I got ahold of my bank and got all set up to only get an answer back at 5pm tonight saying that they are sorry for the wait. That the owner has to approve every deal at the dealership and that’s what’s taking so long. The salesmen cracked a joke about it all saying “you think we were negotiating a $150,000 car”! Fast forward until now and I was told the owner would come down and the deal with that car wouldn’t work either. This dealership must love their cars because after all my hassle my money, and my time they wouldn’t budge $405 on a car that was way overpriced to begin with. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ***BUYER BEWARE***

    Steer clear

    Took my vehicle in for an oil change. It was brought to my attention that I had another issue that would cost me $800 to fix. The problem with that was, I already had the issue fixed at another dealer. So I took the vehicle to a third dealership for a second opinion. That dealer said the first shop fixed the issue and there was no problem. I brought this to Mr, Stanley’s attention so he would know that his employee was trying to perform unneeded and expensive repairs. He told me I was the type that would complain at McDonald’s if they shorted me a fry. Nice guy. I would recommend going elsewhere to purchase or repair your vehicle.

    called a week in advance to schedule appointment, dropped truck off night before, was told day of service couldn't complete do to not having parts,2nd claimed recall already complete told service writer not true because I ordered truck and had not been back to dealer since delivery,so then they couldn't look at that recall until end of week transmission man busy

    Very quiet, professional environment. Mike Rice helped me look for a car that fit literally every one of my needs. He got me great deal and never made it feel like he was selling me a car. It's like he was family just helping me look. Great place. Will buy all my cars there now!
