    Immoral and Dishonest sales practice
by J Grant from Palmdale Ca | October 25, 2020

Horrible. $2000 for “door guard, gps, window tint and some stupid nitrogen in tire. They say it’s mandatory, that’s xxxxxxxx. None of those things are necessary. They think people are ignorant and will fall for bogus sales options and fees. Do not buy if they try to sale you that crap. There are plenty of other places to purchase a car or Van that do not practice immoral and dishonest sales tactics.

    Terrible Experience
by DisappointedCustomer from Lakewood, CA | October 21, 2020

Went for a used car I saw on CarGurus, listed on CarGurus and this app. I had an approved loan from my bank, and this dealer is included in the list of dealers B of A works with. Easy enough right? I choose a car, bank sends dealer payment and I pay the bank back after, right? Wrong. I already had the details worked out with my bank at various price points and knew how much I’d pay monthly for each one. The salesman kept asking how much I want to put down and kept giving me higher monthly payments than the ones my bank had given me. I told them that I already had a deal worked out with my bank, all they had to worry about was coordinating with them to get their money from Bank of America. That’s when the BS began, they had tacked on an extra $3,300 to the price of the car for 3M coating, nitrogen and a GPS. Like, what? Got up and walked out after that one. Reading other reviews, I see they’ve done it to other people too. Avoid this place at all costs! Don’t believe the listed prices they have on apps like this one and CarGuru. Taxes and fees are fine, we all pay those. They’re required. But getting screwed over some questionable add-ons, that’s a big NO from me. Would not recommend this place after my experience.

Don't Waste Your Time... I NEVER REVIEW
by Gabriella from Anaheim, CA | October 09, 2020

Hello there all buyers! I have to start by saying, I personally never write bad reviews... but this one had to be written. I saw a used SUV of my liking, and inquired an email about it. I was later presented with a price that I thought I couldn't beat. The salesmen swore that there was nothing else in that price around.. and by the looks of it, there wasnt. I work in sales, and a very big numbers girl. I specifically said in my email I wasn't going to make the drive if the number wasn't accurate Well, I drove over an hour to get there, and when we went over financing... I did the math and the 14k car, ended up baing 23k... 23k! They kept telling me it was tax and dmv fees... hmmm CA state tax and dmv fees with good enough credit is almsost an extra 10k? NO WAY. After I said no, I walked to my car and the salesman and manager followed me saying they would drop the price by 1000. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They do not care about screwing people over. I just drove off and got a car from a dealership an exit away.

    Scammers
by Peter Lagaris from Anaheim | September 23, 2020

My car lease is ending soon and was due for car maintenence, so I figured I would kill two birds with one stone at the Hyundai dealership. I had done my research so I felt pretty prepared when I walked in. The name of the agent assisting me was Amir Ardestni, we talked about what I wanted and what I was willing to pay but, after waiting 30 minutes for them to run my credit, they returned with a monthly payment much higher than expected. I was shocked but then the agent told me that I had bad credit and that's why the payments were so high. Seeing my disappointment,he said, "What can I do to close the deal today?" I told them, "There's nothing you can do, I need to think about it but I will probably come back this weekend." Apparantly they are not okay with me thinking about it because as I was walking outside, one of them chased me down and explained to me, "We can take off your extended warranty that will drop the price quite a bit" And I so SHOCKED that they would add the extended warranty to the price without asking me! I asked, "What if I said yes, when were you planning to tell me you added the extended warranty without my permission?" I would later find out they also added GAP insurance, without my permission as well! I was pretty annoyed that they would add optional charges without my consent but still decided this wasn't a waste because at least I could keep their quote as reference of what I am qualified for. But guess what? They told me I wasn't allowed to keep their quote. When I asked their supervisor, he said, "That quote is for us not for you." I strongly believe the only reason they would withhold a quote is because their up to something shady. BUYER BEWARE

    Never Again
by Anna Garcia from Bellflower, Ca | August 30, 2020

Never Again. I went to purchase a used vehicle that was on cars.com and at the financing time they said the vehicle had 3M coating, nitrogen in tires and a gps. I said I don't need any of that. They said well its already install you have to take it. 2600 more. Then they dropped it to 1400. Nope add on should be options. Never Again.

    Standard Used car Salesman...
by Customer from Orange County | June 08, 2020

Called in on a $60k truck. I was ready to go until I realized I just didn't like the guy. The salesman couldn't stop telling me how many cars they're selling. Saying, OMG they go so fast I've never seen anything like it! After reading the other reviews.. makes total sense. Whatever happened to, hello, thank you for calling, what are you looking for, how can I help you and what questions do you have? Jesus.. used car salesman are the worst! No thanks I'll keep my money and go elsewhere where they treat you like a proper customer. Good luck with those sales tactics boys! You sure know how to train.

    STAY AWAY
by disgruntledaf from oceanside ca | May 23, 2020

STAY AWAY! They will not honor carguru prices and when you think you've negotiated a deal they'll slap on separate charges. They took advantage of a wounded combat veteran and wouldn't take back the car after the fact when the issue was noticed within 24 hrs.

Bait and Switch: Predator and Prey. 6 hour Ordeal.
by James from Los Angeles, California | August 03, 2019

August 03, 2019 "Bait and Switch: Predator and Prey. 6 Hour Ordeal. " - ConcernedColleague I was looking for a 2019 Elantra Sport. A couple of dealers close to me had it in stock but not the color I wanted, so I made the drive of over an hour to Russell Westbrook of Anaheim because they seemed like they were honest over the phone. Once I got there, things started off great and friendly....test drove the car..friendly chit chat..but how quickly things changed. After the test drive and the friendly conversation. The shady tactics immediately began. I repeatedly told the salesman over and over that I wanted everything clear and transparent as far as vehicle price and out the door price. What do they do? They play the monthly payment game with me. " How much do you want your payment to be? " I already knew this was a shady tactic. But I played along. A man's character is worth more to me than any dollar amount. So I let the salesman do his thing. We do the back and fourth as he goes to his manager. Comes back. Goes to his manager. Comes back. This happens about 5 times. He comes back the 5th time and there is " service agreement " now worked into the pricing. So I asked him what is it ? He told me it was an extended warranty. I told him Hyundai has the best warranty in the Auto industry and I didn't want it. He responds with : "I can't get your payment to where you want it if you don't get the warranty and help me out. " ( Basically make his commission higher. ) I chuckle to myself inside and let him do his thing. They basically were playing the let's make the customer tired game and they will cave. This dealership is ridiculous. Mind you I have bought many many cars over the years and personally I work in sales myself. So this was fun for me to observe. We finally get to a payment that works for me and mind you, I still haven't seen what the total price is on the car and anything else that's added on top of the vehicle. At this point we have been at the dealer about 4 hours now. I see the camera in the corner of the ceiling so I know they are watching me from the almighty mirrored managers office. Give me a break. I actually don't see the final numbers until it's just about closing and I'm in the finance managers office. In the final contract there was a KARR alarm system I wasn't told about that was over 1300 dollars. A 3M clear sticker that was 595. The " Warranty " at over 1400 dollars. Mind you, all of the additions caused my payment to be 60 dollars more a month than it needed to be. That's worth it to me to see a dealer and a man's true colors. I told them I didn't want any of it, they told me they couldn't do the deal if they took all of the above items off...I know right?! The shady keeps coming. LOL. They said the alarm was pre installed and they couldn't uninstall it. Wow. Having bought cars before I already knew they could just disable it if they wanted too. But they didn't, instead they assumed I was dumb and wouldn't put up much of a fight. I didn't. Not because I'm dumb, but rather I wanted to see how desperate this dealer was to make a profit, I wanted to see how far this dealer would take things. I walked out of there feeling like I had been f****d without lube. I would have told everyone I knew to come buy their new Hyundai here. Instead I have already told 15 people not to come here. I'm sure those 15 people have told more people and so on and so on. What is the lesson here folks? An honest sale keeps more sales coming. A pipeline and book of business that is consistently lasting. This dealer won't have that. Not with my salesman anyways. Wish I would have worked with Oscar. I didn't. I already called the provider of the extended service agreement and they told me I could cancel it at anytime through the dealer. Which I will do. I will post updates with anymore shady games they attempt with me. After that, it's a direct visit to consumer relations at corporate in Fountain Valley.
