Worst Experience at a Dealer.
by William from Los Angeles Ca | August 27, 2019Went in to Test Drive a Challenger Scat Pack and was told I could not test drive it unless I did a Credit Check. My wife and I would would never fill a credit application to a car we are not sure about in the first place. I am looking to buy a Car in whole not leasing or with a loan. I was told I could only test drive the Challenger v6 sxt. I Test Drove a Mustang GT and a Lexus f Sport both cost more and was not required to do a Credit Check. Will definitely not ever come back to this dealership and DO NOT RECOMMEND for any serious buyers.

I had a very specific car I was looking for in a very specific color, this being the jeep unlimited Moab addition and stingray black. I went onto Russell Westbrook's website and the advertised price on the website was $49,342 and I even got an email e-price quote at that exact same sales price. I called up Russell Westbrook jeep and let them know I was ready to buy the car that day for that price. I was not trying to negotiate or ask for anything other than the price they quoted me. It's was a full day to even get a call back after speaking to multiple sales people. When I finally did get a call back this morning I was informed that there is a mandatory $1595 charge for a GPS security unit that they had pre-installed on the car. I told them that I was not interested in this option and to please remove it and honor the price they quoted me. They said they could not do that and that it is mandatory and they cannot remove it or remove the charge even though it wasn't included or disclosed on their e-quote they emailed me. I've bought many cars and am aware that the GPS tracking units are required for the dealership to get insurance on the automobiles while they're on the lot. I've run into this before and I have always had it removed because I don't need that option. This dealership uses underhanded sales methods and tacks on additional fees and options that shouldn't be there and are not included in their initial quotes. I will now be buying a $50,000 jeep from another dealership because Russell Westbrook would not honor the quote that they gave me. I will also be in contact with Jeep's corporate office as I feel this dealership gives the jeep brand a bad name. Steer well clear of this dealership!

First, a rude lady calls me demanding on site visit, and then her manager Michael texts me and asks me for the vehicle in question, and no answer. On the next day, I just called them to see what the process is, and they are very uninterested in having an out-of-state customer. After mentioning to them that Im willing to fly over to buy the car, they increased the price over $4,000 on their website. Avoid this place! Rude salespersons get nowhere.

First of all, I was interested in another company and car, but they promised me a price that at the end they could not deliver so I was very bitter from that experience. My husband and I did our research on the Pacifica and figured that we could only afford the LX model. So, I called around and got the best price in LA which is far from me, so we decided to go to Russell Westbrook to test drive the car and see if it was even worth driving out to LA. We met Daniel he was really nice and let us test drive the LX model, we really didn’t like the fact that it had NO power doors! I mean it’s a minivan the main reason for a minivan is the power sliding doors. He told us that the next model up had the power sliding door, but I knew I couldn’t afford it. Daniel realized that this was the main issue and asked me if he could keep the monthly price about the same would I be interested in the Touring Plus model? Of course I would be interested but I knew that was impossible because I did my research and I knew the price wouldn’t make any sense to them. Sure, enough he brought the TP model and it was great, had everything we needed. Next step he went to his manager and came back with a price that was only $15 more than the LX model. I couldn’t believe that I could have gotten such a great price! Finally, a dealership that keeps its promise!!! I highly recommend this place!
