    Awful
    by E.Wex from Mahwah, NJ | August 19, 2020

Three years ago I leased a Murano SL and although the pricing was excellent the overall experience was bad. Now that my lease is expiring, I need a new car. I decided to give Rockland Nissan another chance since time has passed and no point in holding a grudge. Unfortunately, nothing has changed and customer service/relations is still awful. Emails and phone calls went unanswered or delayed by far too many days. Unlike other dealerships that contacted me immediately and had great follow up, Nissan Rockland could care less. Thankfully, competition in our great society still thrives and I have a number alternative dealership to give my hard earned dollars too.

    Dissapointed
by VG from New York, NY | July 16, 2019

Left work early and drove an hour to test drive a used Pathfinder which I was coming with the goal of buying and driving off the lot same day. Everyone was very friendly and was taken to my appt immediately. My main issue is the car was in no condition to be bought same day. First the car was being used by someone - assume some manager - as personal belongings were in the car (glasses, iPhone charger, bag in the trunk), and trunk was dirty as appeared it was used to transport some materials. Second the car had 2 wheels with rims bent and unsafe to drive. And it was heavily scratched. Nowhere on the website was this disclosed. Am disappointed as wasted half of my day. I guess I should have asked ahead of time before coming but I would have expected the car to be clean and in good condition...as advertised.

    Great Experience
by Ashley D. from Suffern, NY | March 26, 2019

Thoroughly impressed! I had the pleasure of working with Kenny Blair. I've been shopping for a car for a couple of months now and he gave me the best service out of all the dealers that I went to. He was honest with me and I felt very secure and trusted him the entire time. He was very patient and let me look at multiple cars. I left leaving with a Nissan SR AWD and a deal that I never imagined! I would totally recommend Kenny to my family and friends. The sales manager Omar was very helpful as well. He was able to work with me to have the upholstery changed to full leather.

    Excellent dealer
by Brad Gold from Haverstraw, NY | February 25, 2019

My wife's car was about 6 months away from end of lease and she decided that she drives too many miles and would like to buy her next car. So we decided to start looking. We first went back to our Mazda dealer and told them we were looking for a used car and gave our budget. We were basically told they didn't have any used vehicles (really?), and that we should wait and see if any promos run. I used to drive Altimas (I had 3 - last one in 2010) so I suggested she look at that car and we went to Rockland Nissan. We were immediately greeting by Michael, new to Nissan, but very nice and professional. After discussing what we wanted and that we didn't think we could get one right now, he looked at inventory andour budget, and found us a car we could get. So we agreed and filled out the paperwork - the only real hiccup was when we spoke to their finance manager - the monthly fee was higher than we were promised. The issue was my wife was over in miles on her lease so Tim O'keefe (the main guy there) came in, sat with us and in no time we had a deal at a price we were happy with.We got a 2017 Altima 3.5 SL with only about 35k miles for a very fair price. My wife LOVES the car and we couldn't be happier. Fast forward to the next day - she noticed some damage on the front bumper that wasn't disclosed. Perhaps no one noticed, but we took it back and without a thought, they agreed to fix it for free. Now I was so impressed with Tim that I told him (jokingly) I have about a year on my Mazda 6 and I'd love to get a new Altima. He asked me to come in the next day and he'd find a way to get me what I wanted at the price I was comfortable with. So i showed up early in the morning and Tim introduced me to Dave. A very experienced and excellent sales person - one of the best I've met in the industry. He was honest and patient and we went over everything I wanted. He showed me a few models and I fell in love with the 2019 Altima SL in Storm Blue (really nice color - looks almost black). We went back over to Tim and before I knew it, we had a deal. The only negative thing is I was there for six hours before I left with the car. They were very busy and I believe a bit understaffed. I have to say though, I LOVE this car and could not be happier with how I felt taken care of. This dealership treated me like I was their top priority (except when I had to wait for a while) and the overall experience was fantastic. 2 days - 2 Altimas. I'll be going back there for sure. Thanks to Tim, Dave, Michael, and the rest of the Rockland Nissan team!

Overcharge oil change and tire rotation
by Bob from Blauvelt NY | December 22, 2018

They quoted me $55 for an oil change and tire rotation. Then they charged me $90. When I said, "Holy xxxx!", I was told that I had already received a discount. This was after they told me that they couldn't honor my coupon because my car want a Nissan, even though it didn't say that on the coupon.

    Terrible customer service
by Asia Holloman from Poughkeepsie, New York | July 09, 2018

I called to make an appointment for an oil change and I was told that oil changes stop at 4PM which is a complete lie. I then proceeded to ask for a service manager and was transferred to the receptionist names Susan. It then became phone tag because no one wanted me to speak with an manager. Then a guy names Jeff helped me. Very helpful and sincere. He told me to come in at 5PM and he would help me. It seems to always be an issue with the service advisors not being knowleagble when service hours end. Customer service is also terrible and still the manager has not reached out to me.

It's NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE at Rockland Nissan!!
by AJ the Computer Engineer from Congers, NY | June 23, 2018

Pushing 60, and this time around wasn't my first car-buying rodeo by any means. Our family has bought/leased over 8 vehicles from Rockland Nissan (after always shopping around) in the pas 17 years. EVERY TIME we rolled out of there we thought we got the deal of the CENTURY...... but this time was different. My hopes were not high. I'm now a Disabled Vet, and while everyone is appreciative, you don't take home much of a paycheck. I had a 10 year old 125,000 mile trade in and NO CASH in my pocket, so I didn't expect to get much better than a upgraded used car on my budget. Then....... Tim O'Keefe to the rescue, Seal Team 6 Style....... BRAND NEW NISSAN SENTRA SV with all the gadgets WITH TWO YEAR MAINTENANCE... LESS THAN $219 a month, NO CASH DOWN!!!! Just when you think it can't be done, ROCKLAND NISSAN CAN. Just tell them what you want and what you can do a month, and they will work with you till they get it done!! EXCEPTIONAL!!! Still pinching myself........ :-)

    Buying used can be stressful
by Mr Pessimist from Rockland NY | December 09, 2017

Buying a used car can be a stressful event. When you figure that your shelling out thousands of dollars for a used car, you have to think, is this going to be ok? You definitely need to do your homework, not only do you need to research the vehicle, you should also check up on the dealership selling the vehicle. What a pleasant surprise Rockland Nissan met every request, they even put the car on a lift , so my mechanic (yes , my mechanic , they had no problem with him coming in)and I could check out the chasis. This put a lot of my fears to rest. They were more than hospitable and never pushy. They also made a customer out of me, so if your looking for new or used give them a visit
