    No tire warranty?!?!

    My husband and I had researched the exact vehicle that we were looking for, instead of buying locally which we had in the past, we decided to go down the hill, much farther away thinking we were going to get a great deal..found it in Riverside and requested to have a man named Tony be the salesman that we were going to talk to, another man started communicating with us, we went down, seen the vehicle and made the deal, more than what we wanted but we were excited and needed a truck but it was very rude of him to take phone calls of other customers while he is trying to sell us this vehicle, also he was very persistent about getting us signed up for points that he never explained what they were for and wanted good feedback on a survey we were going to be sent to complete. We test drive the truck, no issues, get all the paperwork done, he starts to show us where things are in the truck and heads to the rear of the vehicle after receiving a text and proceeds to text, at this point I wanted to just leave and we would figure it out. We had the truck about 1 week and had to drive down after work to take them a check, head home and end up getting a knife in our tire. The next day, I text the salesman and ask what warranties we have on tires and rims, he tells me to look in the manual... "Thanks", I ask a few more questions about it and am told that there is NOT ANY warranty. We paid for every warranty that we could, we also ALWAYS purchase warranties on all of our tires and there is no warranty on a $42,000.00 brand new truck?!?! That is some b***s***! My husband and I are obviously upset, he calls and talks to the salesman that we had and there is an exchange to where he states he had spoken to his manager and "In the Christmas spirit" they are going to help us out, we purchase the new tire, they reimburse us for it but also my husband has to submit a good review on the survey, which I am the one who is dealing with all the emails and such. We order the new tire, go to take it to have it put on the rim and found out that the knife that was in the tire had messed up the sensor inside the tire and this knife had punctured the rim!!!, so more issues and so now we purchase the rim, were out over $600.00 at this point and all we want to do is enjoy our truck, I send the salesman a screenshot of the purchase of the tire and he tries calling me back which I told him to call my husband, he never did. We waited until we were both together to call him back and he tells us that they no longer plan to fulfill their side of the bargain due to the survey answers I had given, which was not in my husbands control, AND I never said anything malicious, I was honest though and mentioned that the salesman should pay attention to the sale at hand, and to not text while he was in the middle of a sale, I did also mention that they were trying to help us fix the issue with the tire, but STILL because it wasn't the review he wanted, they ended up not helping us with the tire situation. If I would have LIED for him then we wouldve been reimbursed and in the end for the tire, so basically they were holding that survey over our heads and hounding us to complete it. Thank the Lord above that in these covid times that my husband and I are fortunate to both be essential workers and God has blessed us to be able to pay for our own tire and rim, BUYER BEWARE- They DO NOT send you away with the warranties you might think you will get AND they don't care about people, obviously... all about that $$$. I am going to call my local car salesman and express my gratitude to them instead.

    I had a bad experience on my first visit as I already left the review. I am unable to modify my original review. I was contacted by the GSM Tony after my negative experience. He ended up selling me the truck I wanted at a great price. On my second visit my experience was perfect. No complaints except for the floor manager on my first visit.

    Falsely Advertises Price on Cars.com

    Found at least 3 trucks on Cars.com that the price was falsely advertised. When I contacted the dealership via internet sales to verify price and availability, they verified availability but would not verify price. They wanted all my information. I gave them my info but refused to give my phone number until they verified price. They said that I would be contacted. The next day a follow up email ensued. I told them that I still had not received a verification of the price. A few hours later I received a price from a supposed manager $17000 above the Cars.com price. I responded that his price was way more then the Cars.com price and they should change that. I asked about availability and price on 2 other trucks. I never heard anything back from them. At the time of this review, the original truck that I inquired about is still listed on Cars.com $17000 below the quoted price. It has been over a week since this issue occurred.

    Tried to add more than 6k to the list price. Demanded more than 2k of unwanted add ons be kept in the new revised higher price. Tried typical tactics of claiming the price was actually higher but they're being nice and honoring their mistake. Typical delay tactics and fake employees talking up the product. Waste of time, I walked out.
