Waste of Time Bum Dealership
by 5’2 Scrappy-Doo from Albuquerque, NM | July 15, 2020Do you have time to waste for three days while these AWFUL finance manager claims he’s working the deal behind the scenes?? Then come on down to Quality...or should I say NO Quality Mazda! On a serious note, the car salesmen I spoke with are decent people. My issue is not with them but more or so the finance representative/manager. Charles and Pavel are slow slow SLOW workers. They aren’t there for the customers needs. I went in on a Tuesday to try and get a deal worked. Wednesday, Thursday and up to Friday morning, they sat around playing cat and mouse with me just giving the run around on “we’re working the deal...we’re trying to see what we can do...” blah blah blah. These guys don’t care about you as the customer. They only care about what’s jangling around in your pocket/purse. After the 2nd day of xxxxxxxx from these screw offs, I called it quits and walked away. They claimed where I wanted to be in numbers was impractical and not going to happen. Yet, I turned around that same day and got an incredible deal worked for the numbers I wanted at LHM Toyota! So this knucklehead lies through his teeth. BUYER BEWARE! Don’t be fooled by his booming voice and B rated smile. Not to mention when I snagged a picture of the VIN and ran the vehicle through car fax, the VIN description doesn’t match the Cars.com ad. After finding the supposed car fax I got from the dealership when I initially test drove the car. After looking at what document I was given, anyone with decent vision can clearly see that the car model has been altered to reflect something different on Cars.com than what’s on the true carfax. In the end, I’m glad that the deal fell through. I got a better 4Runner after this game of cat and mouse with a killer warranty and worked through a very kind gentleman who was actually working for his customer.

by kevin from ALBUQUERQUE | July 30, 2019Extremely dishonest and unethical dealer. Quoted a price on the internet that I confirmed 3 times. When the salesman, Brent brought back the paperwork the price was $6,000 more than we agreed. He blamed the sales manager for misleading him

by Zach L from Albuquerque, NM (LOMAS) | March 07, 2019Eric Garcia at Quality Mazda had an exceptional service with helping me buy my Mazda6. He knew everything he was talking about and made car buying easy because he did not rush, he took his time and was very friendly and patient. I appreciate the service he gave and I recommend Eric if anyone is interested in buying a car.

by chispas from ABQ, NM | October 11, 2018I had a horrible experience with this company. I was muscled into a deal by several used car associates. They fudged the numbered so that I would be "approved" for my loan with the bank of my choosing. They call me almost a month later to let me know that I was denied the loan and I had to sign a different contact with a higher interest rate. I was also have to pay an extra $4,000 for double coverage that their finance people said would only cost me $5 a month. My family was also forced to put me on an insurance policy, which does not comply with NM state law, costing them an extra $200 a month. These guys will lie to get you into a car that day and you will think you're getting a good deal when you haven't actually been approved. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY. They are not female friendly and they trick first time car buyers.
Customer Service Quality of Repair Buying Process Overall Facilities Shopped for a used carDoes Not recommend this dealer.Did Not purchase a vehicle.Inadequate service
by PRS from Albuquerque, NM | August 07, 2018The car dies, cranks but will not start and is taken to Quality Mazda to find problem. Quality Mazda states it is not a fuel issues (fuel pump replaced twice in two years), but it is electrical, they say the car needs new coils/wires/plugs. After having the car 3-days, they charge $70 to diagnose the problem and want an addition $620 to make repair as suggested, (invoice states that they preformed a 40 point check and found issues.) That’s way too excessive. I have the car brought home, purchase the parts for a total of $150 and spend all of 30 minutes making the replacements (15 minutes of which was searching for the plug puller.) Car is still dead, cranks but not starting, seems like a fuel issue, but fuel pump is working and there is no gasoline smell. There are also no codes reading. This is a 2003 Miata with 172,000 mile it is only worth around $1,000. It's not worth putting more money into her.

by Eric VH from Rio Rancho, NM | April 15, 2018There is a major problem with their service department and that is that while you can make an appointment, they won't keep it. It is always first come/first serve. No matter what you do they will tell you that you have to leave your car. I tried several times in several ways to find out how I could make an appointment that would allow me to wait while the car was serviced, and no matter how I phrased it I got the same answer. You have to leave your car all day. In fact, just to make it worse, they said I really should arrive at 7:00 a.m. if I wanted to make sure that my car was serviced that day. I live a far distance from Quality Mazda so I cannot do this unless I am willing to spend all day doing - well, I don't know what. And I have a problem that needs to be fixed. I made an appointment and did not find out until I drove all the way in to Albuquerque that they would not honor it. I made the appointment online. "Oh," I was told, "the online system will make an appointment whether or not there is someone available to work on your car." What? I have never heard of this. So be forewarned. Unless you can leave your car all day, their service department won't be any use to you. I will not be going there ever again, and it will make me think twice about buying a Mazda again. I may even trade this car in even though it is not a year old so I can buy something where the dealer has good service. My sister has a Toyota, and they have always serviced her car immediately even if she just drives in without an appointment.

by Mazda family4 from Albuquerque, NM | November 02, 2015Quality Mazda is a great Dealership. Ben Vigil, one of the sales specialists, welcomed me and answered all of my questions. He walked me through the entire purchase making sure I felt confident I made the right choice. Daniel, in the finance department, expedited our paperwork. I made for a great buying experience. Not only is the sales department great, but the service department is fantastic as well.

by Patricia from Albuquerque, NM | October 01, 2015Joe Manriquez and Ben Vigil went above and beyond to get my what I needed for my new car! I was in the market for a Mazda CX-5 and was on a set budget, After an initial visit to see what was on the lot, Joe called to follow up with us on pricing and different options we could work out. When I showed up to the dealership, Joe wasn't there, but Ben was able to call him and work with me to save me another trip. Ben did everything he could to get me into the car that I wanted. On the day I purchased the car Ben sat with me and gave me detailed instructions on how everything worked, went through the manual with me and even helped me set up my phone to the bluetooth system. He took the time to introduce me to the service workers so I knew who I would talk to about service and called to follow up a few days later. These guys are wonderful and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. As a matter of fact I already did, I sent my grandfather there and he purchased a car at Quality a few days later!
