    Buyer Beware
by Tom from East Meadow | July 17, 2020

Buyer Beware, Precision auto sales of NY. Purchased a used truck from this dealer. Not only had multiple mechanical issues from day one that went back and forth for months but they refused to take the vehicle back. The other issue is they promised me passenger plates and gave me passenger plates at the time of purchase. After my temp registration expired I contacted the DMV and an investigation was opened. The dealer failed to notify me that after three attempts they were unable to receive passenger plates and I had to get commercial plates or make significant modifications to the truck to achieve a passenger title. The NYS dealer should have owned up to their negligence to due their due diligence in selling a vehicle. After they stated it's my problem now and I'm stuck with this commercial vehicle. This forced me to buy another vehicle as the truck has had no registration for 11 months. The DMV investigation is ongoing but it's not in their legal power to make the dealer take the vehicle back. I also contacted the attorney general in Nassau and will continue to fight this. I've made multiple attempts to mediate the situation and even take a loss of money spent just to get this resolved but they are unwilling to work with anyone to resolve. I may need to sue for any outcome. Multiple red flags in this transaction and although I should have done my research I trusted a NYS licensed dealer but fell victim to fraudulent practices and false promises. Stay away from Precision Auto Sales of NY

    Curt, rude, unhelpful.
by Ryan from Long Island, NY | April 15, 2020

Their salesman told me that I was wasting his time for inquiring about a car! This was on a one minute phone call mind you. The email communication was painful enough, but sometimes things get lost in translation over email so I was hoping a phone call might improve things. Sadly not. Whether that was a poor attempt at a reverse psychology sales tactic or they simply hate their customers, this whole interaction was a reminder of why a lot of people have distrust for used cars dealers. Painful experience. Not worth your time and certainly not your money, stay away!

    Great Dealership!
by Kurt from Holbrook | March 07, 2020

Family run company of 50 years. Just bought a used low mileage BMW there. Very happy with it! Most cars on the lot were low mileage with great prices and warranties. As long as they're there, I'll keep going back. I highly recommend you check out the cars there.

    Don’t
by Chris from West Babylon NY | June 29, 2019

I will start by simply stating that this is only the second bad online review I have ever left. Rather than bore everyone with details, I will just advise you to not waste your time. Between false promises on pricing to broken promises of a rebate after lying about the monthly payment or the car now falling apart, they are not worth your time. On the bright side after the staff sells you a car, the owner Sal will curse you out if you have the slightest question. Stay away.

    Rear car given the milage
by Rahiem Storr from Mastic, NY | April 17, 2019

First let me start by saying don’t believe the reviews before me at least the negative ones because it almost stopped me from driving there. I just purchased a 2004 Expedition XLT with only 64,000. This is such a rear car to find with such low mileage. I bought the car at sticker price which is what my bank valued it at. The Owners son does the selling, he is very personable and made conversation the entire time. He was very interactive with my kids which they can be handful most of the time. He even gave them little car fax fixes which they loved and were actually pretty cute. The car runs amazing, he didn’t pressure me into buying anything and knew I meant business right away. He let me test drive the car in which I floored it multiple times to ensure there were no hidden issues. This dealership is amazing and I will purchase all of my used vehicles from them going forward. They really gave some gems on the lot. I found this car on Craigslist too. Thank you precision auto sales.

    Highly disappointed
by Your boy from the country from Rosedale, ny | April 12, 2019

They are the biggest rip-off car dealership in the world. They buy these cars at auctions knowing these cars have pre existing problems then sell them for 10x more than they are really worth. If you wanna get ripped off, by all means I recommend them but stay away if you want a good car for a good deal

    Did not honor repair
by AggrevatedDealer Lied from Long Island | April 03, 2019

Purchased a car, had problems day one, sent to to a mechanic on them, couldn't repair. Sent me to another mechanic an then refused to pay for repair. Car overheats after 2 to 300 miles. Had the car in the shop 4 times last summer 4 to 5 days at a time. Then very arrogant and lied. Nick told me they would pay for repair. Then when I went to get the car, he said he wasnt paying. $110 bill. I really would love to hear his side, because when I dropped the car off I told the mechanic what Nick said. Then Sal said he would split it with me. Would never buy another car let alone deal with them at all. Not the first car I have ever bought.
