    Unbelievable thieves

    I have purchased four jeeps from this dealership over the last ten years, and was a loyal customer until this week when I brought my jeep in because my rear tail light was not working. Palmer Dodge diagnosed the problem and determined that I needed a new rear tail light assembly, which they quoted as costing $751 to replace. I questioned this high amount, to which they responded that since I was such a loyal customer, they would do the job for $572, which was the best they could do. I declined their offer, and then found the replacement part online for $62, and replaced it myself in four minutes flat. These guys should be allowed to stay in business.

    0 stars because 1 is too much maybe. So far 2 bad experiences with them. 1. I had to deal with some Jeep transmission issues, where one of the guys told me to come back and someone will drive my car around to find out what the issue is. I offered to pay the $100 /hr fee and all that. The appointment was scheduled, and later I got a call back from them telling me to take it to another dealer because they won't do that.... 2. Last week I took it to update the Radio firmware version. I got back in my car and noticed that it's not the right version, called back and asked to talk to service manager. He assured me that it's the latest version, because he just put in my VIN and that's what it shows. Well guess what, it wasn't the latest version, they installed 17.x.x and available was 18.x.x which I had to do it on my own. Just to mention that they had the car 1 full day, and failed to do that. I wonder how many other customers are they lying without a blink of an eye. Take your car somewhere else.

    Dealership proudly flaunted that their prices didn't include dealer/documentation fees, they don't care if it's against the law. The manager was rude and aggressive. They tried to overcharge for tax and when called out on it, adjusted the vehicles price up to compensate.

    They don't seem to want more business

    It's like this dealership doesn't want people's money. It's bizarre! I have purchased a vehicle here and have taken vehicles in for service for a number of years. But for the second time now over the past six months, I have tried to schedule something with their service department and been told that they are "so slammed" that I will have to leave my vehicle for up to three days! Both times I tried to get service it was for something pretty easy. The latest request was to have them check a problem with my automatic passenger side mirror on my Ram 1500. I tried to explain that to the service guy on the phone and that I was fine scheduling something so that I could just wait for it. He told me, pretty aggressively, "look, man, it doesn't matter whether you schedule or not. We are so busy that even if you are on the schedule you'll have to leave the vehicle here for at least one but probably three days." Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that why you schedule a service appointment rather than just drop off the vehicle unannounced? So that you can get the service done during your "scheduled" time? It was rude and frustrating and, frankly, if they don't want my money or have any desire to help their customers, I'll take my business elsewhere. In fact, I hung up, called Troncalli (which isn't as close), but their service department was polite and professional and the service advisor scheduled an appointment for me with no problems or drama. He also told me that it wouldn't take long and waiting for the vehicle would be no problem. THAT is how you run a service department and how you treat customers!

    Took in to fix light coming on re: Anti-lock brakes and Traction control. Didn't realize it was still under warranty, but was informed it was. They also identified a problem with the battery and replaced it under warranty as well. Parts were not in stock, so I was given a loaner at no charge. Also had some 30,000 mile maintenance done on the car. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.

    I SPENT A FEW MONTHS TRYING TO FIND A SOLUTION TO MY TOP MALFUNCTION THEN I WENT TO PALMER DODGE AND SPOKE WITH WINSTON ANDERSON AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. HE DID A GREAT JOB AT DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM. HIS SERVICE TEAM FIXED THE PROBLEM TO MY COMPLETE SATISFACTION. I WILL TELL OTHERS ABOUT THE GREAT WORK AND SUGGEST THAT THEY GO SEE WINSTON FOR ANY SERVICE ISSUES.

    Took in my '09 Dodge truck with the AC not working. Had 2 other places look at it and could not find the problem. Luis got me in quickly, had the issue diagnosed, quoted price and vehicle fixed within 2 days. Luis was GREAT! He showed me respect and kept me informed during the process. I will make Palmer Dodge MY place to carry my truck and two Jeeps in the future. Keep up the great work!!

    First class facility. The service team is extremely knowledgeable. From intake, through the service techs. I especially like the frequent updates via text while waiting in the comfortable seating area.
