    Novak took all the stress out of buying a car

    When I arrived I was drying tears from a bad experience at a big name dealership where a salesman held our drivers license and we were there for 5 hours. Novak had us in the door and out with our new car in 90 minutes! Our Salesman Ed made the process so fast and easy, and Rene in financing was awesome as well. GO see them!

    Bailey Crego , was not a nice salesperson. We were texting back and forth until he texted me this "Ma`am every vehicle you have been interested in in our lot has been overpriced. Why do you keep looking at our vehicles?" I was insult by his comment. I ask him to stop texting.

    Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!

    BUYER BEWARE - I cash purchased a Honda Ridgeline on Monday 8/26/19. An unfortunate incident two hours after purchase resulted in a dented front bumper/fender which I took to a highly reputable local repair shop for an estimate. I agreed to their estimate and took to their shop for repair eight days later, on Tuesday 9/3. The incoming inspection (which all repair shops perform) revealed previous damage that had been poorly repaired but was good enough to fool my untrained eye at the time of my purchase.The CARFAX NOVAK provided (which I trusted) reported NO ACCIDENTS and NO REPAIRS. Having just purchased the vehicle just 8 days prior, the repair shop recommended I return the truck to NOVAK for remedial/corrective action, which I did immediately. Neither the salesman, nor the "manager" he summoned would even look at the damaged area on the truck that was present at the time of sale - even though it was clearly highlighted in bright pink marker on the vehicle the repair shop had done 20 minutes earlier. Needless to say, they disavowed any responsibility and refused to discuss any compensation - which I'm now paying the repair shop $2700 to repair. Bottom line - 1) These guys know they sold me a damaged vehicle. Not a major problem but over time the shoddy repair would have deteriorated and been a more significant cosmetic and possible structural problem. 2) Beware CARFAX! it only reports "Problems Reported to CARFAX". Repairs who folks who bypass insurance and pay for themselves ARE NOT REPORTED TO CARFAX. They don't show up on the report you get. 3) This is MY LESSON LEARNED and I just wanted to give you folks aheads up about how NOVAK operates.

    Outstanding buying experience. David and Renee did everything they said they would do and there were no surprises. I got a great one owner Jeep in great condition with low miles for a good price and fair deal on my trade in. No haggling! What more could you ask for? All their cars are one owner lease returns with low miles. You get a like new vehicle without taking the depreciation hit of actually buying a new vehicle. Both David and Renee are Veterans so go by and thank them for their service to our great country and let them sell you a nice car. You won't be sorry!

    The salesman was nice and the car was ok. Except for a long scratch going down the side that we couldn’t see in pics online. We get its a used car but would’ve been nice to have seen before we made the 4.5 hr drive. On to the financing process. Everything was great Rene was pleasant. Until we decided we didn’t want to purchase the extended warranty and gap warranty. Went from pleasant to pushy. Went back and forth a little longer than we would’ve liked. Finished up the paperwork. Said I had stuff to do on my end that needed to be done the next Monday. Got the car back from being detailed. They washed the outside of the car but didn’t touch the inside. I emailed him our insurance info with new car on it and tax assessment, 3/4/19 @ 12:39. On 3/4/19 @ 12:48 he send back “Thank you.”. 3/11/19 our old financing company with the car we traded in takes out another payment. I call Rene and ask him about it. He said he took care of it 3/4/19, the Monday after we bought our new car. Paid off the car we traded in and it takes about 15 or so days for it all to process. Couple weeks later he calls my husband. “Hey, did y’all ever send me the paperwork I needed y’all to get (insurance and tax assessment)” my husband said yes. “oh, well I never got it”. You replied thank you to the email, but I’ll send it again. Husband asked about payment our old financing company took out and if novak paid off the car. “Ohh the guy who does that was on vacation but now he’s back so we’re working on it now.” You told me, you got it done and it takes days for it to go through. Then tell my husband it’s just now getting worked on, weeks later. Sent new email with info and don’t get a reply back. So we called and asked if he got it “yeah, thanks”. Now with 2 days before our temporary tags expire we’re waiting on our license plate to get here. They said since we were from out of state they had to get the sales tax from us and they’ll send us our license plate. Paid the sales tax 3/1/19 to them. I emailed Rene 4/10/19 @ 7:40 am asking when we should be receiving the plate. No reply. Emailed them through the website, contact us, same day around 3. No reply. I had to call the next day. He said we’ll definitely receive our license plate on time and that he’ll overnight them to us. Hopefully that gets done tomorrow or the cars gonna have to be parked in the driveway. Which will be a problem for us because we have work and school to get to. I contacted them with enough time to ensure we get our tags on time. And we’re still cutting it close. I for one can not wait to get my plates then we’ll be done with them. We will not be a returning customer and We will not be recommending them to anyone. We were unfortunately not as lucky as the other reviewers giving 5 Stars. It would’ve been nice not to be so stressed and worried about stuff they should’ve had done. I told my husband the other day we have never had as much problems with a dealership as we have had with Novak Motors. Actually we’ve had no problems in the past with the 3 other dealerships we’ve dealt with. This dealership is no different from any other dealership. The lie, tell you what you want to hear, try to swindle you out of more money, give you the run around, etc. This is my experience with them. If you decide to work with them I truly hope you have a better one.

    Strong knowledge about Jeep Grand Cherokees

    I was planning to buy a Grand Cherokee and was lucky to stop here first. The sales guy, Charlie, educated me on differences between models and all of the available options. He knew them inside and out. I didn’t end up buying here because they didn’t have a color I wanted but I highly recommend them. No/low haggle pricing and no sales commission makes it a friendly environment to buy also.

    I worked with Mike who helped me find a new car that I love! I cannot say enough good things about these guys; they were nice, knowledgable, NOT pushy at all and made my car buying experience enjoyable. I am a female in her 30's and this process can be a little intimidating. After shopping around a little, there was no doubt in my mind that I would buy from Novak Motors. And when the time comes, I will go to them again for the next car.
