    I had the pleasure of meeting a young gentleman named Jake at North Star Buick and GMC. Let me begin to tell you he is very attentive and set my mind at ease that they actually know what they're doing there. Didn't try to sell me more than what I needed. That's just unheard of! But then kept in contact with me the whole time made sure I understood what they found and repaired it we're as in the other Buick dealership had missed. Literally save my vehicle and repaired it with no argument. As matter of fact left me with a smile bigger than any other dealerships I've ever been to. I will purchase another car and this will be the dealership for me!

    I get my truck serviced there and only there and Jake and the techs take care of me and they point any issue on my truck or tell me when I'm due for routine maintenance.

    Avoid This Dealership at All Costs!

    I have been a customer of this dealership for years. In July, I purchased a "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle from them. My salesman was Aaron, who was very nice at the time. Part of the process was my request for them to continue to pick-up my vehicle when it needed service. He checked with his manager, and said that they would continue to do that. The first time it needed service, they called 2 hours before my appointment time and said that they would not pick up my vehicle any more. It was part of our deal, and they failed to live up to that. Aaron claims that he called and texted me a day after the sale and said that they would no be able to provide that service. He claims to have left a message on my answering machine. There was no message on my machine, nor did I get any text from him. The fact that he claims to have left a message/text, proves that he knew that it was part of the deal. I then made arrangements to take the vehicle to a Buick dealership much closer to my home. I shared with them about the issues that I was having with the vehicle and that I had the "Certified Pre-Owned Bumper to Bumper Warranty". The rear brakes had started making noise on the first trip (within the first 300 miles). There was also an issue with the ambient interior lighting. When I got my vehicle back from repairs, the dealership told me that the rear brake pads were frozen in the calipers and had ruined the rotors and that there were also issues with the power steering. The total bill was over $2400. Fortunately much of that was covered by the warranty, but It still cost me over $800 out of my pocket. Obviously, I think Northstar Buick GMC's "Certified Pre-Owned" designation is a joke. To have to spend that much money so soon after purchase is unthinkable. I think that failure to live up to their agreement coupled with all of the mechanical issues is poor and questionable business practices. I will not go back to this dealership again! Hopefully other potential customers will learn from my experience and act accordingly.

    I like when you walk into a business and they acknowledge you even when they are with other customers. Jake couldn’t have been nicer. Really like how they brought the paper work to you and gave you individual attention. Cashier was friendly, Jake even walks you to cashier. Salesman who sold me car was great. Don’t think I would go anywhere else

    We were 5 hours from home and needed new brakes and rotors. Their team could not have been more accommodating and helpful. No waiting and got us back on the road quickly. Always nervous when dealing with someone for the first time but, no worries at Northstar

    This dealership worked with and for me from the moment I stepped on the lot. Everyone at the dealership was genuine and personable. I could tell they wanted to send me home in a new vehicle as much as I wanted to be in one. I drove 45 minutes to NorthStar and will make that trip again, for my next SUV!
