***xxxxxxx Dealership, you have been warned!***
by Grant from Winter Park, Florida | September 29, 2020

**Attention xxxxxxx Dealership** Montrose Ford in Fairlawn, Ohio I saw this 2020 GT500 listed on eBay for sale and contacted Daniel Russell “Sales Manager” after a little back and forth talk we came to a deal on a price and they pulled the listing down as you can see in the photo. They sent me the credit app as you can see in my email, they then ran my credit and got it approved through Ford with a Mike Patton in their finance department. Just a normal deal as many of my other car purchases, “well, so I thought.” I was supposed to get the paperwork in the mail on Thursday or Friday and didn’t show up, so I called the dealership and texted Daniel asking where is my paperwork as you can see in the text screen shot. After some waiting I get a text saying the original guy that ordered it wants it now, I’m like I don’t care, what does that have to do with me? We made a deal! (As you can see in my screen shot) Pissed off, I call the “GM Joe Dyer” who is trying to screw me out of the deal and asked what is up? I told him I made a deal with Daniel, you ran my credit, got it approved and now you are snaking the car out from underneath me? He just said yes! What the actual F! Am I wrong here thinking they can just snake a car away after the deal was made and they ran my credit under false pretenses apparently just to take the car and sell it to someone else? The deal was literally done with me already! I was paying 17k over sticker as it is, I think they were offered more without telling me, that’s the only thing that makes sense from the people I have talked to. I’m going to find out what recourse I have because this is just wrong and bad business! Joe Dyer “the GM” said “well, we like to have back up buyers” why the xxxx would I have them run my credit to be a back up buyer, that the dumbest crap I have ever heard!

So I was looking for an insane powered Roush truck
by Rigoberto Ramirez from Buckhannon, WV | August 25, 2020

I was in the market for a fun Roush F-150 truck with insane horsepower. I was not disappointed. I first found Montrose Ford on Ebay. They had the best prices and selection of all the national Roush dealers. So I checked out their website and found some trucks that interested me. I read most of the good reviews, and weighed the very few bad ones (the ones with poor grammer sic.). I messaged the dealership, and was greeted by Alex, who invited me up to take a look. I looked down the rows of Roush fossil fueled rocket-powered cars and trucks and found the one for me. These things are so fast they make time turn backwards. It was a great experience, smooth sale, super friendly staff, Alex, Will and Mike. Covid rules applied, and I drove happily home with my new Roush time-machine. Funny thing, the 250 mile trip, it took me 4 hours to get there, but only 2 to get home.

Went to Montrose Ford looking for a good deal and with Alex I got just that.. Picked out a great Mustang and love the car.. Alex was extremely helpful and was not pushy at all.. Third time, over the years, I've bought from Montrose.. and have never been disappointed.

They sold me a totaled truck
by David s from Norton, OH | April 13, 2020

They sold me a totaled truck!! February 2019, they sold me a truck that was at a retail price with a clean title, I was not informed of any red flags or damage history, (Wouldn’t of considered buying the truck If I seen the history.) Come to find out the truck was rolled, and totaled out, then sold at a auto recycler for parts, out of state back in 2010. The state it was repaired in, then inspected the truck and issued a clean title in Missouri. Found out about history due to trying to trade the truck. Keep in mind the truck books for my payoff in fair condition. so I attempt to trade the truck. They inform me the history I stated above about the truck and offered a fraction of the fair trade in. That Does not sound like the Montrose promise. now I’ve been trying to get documentation that was made aware of accident history. Went to the dealership Saturday 3/14, salesman kept beating around the bush on acquiring paper work I wanted copy’s of. Today 3/16, got a call from the manager but was unable to answer the phone due to work. Called back on my lunch break but had to leave a message because the manager was on lunch 10 minutes till 1pm. Did not receive a call back by the time I got off work. So I go down to the store when I get off work to see what could be done. As I walk in I was not greeted when I walked into the show room. Had to approach the same salesman I dealt with on 3/14/20. Was informed it would take 3-5 days to get said documents. 3/20/20 told they are short staffed and couldn’t get the paper work. Now I feel like I’m not getting anywhere. Won’t offer fair trade in value on their “clean title” truck. What a promise you have gave montrose ford of Akron. Currently waiting for this issue to be resolved 3/30 manager called me back, now waiting to see what can be down about this situation. Willing to re-track my review if made right.

    Giving them a 2nd chance
by Sherri L. Meinke from Medina, Ohio | March 19, 2020

I purchased a new vehicle at this dealership in 1995 and it was a horrible experience. I was hesitant to try them again but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I was looking for a late-model used F150 or a new one depending on cost and features. After putting a deposit on a used vehicle and sleeping on it, changed our mind to a new one and they located it for us. The dealership is clean and they worked hard to regain my business. I cannot say enough good things about Renee Serino our salesperson. She was professional and worked hard to earn our business. She was knowledgeable and went the extra mile. The Dealership has upgraded their location since 1995 and is trying hard to earn the trust of consumers like myself.

    Highly Disappointing
by Michael from Cleveland, Ohio | February 14, 2020

I have not been to a car dealership in quite some time. Montrose Ford reminded me why that was. I have been in sales for 30 years and can not imagine treating my customers as rudely and unprofessional as management treated me. I would of given them one star over all, but the salesman was nice and very helpful Geraldo must not be as honest as I thought he was.

    Outstanding Service!
by Eric from Hinckley, OH | November 15, 2019

Stunned by excellence! I had a bad experience with the "other" Ford dealership in Brunswick, so I chose here. I came for the "Works" service and did not expect more than what was in this package. When I picked up my 2015 Ford F-150, it was like new! The interior was groomed to a level of new truck! The exterior appeared to be washed, and the rims had been touched up as well. The floor paper for the driver side...I may leave because the interior is immaculate and I do not want to soil the fine job. All polished, wiped down, the door pockets cleaned, console clean, windshield and windows cleaned inside and out, vacuumed, polished, etc. Can not say enough good things about this experience!! Received a multi-page "medical" report about upcoming services that should be addressed. I will be coming back! Thanks ROUSH!

    Bad experience
by truck shopper from Medina, Oh | November 05, 2019

Considering an F150 but had not even driven one yet. The salesman brought p one up to drive but had to constantly check with his manager. I have a points free licence but since I am a senior they questioned whether there were any driving problems . After I took the test drive and determined that particular truck was not the one I wanted the salesman again had to get the sales manager Who questioned why I drove it if I was not going to buy it. The experience made me think of the 1960s when it was common practice for car salesmen having to get their disagreeable manager who would demand more from the customer. Not a friendly place. A terrible experience.

    Beware of continuous price increases
by Jen from Brecksville | June 06, 2019

The service facilities and waiting area are clean and up to date; everyone is quite friendly and will answer any questions you have. Beware of price increases, the website quotes one price for testing and I have the EZCare product that didn't "cover" the work needed. The actual testing cost was twice what the website quoted during online appointment and ended up paying 4 times more than what was originally intended.
