    Terrible Service

    I am not sure I can list all the issues we have experienced. We bought two cars from here, but the trouble is completely within the service department. On Saturday we brought my car in, but we were told it was perfectly fine and to pick it up. As soon as we did, it continued to have the same problems, so we had to bring it back and drop it off (after hours). I specifically said to contact me and not to begin work (only diagnose the issue). This morning I am quote $622 for issues, shocking not covered under warranty, and now there were suddenly codes that they couldn't find Saturday (although they claim to have tested it twice). The car shakes so bad that it's amazing they said it was ok to drive, and another reputable mechanic said they can replace the spark plus and ignition switch for $380. The parts only cost me $154 total, though Apple Valley said they would be $260. Our other car required a solenoid. They quoted $800. Actual cost was just around $100. I am well aware dealers are a little inflated, but this is extreme. Other issues include them forgetting to put on the inspection sticker, not checking wheel weights (and then telling me it was my tire pressue, when funny, Onstar gives me my tire pressure on request), they refused to fix a seat and radio for months until suddenly it was out of warranty and then wanted to charge over $1000 to fix (after complaining and showing proof I tried to have it fixed on multiple occasions, they fixed it without charging me $1000). One day I came for an oil change and they literally forgot I was there and admitted it when I went to question why it had taken two hours. I was also told by the new service manager that he was specifically brought in to correct all of the issues that had plagued the service department. He said that he was sorry for our poor experience, but he was going to make sure that didn't happen again. Imagine my surprise when 1. many of these issues happened on his watch and 2. after speaking to others I discovered that the previous service manager was not fired and the new one was simply hired when the other left. So, not a good start to outright lie, especially when telling me how you are going to fix the untruths from others. All I ask is for good service and for honesty. Do not treat me like I am stupid because I am female. If you are going to do something, follow through. Do not call me "problematic" (yes, Paul the manager said that) because I question the service (or lack thereof) provided. In the past I have recommended the company, I bought two cars here, and until this weekend, I probably would have continued.

    Talked to Jen by text for two days,said the car was in being detailed,would be ready for me to look at,drive 1 1/2 hours,the guy pull the legacy up,the car had never been touched,bright red wax in console,carpet,and seats were disgusting,the trash from the person that traded it in was still in the car.when I asked him about the scuffs and scratches all over the car,he said keep in mind it’s just a 9,000 used car,to him maybe,but after financing it would’ve been 12,000 plus,complete waste of time.

    Was a Great buying experience. Sales Associate was well informed about he product he was selling. Especially since he was 19 yrs old and it was only this second week in the position. He did a very good job at not being pushy and sold his product. Also the over all dealer (Apple Valley Chev/Toyota) seem very well organized and was very friendly. I felt like I had control of the buying experience, I have been at other dealers in the past that make you feel like you have no control even though you are the consumer. I would buy another car from this Dealer and most likely will in the future. What other dealer literally walks you through the facility and shows you where all the service takes place and how to make your "free" service appts( 2yr worth of free main, from Toyota). I was really impressed because they made you feel like they really wanted you to come back. they did not want to just sell you a vehicle and get you on your way.. The Financing was also a breezy...I wanted to use my credit union and they were all for that ..filled out all the paper work and they let me take the car that evening on a promissory note. Wow what other dealer lets you do that??? Brought them the check he next day and the deal was done. Thanks Apply Valley Chev/Toyota
