    Service Visit for oil change
by joyce e bridges from kansas city | October 08, 2020

Service advisor, John Barnhill, was very helpful and courteous. Was also happy to hear that McCarthy kept almost all of the O'Neill Honda employees. I have been dealing with these people since 2007. I purchased a vehicle in July 2019 from O'Neill Honda.

Excellent service, support and guidance at Honda
by Gina Tomes from LaVista, Nebraska | April 27, 2020

I was not planning on needing a car until I received the news my current vehicle was not repairable. Being uncertain of my options and wanting/needing to stick to my budget, I could not be happier. I received the most incredible, fair deal, I could have never imagined. Ryan Maher was an amazing, honest representative filled with integrity and concern. I will NEVER shop for a vehicle anywhere else again. I will refer all family members and friends to this dealership.

Title problems - unresponsive to request for help
by Reid-Car Buyer from Overland Park, Ks | February 08, 2019

On December 28, 2018 my wife and I purchased a certified 2016 Honda CR-V from O'Neill Honda. We wrote a check for the amount of the purchase plus the sales tax. The check hit our account a few days later and was paid by the bank. At the time of purchase we were told the title and related info would be sent to us by certified mail within two weeks of the purchase date. We were not concerned about the title and waited well past the two week period. In early February I made a phone call about the missing title. The call was not returned. I made a second phone call which also was not returned. On February 7th I drove to the dealer. explained the situation, and asked for the title. After about 20 minutes the title was brought to me. The only explanation given was that the dealership had some staff changes and they were just to busy to get the title mailed out.

    Do not recommend!
by Na from Overland Park Kansas | June 09, 2018

I recently bought a vehicle from O’Neill Honda (used). I was extremely excited but that quickly came to an end. I felt rushed and like they really only cared about making the sale. I asked a few questions and received false answers. When I was doing my payment paperwork: 1) they showed me someone else’s credit score. When I asked about it they tried to act like that was normal 2) they tried to sign me up for a warranty that they said would be $200 and it was actually $1500. When I asked about this the finance guy literally said “I don’t know why it’s 1500. I thought it was 200”. I politely let him know that he needed to remove it and if I hadn’t been combing my paperwork with a fine tooth comb I would have missed it. It was awful!!!!! They were rushing so much with several mistakes but luckily I checked every single word I was signing. I’ve only named a few of the issues but there were several!!! Fast forward. I have had the car 30 days. The car alarm goes off EVERY SINGLE TIME I use the key fob to lock it. I called them and they said “sorry we didn’t know it did that. Nothing we can do now. Good luck”. Also, the engine light is on and needs the cam shaft fixed. I thought O’Neill Honda (used) was reputable but it appears they’re just another slimy used car dealership. I was really trying to avoid that. Beware.

Guess they didn't want the business :(
by guy from Smithville from Smithville MO | August 08, 2017

Stopped in to look at a vehicle we had seen on cars.com. Drive 35 minutes to shop here. Salesperson came up to tell us the vehicle was sold. Then promptly turned around without even asking if he could help us with another vehicle, what we were looking for, or anything. We are very much in the market and will be making a purchase within the next week. I guess just not at this dealership.

    Terrible Online Sales!
by Not Impressed from Kansas City, Kansas | May 18, 2017

I had a terrible experience with the online sales department. They just were trying to make me come in and I wanted more information I live over 2 hours away I'm not just running up there just to look at something I might be interested in. Finally got the VIN however they sent the wrong one. They tired to inform me that the vehicle they sent had everything I wanted. I had to convince them they sent me the wrong one. Then they sent me the right information but would not apologize. I told them I wasn't impressed with their customer service and would look into another dealership and they STILL did not apologize. Rude! I wouldn't do business there.

If you want to feel bad
by James Sola from Kansas City Missouri | March 08, 2017

Spent several days trying to buy a used car. Requested best price from online. Found out they want full price and will not move. Really felt like I was an inconvenience or a bother. Almost paid full price and decided never to shop with Oneill Honda again. Buyers, please do your home work on the value of your trade and the cost of what your buying. Don't get pressured to pay full price. A customer should feel good about their car deal.
