by new2Kia from Peoria, AZ | August 10, 2012I purchased my 2013 Optima from Mark Kia in Scottsdale at the end of July, I have had it 13 days and LOVE IT!!! Matty, the Costco Sales Mgr @ the dealership was calling me when I still on the phone with Costco - excellent initial response time! We chatted for a bit, and he told me that he had the car I was interested in; we made an appt for the very next morning, Saturday. When I arrived, my car was waiting for me. The metal bronze color is simply beautiful. Then Ron took me for a test drive on Scottsdale Road and the 202. It was nice to just drive and get a feel for the steering, brakes, maneuvering, etc. The cost of the car was a no-brainer because I was a Costo member - something that Mark Kia respects and actively speaks to. You know they value their relationship with Costco and want to provide excellent service. The APR that Chuck offerred me based on my creditworthiness was .5% better than the financing I had already lined up with my employer - and THAT price was already ridiculously low. The entire process start to finish was one of the best major purchase experiences I have had, and I've had many! I would highly recommend that you speak with Matty or Ron, and with Chuck who is one of the finance managers. The Kia itself is simply awesome. The bells and whistles on this car which are standard with Kia cost you extra money with other manufacturers. My vehicle already had the convenience mirror and I programmed the garage door opener and phone with some help from friends. These are such nice features to have...AND the seat is really nice. I am used to a sport car feel with strong lumbar support and high back support. This car has just that. The seat positions seem limitless and it's SO comfortable!!!!! Overall, an excellent car choice with a good dealership. Oh, one last thing......I thought the tires looked low last week and the service dept gave me and appt the next morning before work. They looked everything over - nothing was wrong - and then hand washed my car before I left. Let me tell ya, THAT was a really nice touch!!!!!

I was there 4 hours and was the only customer there. I like the car but think I would have got a better deal with some more patience and shopping around on my end. They also really press you to buy the needless extended warranty. I settled for too little on my trade as well, my fault but in the long run it will cost them as I would not buy another car there.
