Not the car I was looking for.

by dadjeff from Phoenix AZ | May 24, 2018I wasted several hours trying to get a reasonable number at a central Phoenix dealer (not Lunde). The internet price of the car we wanted was $15,138. Their first offer was full list price of $21,000 and change. When I pointed out the internet price, they said that was only for first responders and military (there is nothing to that effect on their website). They did offer to drop the price to $16,138, which I was supposed to regard as a bargain at $1,000 over their advertised price. That offer was a "one day only" number, which was again patently untrue. At that point there was no number that would sell me a car at this dealership, so I started checking online and found three other dealers. Only Lunde was willing to deal with me by email and offered a price that was under any "out the door" price I saw, did the paper work before I arrived, and we were done with formalities in 15 minutes. Lunde is an hour away from my home and work, but I would never buy a VW anywhere else, and only wish they sold more brands of cars. I have been buying cars for 40 years and have never felt more satisfied with a dealership purchase.

He was both friendly and helpful. The buying experience was one of the easiest we have had buying a car. The car was priced right and they offered us a fair amount for our trade. The paperwork was quick and easy, and we were on our way in a short amount of time. Jack took the time to explain to us how their maintenance department works, along with how to set up our phone and how to use the neat features in the car. He really knows VW's! Excellent guy! Absolutely the BEST experience we have ever had at a dealership!

From the very beginning, my husband called and immediately wanted to come down to shake hands with the woman who answered the phone, Bennett, the sweetest woman! Our salesman, Brandon Olson, was very knowledgeable and wasn’t pushy in any way. Rick was very kind and made sure we were comfortable with everything they were offering before he agreed to anything, again - not pushy at all. The finance guy was also wonderful, we were in his office for maybe 20 minutes max. and made sure were understood all the extras we could add. Once all the paperwork was signed, Brandon showed us everything inside the car so we knew how to control everything. I would highly recommend buying from Lundes and will definitely be back next time we need a new vehicle!

Pushy sales people and price bantering are not my idea of a fun afternoon. Surprisingly we found non of this while we were at your car lot. The salesman that greeted us answered our questions very succinctly but without the normal pressure you can sometimes get. There wasn't the usual, "Well, what can we get you into today?" attitude shown by any of the staff we spoke to during our visit. We ended up purchasing a 2017 Tiguan and even that process was simple and easy. We were shown the price along with the discounts and other costs. We could then choose our downpayment and how long to pay etc Never at any part of the process did we feel rushed or pushed or felt that there were going to be hidden fees that would show up at the end. I will definitely recommend Lunde's Peoria Volkswagen to all my friends

I was referred by my friend to go to Peoria VW. Not only was understanding, respect and empathy portrayed, Peoria VW gave you a bargain as well as knowledge of just what you would be receiving without trying to deceive. Their patience held strong while explaining certain information and not making you feel like a dunce.
