    Happy Owner
by EdTelluride from Henderson. NV | September 03, 2020

Omari was very Courteous and helpful finding us a car we wanted and work with us the final numbers before we drove 6 hours from Vegas to the dealership location. We ended up buying the car from them and the whole buying process went smooth and quick. Thank you Omari and Kia Downtown LA.

    Horrible experience
by Sue Sawicki from La Crescenta, CA | August 23, 2020

Terrible experience. The first salesman, Raymon, was rude, lied, and did everything but call me a liar, when I quoted back what he had told me. When it came time to buy the car, he raised the price $2,000 and told me the car was no longer available at the previously price quotes, 4 hrs. earlier. Stated that deal was good for "that minute only". I left. A different mgr. called and apologized, said he would honor the deal if I would come back. Begrudgingly, I went back. Things went pretty smooth until I handed over $23,000 cash as the down payment. Once that money was counted and put in the safe. the sales/mgr. left. No one showed me any thing about how any features work, not even the remote to get in the car. Never have I been treated this way when buying a car. I love my Telluride S, but I would NEVER recommend this dealership.

    Liars and scammers
by Ni from Los Angeles | November 27, 2019

I got a car from kia 2 months ago and after 2 months they said the bank did not want the deal anymore to finance my car and promised me my down payment back.and then turned around and said it was over 1500 dollars worth of damages on the car so I was left with no money and no car bad business they let you leave with a car before finalizing everything then take it back..don't do business with them..

My Tale of Woe, DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS DEALER
by Meghan G from Los Angeles, CA | November 19, 2019

My Story of Woe Do NOT patronize Kia of DTLA So, my story begins in April of 2019. I decided to buy the first car which is truly mine with my husband. We went to Kia of DTLA because I had done extensive research and really wanted the Kia Nero. The first thing I noticed is that the dealership is pretty run down, not well maintained at all. It’s not in a bad area really either so I was a bit surprised. Oh well, I’m not there for an interior designer I’m there to buy a car. I was frustrated because the salesman pretty much ignored me the whole time, even though I was the one to be using the car primarily. He directed most queries and all respect to my husband. Having been a woman who worked on cars, this feeling wasn’t new to me. I asserted myself and went along. We bought extras like extended maintenance and warranty (which were both HEAVILY misrepresented by the sales and finance team, in and of itself criminal). We were ideal clients. The car was everything I wanted. I was so excited. We decided to buy it. It took SO long for them to finish writing us up, we were there until an ungodly hour the following morning. I had been through a similar situation with another car dealership when accompanying my friend so I thought maybe this is just how it works on the sales side of cars. We take the car home and I baby it, taking great care and pride in my new car. Fast forward to early October. The car has shy of 10k miles on it at this point. Running well. Everything seems fine. I get in my car one morning to drive the short way to work, and the check engine light comes on. I check all of the dumb things that can often trigger the light (ie gas cap) and none of those are the culprit. Well, I say, the car is due for scheduled maintenance anyway so I’ll just bring it in right now and be late to work. I drop the car off with a lovely human being named Adrian. He had helped me before and he is the best and frankly (as I’d find out later) only good quality of this place. I let him know what’s going on and go on my merry way via uber after stopping at the office supply store because I have little self control when it comes to buying fancy office products. Then things start to go sideways. I ask Adrian if my car is ready, he said the technicians are having trouble solving the check engine light issue. After much discussion and a few days he arranges for a rental car for me, and assures it will be free of charge. There are an extreme amount of issues and trips to and from Enterprise by Uber as Kia assures me they’ve set it up, and I arrive with no record of any rental being arranged. This happens several times, but eventually I get the friggin’ car. So, I happily (ish) drive this rental car around for more than a month. Then, I go to balance my accounting for my family budget and lo and behold, I’ve been charged a large amount from Enterprise. I immediately call and text Adrian. He’s as surprised as I am. We both call everyone either of us can think of to get it fixed. Adrian receives “Yes we will get it sorted” and so do I. At the time of writing this review, it has been 2 calendar weeks that I’ve been paying for this stupid rental car. Every day I check in with the service department, Adrian, and even Kia corporate. I’m promised call backs. I never get one. In summation, do not go here, do not trust anything they tell you. Even if your service advisor is amazing as mine is, the owners do not support their staff and they will not be able to help you. They are scammers, straight through. They sold me a car that likely wasn't even safe to be driven from day one, and won’t own up to their mistakes. When you lawyer up, as is your right, they stop cooperating at all, stonewalling and blaming you for trying to call on Lemon Law to get your money back. If you want a Kia, drive to another dealer. But don’t buy a kia with the same engine as the Nero for at least a little while, or you’ll end up like me. Paying thousands out of pocket

    Horrible experience
by Edgar Ivan from Los Angeles | April 06, 2019

Horrible buying experience. They lie and literally force you to buy their cilajet protection and then they refuse to apply it by saying they are too busy. Currently exploring options to force them to either apply the cilajet or return our money. The sales advisor simply stopped replying to our messages. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS PLACE

    Bounced Payoff Check
by Chris S McKenna from Moorpark, california | January 28, 2019

I would not buy a car from this dealer. They do not hold to thier end of the deal. I bought a car on black Friday weekend. They bounced the check to pay off my previous car. Now I am threatened with collections and repo of the old car. I called the dealer and they are not helpful at all to resolve the issue. They will lie to you. They will cheat you. I would not recommend this dealer for any business unless you like being ripped off. They are swindlers and you are better served going to another dealer and not buying a Kia.

Martin and the crew were the best!
by Brittany from Los Angeles, CA | February 27, 2018

I walked in on the recommendation of a friend and truthfully did not expect to leave with anything but a status report. But a hamster dance, some ice cream, and a quick test drive later, Martin was able to answer my questions and work with me to drive away in a brand new Kia Soul! I'm still processing this; the fact that I have a brand new car and how Chris the financial advisor was able to work with me to finance the lease. The entire crew was top notch and I'm forever grateful to them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
