    Worst Customer Service Experience Ever Seen

    I got a call from their services department a few days after they completed an electrical repair on my car. They told me that additional parts had come in that they needed to install to complete the job. They made no mention to me when I picked up my car the first time that the job was incomplete, and they didn't know there were parts uninstalled until they arrived in the mail (red flag 1). I left my car with them for the day, and asked for a pickup at 5:30PM that evening, which they agreed to. The called me at 4PM to confirm the 5:30 pickup, which I appreciated. Between 5:30 and 5:55 (when I was actually picked up) I had to call twice to inquire about my ride (as I'm standing on the street in 27 degree weather). They tell me he'll be there soon, but offer no concern for the delay that it's caused and are not proactive with me in communicating the delay (red flag 2). I get in the car and the driver has no idea how to get back to the dealership. He drives 10 minutes out of his way until I stop him and tell him to follow my instructions to get to his dealership (red flag 3). What should have been completed in 10 minutes took 50 minutes of my time. In return, they told me they'd give me 15% off my next service (red flag 4). Why would I ever return to their overpriced service department after such a terrible experience? Don't try and offer someone an apology by forcing them to spend more money with you to get the benefit. Take your money elsewhere if you'd like to be treated with respect.

    Easiest car purchase ever

    My wife and I saw a car on their website and went in to look at it. We were greated by a very nice, no pressure salesman, Trevor. He was very informative and helpful to make sure what our needs really were in a car. The purchase was easy as well.

    I have had my car serviced at Carrera Motors, now called Kendall Volkswagen of Bend, for several years. I have always received professional service and honest assessments of work to be done. The latest repair work was done at Kendall in lieu of the Volkswagen dealer in Las Vegas where the car problems first appeared. I was willing to pay $950.00 to truck transport the vehicle to Bend where I knew the staff was competent and trustworthy. Due to transport scheduling difficulties I had to drive the car back to Bend. They repaired the vehicle and I am confident it was done correctly. I was provided a cost free rental while the work was being done. The Touareg is an expensive luxury SUV and can be costly to maintain compared to economy models. So when service is needed I opt for quality service that best protects my investment.
