    We had a great experience! Oscar, sales rep, was knowledgeable, informative and professional, he made the buying experience no nonsense and pleasant. Marty, finance manager, worked hard to get us the best percentage financing and knowledge in finding the perfect extended warranty that worked for us! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you!!

    I called Jennifer and explained what I was looking for She did an outstanding job communicating back getting me to drive from Sacramento although I had 3 other Dodge dealers much closer to home No bait and switch Upfront and respected my wants and terms Financing was smoothest I’ve ever been through 7 cars purchased in my life hands down best experience ever Kudos Jennifer you are an asset And We will do business again

    Bought a truck five months ago

    We bought our used Dodge Ram 2500 five months ago. We also bought the best extended warranty we could get because it’s a 2014 and the finance guy at the dealership told us it would cover anything. Apparently not. The turbo actuator went out and they didn’t do a thing to help us and the expensive warranty we bought conveniently doesn’t cover it either. They didn’t bother to help, and Jeremy the guy who sold us the truck acted like he was being helpful, but when I called like he asked, he was “busy” and never returned my phone call. Also was charged $375 for a diagnostic test but the warranty didn’t cover that either. Absolute garbage service and garbage help. We were hopeful with all the good reviews they would at least be able to do something on a five month old truck we were sold and told had zero issues. They also didn’t fix the recall on the truck either. A waste of a two hour drive. Jeremy also told us we were mislead when purchasing the warranty but didn’t do anything further to help us. I will NEVER recommend this place again or shop here. We have already submitted a complaint through the Bureau of automotive repairs.

    They sold me a maintenance contract for 1600 and stated it would take care of all the maintenance then entered it into the computer as oil change only. Even mopar states that it would never cost 1600 for a maintenance only contact. They said they cant change it it has to be the dealer ship who sold it. I have a written contract but they wont call me back. Major crooks but I will be contacting Better Business Burea. Do not purchase a contract from them!!!!! I am willing to post pictures of my contact if it helps someone else from being taken advantage of!!!!!

    False advertisement

    Came to John L three weeks ago to look for a used SUV. Sanjay was our salesman. We test drove three vehicles. Rogue, Rav 4 and Escape. We narrowed it down to the Rogue and the Escape. Once we were in the office, Sanjay was then aided by Jeremy. There were three issues. 1) We were never given print outs/window stickers of the vehicles as we had asked for on a few occasions. 2) The internet posting of the Escape stated it came with "MyTouch Technology, which includes Bluetooth and Navigation" and, 3) When we were discussing pros/cons of the Escape and Rogue with Jeremy, we mentioned as a pro that the Escape has navigation. We were never "corrected" on that. So now here we are with a car that doesn't have navigation as we were led to believe, and a company that is completely unwilling to help us make it right.

    Emailed several very basic questions to determine if vehicle met my requirements. No answer. Dealership sent email saying they had scheduled test a drive for the next day. They were willing to waste my time and try to get me on their lot without answering very basic questions. Fail.

    I have purchased 8 brand new vehicles and I have never had a more positive experience than the one at Yuba City's John L. Sullivan dealership. Everyone with whom I have had contact was courteous and helpful. I especially appreciated the many contacts via phone or email after I bought the car. I would highly recommend that anyone considering buying a new or used car try John L. Sullivan first.
