A very nice dealer. The salesman and the manager were nice and helpful! In the end, we bought a different car from a different dealer much closer then home.

    Purchased a Lexus SC430
by Dennis Martello Jr. from Norristown, Pa. | January 24, 2019

I would like to voice my experience at Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto. This is a top shelf dealership. Everyone there were very patient, courteous, and fact finding. I want to make a special mention of David Long, Sales Consultant, Chris Salmon, F&I Manager, and Pete Fiedler, General Manager. I purchased a Lexus SC430, and the transaction couldn't of went any smoother. The car was detailed, gas tank filled, and to my surprise, a new battery, not in the original deal. David and Pete both followed up, the next day to see if there were any issues. Chris offered without any pressure, various service and warranty options. I highly recommend this dealership. Sincerely, Dennis Martllo Jr.

    Downhill
by Pedro, and Service Manager from Downingtown Pa | November 09, 2018

I was traveling from Wilmington to Downingtown for the dealership. I purchased two vehicles there. First experience was great, second experience not as much which led me to purchase from a closer dealership. I continued with service for all vehicles. On the newer vehicle after a firmware update all my settings were gone and my trailer lights no longer work so they said they would check. Service told me the feature was not enabled and would need to have some sales code turned on. The price wasn’t much but the more I spoke to service the more they insisted I never had this setup. I was towing motorcycle and ATVs for a year and the only change was the firmware update. Instead of offering any explanation they kept insisting it was never active, which basically was calling me a liar. We purchase many vehicles (6 in the last 5 years). I will never set foot in that dealership or service center again.

    Vinnie Gentile - kudos
by Roosevelt Moskow from Lansdowne | October 31, 2018

So, on a spur, we decided to view. Did an online search which connected us up with Vinnie. Within minutes, felt like we knew each other. He made the longer than normal process of waiting for the paperwork bearable by charisma and good service. Why he's not added to dropdown below is beyond me.

Perfect Experience Switching Brands to New Jeep
by Derek Krucelyak from Philadelphia, PA | October 06, 2018

One of the best, every step handled, done, and incredible deals ever at D'Ambrosio's. We've purchased an endless number of new cars, and this was not only one of the easiest, but quickest and simplest transactions, moving from a Chevy lease with payments left to the awesome new Jeep. Huge thanks to Joe, Anthony and the rest of the team, and could not have asked for a better experience. Love the new Jeep, and the exemplary customer service. Direct answers? Real pricing? Best scenario, without fluff, and the right vehicle from a huge inventory to match? Go here!

by Vinnie C. Sales from Downingtown PA | October 03, 2018

My husband and I are thinking about buying a new car and stopped in to check out D’Ambrosio’s inventory. We were helped by Vinnie C. who was most helpful and knowledgeable.

    Game Playing Sales Tactics
by Francesca from Phoenixville, PA | July 12, 2018

If I could give this dealership zero stars, then I would. This dealership has the worst business model of any dealership I've ever dealt with. One person (in this case, the son of the owner) makes verbal commitments and commitments via text message on out the door numbers and then when you set up an appointment with that person to finalize the deal and sign the papers, you get to the dealership, and that person is magically not there. Then you're pawned off on multiple sales reps who mess you around and have you waiting for hours (we were there for 1.5 hours until anyone came over to talk to us about the actual deal) just to tell you that they can't honor the commitment of the person who's not there and they try to negotiate upwards from the original quoted price. I've never seen such a backwards business model. Usually the dealership will offer you a slight "deal" off of full msrp and then you negotiate down from there. Never have I ever seen a dealership make their best and final offer and then negotiate back up to almost full msrp. That just puts a bad taste in any customer's mouth and sets a bad tone for the rest of the negotiations because all trust has been broken at that point. At that point, it's not even about the numbers. It's about the dishonesty and the disrespect to the customer. Had they been honest from the get go and said their best and final was a few thousand higher than the original quote, I would have never wasted my time or theirs with coming in. Instead, they lied to get us in there by quoting us a really good deal. "We can't honor that because that guy isn't here (the old bait and switch routine). Not to be sarcastic with you, but that's too good of a deal. No one would ever approve that in their right mind. It's actually a few thousand more." Then the customer is all confused because they thought they were just coming in to sign papers at this point and cut a check, since the negotiations were already done ahead of time. Then the new guy comes back with new numbers and says, well we can get you to the monthly payment you wanted. The customer looks at the paper only to realize that the sales guy is being sneaky and added $1000 onto what you agreed to put down (so that the sales manager can get the price of the car back up to what he thought was a good deal and didn't think we'd notice) and is undercutting you on the trade in value by over $1400, plus extending your loan three months and charging you more interest on top of that to make the monthly payment look like it's still what you want. The amount of games that were played by this dealership over the period of three hours on something that should have been an in and out process (since the negotiations were already made ahead of time) was incredible. If you like playing games and you like starting at their lowest final offer and negotiating back up and you like being lied to and wasting your precious time and being insulted by their "offers" and the equally as insulting condescending attitudes (especially the heinous attitude of the floor sales manager, Paul), then by all means...this is the place for you. But if you're a smart customer who doesn't like the game playing and you actually have respect for yourself and don't like shady business dealings or dealing with people who are not true to their word and you don't like being treated like you're a moron, then you won't buy a car here.

    Awesome experience
by Anthony from Downington, PA | May 04, 2018

Don't let the big name lot scare you. They are big for a reason. Great customer service, with a quality sales team. I was nervous in purchasing a new car but the whole process was smooth and with knowledgeable answers. Anthony was my sales man and probably will be for my lifetime. Nice work guys!

    sleezy dealership/salesmen
by annoyed from pa | April 26, 2018

This is the first time i am buying a car on my own and i have been to every dealer in the chester county area and dambrosio was by far the worst experience. The salesman made me feel very pressured and uncomfortable. Overall i think the dealership in itself is very sleezy and i don't ever plan on returning to them.
