    Wonderful sales experience

    Went shopping for a new used car. No pressure. I spent time with two sales people, sales manager, finance manager and general manager in determining which vehicle best fit our needs, desires and price. Over the course of several days, we received valuable feedback and effort. After the purchase, I needed technology tutoring and was provided it graciously. The most pleasant sales experience I have ever had. And I love our new car.

    Don’t do a carbon clean

    Unfortunately I had an extremely poor experience with a service on my Audi A8. A long story but I was told that the only way that a rough idle in my vehicle could be eliminated was a carbon clean. Please note that I was told in writing that it was the only way to fix. The rough idle. I have always been proactive when it comes to maintaining my vehicle so I had a factory recommended service done as well. When I picked up the vehicle to the tune of over 2K the car was running just as rough as when I brought it in. Aside from that part of the factory recommended service that I had done was Lubricating key points in a vehicle as well as general points. My door has been squeaking and I didn’t address it on my own because it was going in for that service. The first thing I noticed when I got in the vehicle and closed the door was that the hinge had not been lubricated. Since the tech would have been in and out of the vehicle many times and missed such an obvious thing I wondered what else they had missed. Aside from the car being absolutely filthy they had said that they lost their car wash so I understand the recital was so pronounced I brought it to the attention of the service person and she said that it was probably a motor mount which I found Highly insulting She said she would bring it into the garage and they would do a quick check 10 minutes later she came out and said that there were no recorded misfires and it must be the engine mount or something again I had to go to work so I left with the vehicle in the same condition that I brought it just $2000 lighter in my wallet. The electronica malfunction indicator light came on shortly afterwards and I made an appointment for a follow up. I was Told that the car now needed 8 new fuel injectors to the tune of $3800 and that there were misfires on several cylinders interesting how all the sudden they were misfires apparent when the car was running exactly the same as when I picked it up from the initial repair I don’t know if it takes more than 10 minutes to determine a misfire on cylinder or not. All in all the dealership Will twist and turn things into their favor of course. And in the past although expensive I’ve been satisfied with the quality and workmanship there just seems that now they are not willing to admit they made a mistake. The worst part of the experience was the apparent deception by the service rep when I picked up the vehicle and several emails to the General manager and service manager I addressed this with them and they skirted the issue plain and simple I was planning on turning over my vehicle spring of 2021 and finding a new Audi but it won’t be from Hoffman of New London

    Audi A4 about 8 years old Excellent service. Your employees have impressive communication skills and willingness to serve. I will always bring my little Audi back home for service. Very kind. And all my mats were washed! In addition to the rest of the car.
