    Horrible customer service
by Jane Stephenson from Greenfield | August 17, 2020

I was in constant communication with a sales representative at Highline Car Connection for TWO WEEKS in regard to a specific vehicle. Not once, during this time did the sales rep suggest that I put a deposit on the vehicle. After I'd been sent an invoice with a "grand total" I suggested putting a deposit down, to hold the vehicle over the weekend. I did not hear back from him. I contacted him two more times and then finally called. He told me the car had been sold already (four hours after I offered to put a deposit on the car.) When I called to speak with the manager I was offered a lot of excuses and shoulder shrugging before a reluctant apology was offered, along with "Hey, we're a car dealership. We sell cars. Someone wants to come in and buy one, we sell it." VERY FRUSTRATING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Dishonest and unprofessional
by Steve from New York, NY | June 25, 2020

I responded to an ad on Cargurus for a vehicle at this dealership priced at $25,900$. Michael Bennett made an appointment with me to view the vehicle. Turns out within 3 days of my inquiry the price suddenly changed to $28,550 without even notifying me. I drove from NYC to Connecticut only to have my time wasted. Unprofessionalism and dishonesty are what my ratings are for this dealership and salesperson. Stay away unless you want to get lied to.

best buying experience I ever had.
by Jim Chester from New Milford CT | June 05, 2020

I bought a Ford F-150 from them. They had the best deal on the internet. All the salesman share the responsibility. If somebody was busy someone else took care of me. It was really great.

    Liars!!
by Buyer Beware from Waterbury, CT | September 26, 2019

They lie and promise but never deliver. Shady dealership that doesn't disclose any issues with vehicles. Terrible customer service once you buy the car. Bought a Subaru from them and had a blown head gasket. Promised free oil changes but didn't deliver. Buyer beware!

    Omitting information is lying
by MikeP from Cambridge, MA | August 13, 2019

I drove from Boston, MA to this dealer. Prior to coming, I asked if it was a smokers car and for the sales person to send me any pictures of the vehicle with any defects/damage. I also asked if there was anything I should know about the vehicle prior to making the trip. When I arrived I could smell smoke in the vehicle which was the first lie but not a big deal because I could pay to get it taken out. I asked why the car didn't have a front plate holder the salesperson told me he would mail me one. I purchased the car took it to a body shop to do some touch up painting where the auto body shop discovered that the grill was snapped in 5 places which is why it didn't have a front plate holder on it. I bought a new grill and took it to get inspected to find out that it failed inspection. The daytime running lights do not work because the vehicle had aftermarket lights on it and the car had a bald tire. After a week of calling they agreed to put a new tire on it but they refuse to fix the daytime running lights and told me I should have checked that when I bought the car. Not good customer service, the car was filthy when I picked it up and they deceive their customers. They knew well that the headlights were after market and the DTR lights didn't work. They failed to disclose this to me when I bought the car. In the state of MA the DTR lights have to work in order to pass inspection and now I have to pay for them myself if I want to pass inspection.

Good experience, unhappy with a few things
    by Cskiba80 from Hamden, Connecticut | April 21, 2019

Quick and easy process. I was pre approved through Capital one so I came in, met with Pete, he was patient and allowed me to take multiple test drives to make sure it was the truck I wanted and then took care of financing and signed the paperwork. They even stayed an hour later to wrap everything up which was much appreciated. The truck wasn’t safety checked yet, so they had to keep it another day, which wasn’t ideal, but they were very prompt and apologetic and kept in touch with me to make sure it was ready before the close of business the next day which was more than appreciated. Pick up of the vehicle was quick, easy and painless even though they were extremely busy. Great job there. I took away 1 star for the following reasons; 1. Although they did the safety check, they didn’t have any paperwork for me as service was closed. Pete told me he would send it to me Monday, and I believe he will, but I would have liked to have that readily available. 2. They left me with 40 miles to empty. Every dealership I’ve purchased a car from has always given me a full tank of gas, so I was a little unhappy that I immediately had to put 120 dollars in my tank, I’m not sure if that’s how they do business or it was just looked over 3. The truck needs an alignment which should have been done before delivery of the vehicle, I’m choosing to level it and put new tires on so I’ll have to do it anyway. Not a big deal, but worth noting. Overall I’d recommend going to check them out, they have very aggressive pricing and are not pushy at all which is nice in the car industry.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place
by Pete from Waterbury Connecticut | December 24, 2018

2 weeks after we bought our edge, CoincidentLy the starter went. My fiancé missed an hour and a half of her 2 hour final. I had to leave work(35mins) one way to give her my car and Uber $45,back to work. $619 for the tow, starter and labor. They only agreed to pay 1/2, by check. I had to put the full amount up front and I’m still waiting for said check. Shady people and a shady business. All of this occurred before we even got our plates and registration. Don’t let those good reviews fool you. Take your money and time elsewhere or you’ll instantly regret it like me. It appears they only respond back to negative reviews that they know they’re covered on.

    Great Experience
by Peter from Watertown | April 02, 2018

We were in the market for a used pickup truck and found the right one at Highline. Every part of the process was extremely transparent including having our own mechanic look the car over. Peter was great to deal with and made the whole process easy.

Nice, polite service and good value vehicles
by Guy from East Longmeadow, MA | November 04, 2017

Mike was very friendly and respectful and was helpful in sending me the Carfax upon my request. Although I did not end up purchasing a vehicle here, he returned my deposit quickly and without any hassles or questions. I would not hesitate to shop here again.
