    SERVICE
by PAUL CHONG from COS, CO | January 21, 2021

I would never tell anyone to do business with this dealership. Just took my 2018 Outback in because the power passenger front window switch would not work on the driver side door. Instead of someone taking the 10 seconds to reprogram it they had the car for half a day and charged me $200. The absolute worse way to treat a customer. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Poor customer service and leadership their focus
by Will from Denver Colorado | August 13, 2020

I have used this dealership in the past for multiple purchases due to having had a great salesman. I can honestly say times of changed in dealing with this dealership and not for the better. I had hoped my family would have a life long relationship of buying vehicles from this dealership but the manager I dealt with and the General Manager, through their actions, guaranteed that my business will be going to a dealership that values customers and customer service and isn’t looking to make every last dollar, which sally wasn’t the case when I purchased my first two vehicles from them. A deal was in place to purchase a vehicle and the deal itself was a solid deal. Extra add ons were being done. While in the process of this, a hail storm occurred. I received a call from a salesman who advised there was a situation. I got 7 terrible photos the next day from the manager who I had been dealing with primarily. The car hadn’t been washed so I had no real idea about the damages but 7 photos was alarming and at that point I was not comfortable buying a “new”’damaged vehicle. The dealership wanted me to take the damaged vehicle but I had no interest in taking a damaged vehicle paying the amount of money I was paying. New means new and damaged is not new. The dealership began to work with me for an alternative purchase. The vehicle specifications I wanted were not readily available and so I inquired about trying to get a 2021. What I wanted would come in by September and I agreed I could wait. While discussing the deal I asked if it would be possible to get 0 interest. I was advised the dealership does not set the interest rates and chase Subaru finance does. The manager gave me the number and told me to try. After numerous calls I reached someone who reached out to the dealership to advise of my inquiry. Apparently this made multiple people upset at the dealership. I was called by the manager on 8/10/20 and he began to go over the deal on the 2021. He fundamentally changed the deal lowering my trade in by 500 as he said it’s another month having passed. I have no control over that as the vehicle that matches my requirements wasn’t in until September and the trade in was not being utilized. I was quite upset about this as the vehicle is not being used by me since it was being traded in. At that point I asked for my deposit back and a shouting.match ensued with the manager who told me we had an oral contract on a recorded line and since the dealership had done work on that vehicle I wasn't getting my deposit back. I advised him the purchase was for a new vehicle not a damaged “new”. vehicle. This didn't sit well with me and I advised I would look at reporting this matter to the state since my deposit was being held without cause. Within 5 minutes of sending that email a general manager called me. He was rather rude as when I asked him if he wanted to hear my side his reply was I don’t care what your side is. I’m the GM and have beee so for 33 years. I will be giving you a refund and do not use our dealership moving forward which didn’t need to be stated as I will no longer look to utilize this dealership again before he said that. This dealership clearly does not treat their customers like they’re building a book of business anymore but rather as a dollar sign. The GM clearly in this case shows what customer service means to him with this interaction. I received what amounted to spam emails from the manager wanting to help me purchase vehicle while I was in the process of working with him to try and do so, further illustrating the lack of awareness, care, and customer service one would expect from a business. I would’ve rated the manager a zero if I could as when the deal was working well, he was tolerable. The moment the deal began to go sideways, his attitude and demeanor were greatly lacking

    by Djhall73 from Jefferson, CO | June 24, 2020

Kory was great. We had some questions and if he did not have the answer he would find it. The process did take some time but was smooth and painless.

    Poor service process
by Tiringtrio from Colorado Springs, CO | June 01, 2020

Went in for an A/C recharge and they called me after their multi point inspection. They informed me of my brakes needing to be replaced as well as some other minor filter/bulb replacements. Opted to do some through them as well. Everything was great except the A/C service. While they did the recharge, their process is not good. Initial drive home was good with cool air. Didn’t drive over the weekend and on Monday, blowing hot again. This means there is a leak somewhere. When asked why I would have another possible leak, Andre replied that they pull down the system, fix the first issue they find, and then just charge it up. They don’t evac the system again because they would have to charge me for that. Uhhh what? Anyone who does hvac for a living, knows that when you pull down a system and detect a leak, you fix the issue and then pull down the system again to make sure there are no other issues. I was told this was their procedure, as if that is an appropriate response. Having established poor practice doesn’t give you an excuse. Don’t hide behind that, fix the procedure. Why was I told about my brakes, filters, and bulb but no option for a second pull down after finding an ac issue? If you aren’t going to do a professional job which would already include ensuring a clean evac, then at least give customers the option to know that and request it. They let me know that I need to replace the condenser, don’t charge me for the info, and give me a discount from a bit over twelve hundred to just under a thousand dollars. Yikes.... I do some research and calling around and find a price in the range of seven hundred to do the same thing. Before a reply of “quality parts” and “quality service”. I’ve just outlined why your service is not. My repairs will happen where that is actually the case. Again, not with this shop.

    December Crosstrek buying
by Dianna from Colorado Springs, CO | January 20, 2020

I really enjoyed the showroom, complete with fancy coffee, and that everyone was willing to answer questions about the various cars. It took a little longer to finish the paperwork than I had planned for, and I ended up having to come back the next day to finish paperwork and pick up the car. I was disappointed that they weren?t willing to negotiate on trade in value and were a bit pushy on the sale of a warranty.

    Heuberger is great!
by Cassidy Johnson from Del Norte, Colorado | December 12, 2019

My experience purchasing a new car at the Heuberger Subaru was phenomenal. Joey (internet sales) did a fantastic job, and actually got my husband and I out of a bad spot! We were traveling in southern Colorado and my old car's transmission literally died on us on the highway. It would have taken a month and more money than the car was actually worth to repair. I took this as a sign that it was time for a change, and had always been interested in a Crostrek. I did some initial shopping online, and ended up contacting Heuberger. Joey responded immediately and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. He made me a very good deal on a 2019 Crostrek and I was able to pay without stepping foot at the dealership. He even arranged the delivery for the car (which was great because we were stranded and car-less)! Heuberger really went out of its way to help us, and although we were bummed about having to nix our road trip, I ended up with a new car so I honestly can't complain! I love my new Crostrek! It is a fantastic car and I would highly recommend Heuberger for the purchase of a new Subaru.

    Crosstrek purchase
by "Country Boy and Gal" from Lake City, Colorado | October 14, 2019

We finally were able to drive our new Crosstrek and drove to Arizona from Colorado. Great experience up and over Slumgullion and Wolf Creek passes on two lane highways followed with remote desert finally reaching the interstate. Then city driving near Phoenix. Great experience as we learn to operate the many safety features. Plenty of power over the mountains and elsewhere. Fun, too!
