  STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY When you purchase a car here you can expect a 100 point drop in your credit rating. I brought home my newborn daughter from the hospital and as I was walking thru the door with her my phone was telling me my credit rating dropped. It turn out they never paid off my car i traded in. Two months had gone by and my car had not been paid off. They called for a payoff and did not send the right amount. I thought they would help me since they ruined my credit but they did nothing to help. Mandy Martin who works at the DuPage Jeep Store just blames the consumer and claims OWNERS Jim Spellman and Bret Matthews have no desire to help anyone who buys a car from them. SO STAY AWAY FROM GURNEE JEEP IN GURNEE ILLINOIS AND save your credit rating,

  Service personnel Chris was very rude. When I complained to management he lied and said I yelled and cursed in front of customers. I love my new vehicle but wish I used a different dealership

  I wanted to thank Adrian Telez at Gurnee Chrysler for the best experience we had at a dealership. We purchased a used car from them. From the test drive to leaving the parking lot with our new car, it took about two hours. For me that's short. I would buy from them again. Thank you.

  I had an appointment set up in advance for 20,000 mile check- up. I was there on time, they took the car in and processed all required activities fast. Was out in an hour. Very happy with this dealer so far!

  Deceptive Pricing

  I was begging to buy a vehicle and you would think given the current environment, the dealership would want to do a deal. I dealt with the Internet Department (Valery and Mary) and was given a complete run around. Had the Wrangler I wanted at a price I was willing to not haggle over. This was to be a simple transaction. Cost of the vehicle less a 1/3 cash down payment with no trade in. Exemplary credit should have qualified me for their best financing rate on the balance due. Here it is "Negotiated Cost minus Cash Down Payment plus License Fees, Registration Fees and applicable Taxes". Plug this into an online calculator to get my monthly number. They call me back with a number that is not even close. When I question it, it becomes everyone else's "fault", namely the Finance Department per Mary. Can I get a call back explaining the reason for the discrepancy? Eventually, the call comes that tells me about added packages that I never would agree to. The biggest charge was the "Gurnee Package". What???? Some $3,000 package that includes oil and tire services amongst other "perks". This is like a scene from Fargo of some salesman trying to sell me rustproofing that I never agreed to ala the 1980's! I tell Mary I have no interest in the add-on packages and to get back to me with "clean numbers". Never get the call back and the vehicle disappears from the website along with the reduced price. I have the pictures showing the price that was originally offered and will be forwarding my findings to Corporate. Been a long time Jeep owner (five prior Wranglers) and this was just a really poor experience. My advice...... Stay far away
