    I love bringing my car in to Gengras, I can trust them. Even if I have to pay extra it?s worth the peace of mind. You wouldn?t jump from doctor to doctor every time you had a physical, so do the same with your car. Get it serviced with the people you trust.

    Classic Bait and Switch Sparks and Tylers

    I DOUBLE CHECKED with Tyler Hackett, that Gengras' online ad for a 2020 Silver Chevy Spark was PRESENT on the lot and the price was correct at 11,135. He said that it WAS THERE and that the price was ONLY GOOD until the end of that day. (4th of July Special) I made an appointment to see the car for the same evening. Sure enough, ANOTHER PERSON named Tyler drove up with the 2020 Silver Chevy Spark, and began assisting me. The car had 850 miles on it and was dirty inside. When I asked about this, Tyler said it was a "loaner" car for people who are getting service on their car, and that was why the price was lower. (I said that wasn't mentioned on the website) Tyler said nothing. After the TEST DRIVE, I wanted to discuss buying the car. Tyler said that THIS WAS NOT the same silver Spark as advertised. The advertised car was sold 2 weeks ago, and that Tyler Hackett didn't know. ( THEY MAKE APPOINTMENTS TO SEE CARS THAT ARE NOT THERE) He said THIS silver Spark "loaner" car was $12,800. Do you see where this is going? I asked to speak with Tyler Hackett and was told he was gone for the day. OK RIGHT, I headed for the EXIT! Tyler then asked if I would be interested in a BLUE Spark they DID HAVE on the lot. And WHOOMP THERE IT IS! The Classic Bait and Switch! So, Here is the DEAL..... They are using this 2020 Silver Spark "loaner" to lure in people looking for a good deal, and telling them the price is only good for that day. Then, claim the "loaner" is not the advertised car for 11,135. It's 12,800. And that the 11,135 Silver Spark has already been sold 2 weeks ago. Why would a dirty, loaner be 12,800 and a new car be 11,135? It wouldn't. Then they try to sell you a (Headache color) Blue Spark that nobody wants. I LEFT that Disreputable Establishment! That's how slick these folks are. But not slick enough. Why? Because I copied the VIN # off the "loaner" car and can compare it to the VIN # on the online ad to see if they match. OH SNAP! GUESS WHAT I SAW! They took that 2020 Silver Spark for 11,135 off the website by the time I got home! Check it, they couldn't take it off in 2 whole weeks since it was "sold" but they took it off in hours after I got that VIN #!! My Advice, #1 - ALWAYS get the VIN # off the Dealership's Website for the car you are going to look at. Then bring it with you and compare it with the VIN# on the car. ( I'll be looking to see if they put this "loaner decoy" back on their website) #2 - DON'T give GREEZY GENGRAS your money! Give your business to a dealership that will treat you right!

    While many people generally feel that bringing their vehicle in for service is potentially as painful as a trip to the dentist, I have repeatedly been pleasantly surprised and pleased by the treatment I’ve recieved at the service dept. at Gengras. I’ve brought my treasured Silverado in a few times and the entire service dept. team , and a mr. Ruben Chaudhry in particular, have treated me to the kind of service by which those of other dealers pale by comparison in reguards to their customer satisfaction, respect and prompt and courteous service and attention to clients needs including time constraints and scheduling of repairs. Efficiency and respect are a few of the qualities that other service departments should take their queue from the example that Gengras Service displays as “business as usual”. Thanks for getting me back on the road ASAP again Gengras...
