    Horrible experience

    I went to this dealership because i saw many of their cars online and they appeared to be beautiful. When i got there, however, i quickly realized that they were selling high mileage luxury vehicles in various states of disrepair yet priced as if they were low mileage luxury vehicles. The first car i test drove was a convertible bmw with an engine that kept seizing up during the trip. the second was a bnw that we decided not to drive because mutiple cylinders were misfiring. The third vehicle was an audi a5 that had a seizing engine issue as well. All of that said i needed a car so i was trying to negotiate with them a reasonable downpayment for the cheapest one (the $8995 bmw) providing that its issues were completely fixed by the time of purchase and i guess you could imagine my surprise when the sales guy comes out after a 30 minute wait and tells me that i have to put 5000 dollars down for a 9000 dollar vehicle thats probably worth 6 at best. when i asked why i would have to pay half the value of the car for a downpayment he said taxes and fees. LMAO- maybe they thought i was mathematically challenged or something- idk. i do know that one of their associates promptly accosted me to inform me that he had cars for sale in the back of the lot (that were no good at ALL) and that i could buy any one of them AS IS right now- to which i declined while i pretended to pay attention to the fox news program they had blasting in the lobby. so my rating for this business? If you meet the customer criteria they value im sure they can be reputable and upstanding but, if you are not a "valued customer" and i think we can all read between the lines- i would steer as far clear of these rip off artists as possible. Id also like to add that while there were alot of people who look like me on the lot today shopping around and having their cars serviced there were none on their facebook page being congratulated for their new vehicle-hundreds of people congratulated not a one with a speck of melanin.

    Very disappointing experience!!

    I bought a BMW from Geneva Foreign Auto and nearly as soon as I drove it off the lot an engine light came on. I have taken it back to them 9 times, yes 9 times and the engine light is still on. I don't believe that their service department has a clue? It has been a very frustrating and inconvenient experience especially since I live an hour and 20 minutes away. My suggestion: don't go there and pay dealer price for a used car and get private party service which is none. I would think they would want to preserve their reputation and take car of their customers?

    Geneva Foreign and Sports has been amazing.

    Our purchase has truly been a unique and awesome experience! Our prior sole vehicle had recently been totaled and we were in need of another to accommodate us. Over the years we have had several vehicles for our large growing family and typically purchased through independent parties, but by far, the benefits of having purchased our van, an Odyssey, with Geneva Foreign and Sports has been amazing. Our sales guy, Michael Hackett, went above and beyond and met all our expectations. He made all the necessary arrangements to get us our vehicle timely and efficiently. Due to our distance and traveling dilemma, Mike worked with us patiently and willingly throughout our purchase. He continued open communication via messaging and phone that was pleasing, informative, and without delays. With confidence, I look forward to working with Mike again, with an upcoming new driver. We have been more than satisfied with the vehicle, attention and service at GFS, I cannot praise it enough!

    Dishonest and Smug

    We came to see an Armada. Took it for a test drive (after it wouldn't start) and then asked to see the car up on a lift so my husband could walk underneath and look closely. It's a used car, so of course we found a few things, NBD. Mike (the owner's nephew) and I texted back and forth for a week, negotiating on price. We finally came to an agreement. Except Michael tried to pull a fast one and sent a purchase agreement that did NOT reflect what we had agreed to. There must have been a misunderstanding... Ok Michael. I'm sure there was a misunderstanding. But he wouldn't sell for what we had agreed to, so I walked away. Two weeks later, the car is still showing up for sale. I text him about it. He bold face lies and tells me he sold it for asking price. Haaaaahahaha! Maybe he did sell it. But he didn't sell it for asking price in this market. Here we are three weeks later and that car is still showing as for sale and a different salesman at the dealership told me it's still available. So so many lies. Want more proof? If you mention this dealer around town, locals tell you to stay away. They're not known for honesty and integrity at GFS

    I bought a used car at this place. Unfortunately, I was "taken for a ride". They all acted like they cared about a used car buyer, except Mike. When I picked up my All wheel drive car, it was snowing out. They told me they put new tires, new brakes and cleaned it up nice. Well, they were right about one thing(and this is the only reason I gave them a 2 rating), they polished that turd up very nicely. It looked great! I was all ready to try out the car in the snow, but to my horrified surprise, the all wheel drive car was slipping all over the road and I was on the thruway! I almost did not make it home! I was so irritated. I checked the tires when I got home and saw they were JUNK new tires, Otani tires. They cost about $150 to $200 for a set!! What a scam. I called and complained that the new tires were like bologna skins and the guy laughed. SO now I had to come out of pocket another $300, and the dealer gave me $180 (which was the cost of the crap tires) towards a new and better set, on top of the $9500 I spent on the car. I got new tires and what a surprise, they worked great. Then, a few weeks later, I was driving to my home and all of the sudden, dashboard lights started coming on! The car died and I was stranded with my kids for over an hour until AAA came. Mind you the car would not start so NO HEAT! The garage I towed it to said the alternator was bad. SO, I called and talked to these guys again and " sorry you are over your warranty by 5 days, did you buy our $2000 extended warranty"? No, so I took it to a friend who did the work for a lot less then they were going to do it for and my buddy said, " looks like your brakes will need to be changed within the next 5 months and your down 1 quart of oil". What, they were supposed to be new brakes and they just did an oil change!! So don't buy used cars here and I would be very leery buying new also!!!!

    The service team is always the best; they get me in as soon as the next day if not sooner. I never feel like I am being taken for a "ride" and always feel welcome when I walk in the door... They are quick, efficient, and always helpful..

    Great Buying Experience! No Pressure!

    Awesome experience. I walked the lot and wasn't run down like an animal being hunted. The salesperson let me drive 4 different cars and never pressured me once! Happily drove away with the exact BMW that I wanted and haven't had a single issue in the 2 months that I've owned it (keeping my fingers crossed). Would highly recommend if you're looking for a low pressure Dealership. You still feel the family atmosphere as I spoke to the owners personally but this place seems to have it all.
