    I bought a 2019 Yukon XLT
by Veronica Robinson from Phoenix Az | May 11, 2020

They need to have a quicker process because it takes less time to close on a house. And their salesman needs to listen when the customer tells them something and not keep asking the same questions over and over again when if they had listened in the first place it would not have taken 6 hours to complete the transaction. But they did try to make it up at the end. I would still recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vehicle

False Promises. Attempted a Bait and Switch.
by James from Glendale, AZ | May 07, 2020

I am reluctantly leaving a poor review. I am simply disappointed in Freeway Chevrolet's lack of integrity, and sheer disregard for customer time. After finding a promising cars.com posting for a 2019 Jetta with low mileage, I took a drive over to the dealership on a Wednesday evening... I didn't call ahead, as it was in close proximity to a friends house. Upon arriving, I did a quick lap through the used car section with a salesperson, and was unable to find the vehicle that I was interested in. The salesperson ran inside, returned after about 5 minutes and said he couldn't find the car and he "thought" it was sent to auction that same day... This already sounded a little fishy to me, since the online listing had just been updated that same day with a lower price. Immediately the salesperson tried to put me onto a different car, again older, more miles, an expiring warranty, and higher priced... Sounding very much like the old bate and switch. After giving the salesperson 15 minutes of my time to find me something similar to what I was looking for, and after continually getting fed less attractive car options that weren't what I was looking for, I politely let him know that if he could find the Jetta in question (which was still listed on his online inventory), or if he could find a comparable deal, to give me a call. At this point, it is a typical dealer experience... what the salesperson didn't know is that while he was trying sell me another car... I had messaged the dealership through cars.com, inquiring about the availability of the vehicle. And within 5 minutes had received a message from their online sales team assuring me the vehicle was still for sale and would be available if I was interested. Not impressed by the two different stories I was getting... I left the showroom without informing the in-person salesperson of the message I just received from the online sales team a moment earlier. Before I could make it 100 ft. from the showroom door, the salesperson ran out, and explained he had talked with the online sales team, and that the car could be made available and the car was "definitely" still for sale... if I set up an appointment for the next day. I explained that I had several work tele-meetings that needed to be completed and that time was tight and that I would be commuting a good distance to come see this car... again he assured me it was all doable. The next morning (Thursday, May 7th) came, and I received a call from the salesperson at our agreed upon time of 9 am to discuss the in-person appointment. He again expressed certainty the car would be available for purchase... but this time added that in order for them to get the car back to the dealership that we would need to at least get a verbal agreement in place... Against my better judgement, and after some assurances from the salesperson, I agreed to at least drive over and sit down to hash out the numbers... and if an agreement could be found the car would be brought back to the dealership to finish the deal. After commuting to the dealership, I was greeted by the salesperson... got about 2-3 minutes of small talk, asked a few questions about my employment (which is solid) and credit worthiness (which is solid)... The salesperson said he would return in a moment to start talking numbers... After about 5 minutes he came back over, sat down, and said the Jetta had been sold at auction earlier that morning... but that he didn't know that. Immediately, he went down the road of saying he was working with the "manager" to find a deal similar... he started to again go right back to some of the cars that he had pushed the night before... I simply looked at him and let him know he had lost a customer and a sale... as I was interested in a deal that day if the car I had been interested had been presented. I do not recommend Freeway Chevrolet to anyone in the market for a used car. The Jetta is still being listed cars.com

    New Truck - Great Service
    by Sparky67 from Mesa, AZ | November 13, 2019

Dennis Renko located a truck for me within 1 hour. Other dealerships either didn't respond to me or gave minimal effort in helping me. Dennis paid attention to what I was looking for and what I was willing to pay. He then drove 4 hours to pick up the vehicle for me. I can't say enough good things about his level of customer service.

    Lifesaver
by Alan from Chandler, AZ | July 19, 2019

Today, I had the best customer service from Alan in the Service Department, that I’ve ever had from a dealership or any service establishment. It was truly lifesaving. My daughter who is 8 months pregnant had a roadside breakdown. It was 109 degrees today. She had called several area dealers who did not have loaners or charged an exorbitant rate to rent a loaner car. I told her to deal with getting a tow truck and I would contact dealers to find the best place to bring her car. I had the good fortune to reach Alan at Freeway Chevrolet. I conveyed the urgency and he said he’d check on a loaner car and call me back in 10 minutes. It wasn’t even 2 minutes before Alan called back to say they could help us. It was close to closing time and he offered to hold a car for her so she wouldn’t be stranded. Since I was an hour and a half away from helping her myself, it gave me great peace of mind to have her immediate need solved and to be treated with such kindness and understanding. My daughter has definitely found the right place for current and future sales and service. Thank you Alan and Freeway Chevrolet. Well done!

    Beware
by Sherry from Mesa, Arizona | August 28, 2018

I want everyone in Arizona to know that Freeway Chevrolet is very unprofessional!!!! My cousin was under the impression that she was walking away with a new car trading in her old Chevy in when in fact they did NOT let her know that when she was stopping in today that she had to give back the keys. The original sales girl Sherry didn’t even have the decency to face her with the situation at hand!! Another guy was sent over and didn’t even sit and fully explain or apologize about anything!! He Just asked for the keys back. Then told us he was sick he didn’t fell good and wasn’t going to sit down. Very rude!!!!!!! Then when they sent another guy to bring her keys tried to rush us off the lot..... Again very rude & unprofessionally done!!!!! He tried to act as if he wasn’t rushing us but the other car wasn’t even brought to the front until I asked for it to be brought around... I am very disappointed due to the fact that I myself have a Chevy!!! The plate wasn’t even put back on until I asked nor was the original paperwork given back until I asked!!!! My cousin wasn’t in the mood to deal with the matter but what do you expect she was bamboozled!!!!!!! So can you imagine now what she has to deal with the original bank, insurance, credit score changing, so xxxx Unprofessional of them not even helping with getting back on track!!!! It is actually disgusting how she was treated and I will NOT and she will NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO FREEWAY CHEVROLET!!!!!!!!!

    Transmission flush and differential maintenance
by Don McAllister from Lake Havasu City | July 31, 2018

I drove in at 8:30am to have my transmission flushed as well as differential maintenance, which they said would be about 2.5 hours. I went to get some breakfast and when I returned the maintenance was already completed-- timely professional service.

    Disappointed
by Dustin T from Glendale, AZ | May 13, 2018

Disappointed. Went through the USAA car buying program and got a price guarantee cert for a F-250. Was in contact for two days about this vehicle with the dealer and confirmed I would be in . They contacted me 30 minuets prior to my arrival to confirm I was on my way. I drove from north Glendale and upon my arival they told me they sold it earlier that morning. They then tried to convince me to look at some Chevys on the lot. Complete waste of my time.

Best sales guys I've ever worked with
by Jake K from Chandler, Arizona | March 25, 2018

I came in searching for a truck for my mom and I'm very glad I did. William Romero (Sales) and Dennis Renko (Floor manager) decided to pull in a few vehicles for me to take a look at so I could have multiple options to choose from. Once I found the perfect truck, William, Dennis and Dwayne Shanklin (Finance manager) bent over backwards to make sure they could get me the very best deal without me even having to attempt to negotiate. All said and done, they even threw in 3k dollars in repairs/maintence for FREE as well as them even bringing the price of the truck down to allow me to get a better interest rate. These guys made me feel welcomed and didn't push anything on me at all, because of that they have 100% locked in a lifetime customer. I can't explain how highly I recommend these guys for your next car purchase, just make sure to ask for William.
