by Stranded from Greensboro NC | December 20, 2019Six days and 200 miles after buying my car I’m stranded by overheated engine. Car needed a water pump which dealer knew about and didn’t say anything. They did not want to talk to me when I called to tell them about the issue. Buyer beware!

by Disappointed from Durham | April 02, 2019Purchased a 2013 Ford Focus on a short timeline and got soaked. I had to have a reliable car so I figured buying from a dealership was a safer option. After buying and driving off the lot I began to have a shuttering transmission which I found out is a common problem with the Focus. No way they didn't know about this problem before selling me the car, and of course there is no warranty. These guys are your typical shaddy used car dealers, stay away!

by Alan from Raleigh NC | March 28, 2019I was in negotiations with a used car purchase and was told numerous times when asking for my out the door price that it was the car sales tax title/tag fee doc fee. Then once I received my bill of sale to give to my bank I noticed that they added a dealer opt charge for a useless Zurich exterior package that was never agreed upon nor told it would be added to the overall price. Since the dealership wants to make extra money on a deal to pay for a loss on a car they haven’t been able to sell. To make it worse all Zurich warranties and packages are negotiable on price! I’ve bought may of cars from dealerships and will not be dealing with this one. Nothing worse then when a large dealership try’s to screw someone over.

If you don't paid for what we recommend you loose your Family Plan it a ((gimmick)) Just to lock you into coming to them. I came in for a $45. oil change and got a quote of $2300. and was told "you have to do it"

We have gotten our Optima serviced here ever since we purchased it with 2 miles on it. We now have 64,000 miles on it and every time we came to get our car serviced, we have received A+ service! The facility all around is clean and we have a 2 year old so we truly appreciate that. Our advisors keep us up-to-date throughout each service. They off food and snacks and have a TV to keep us entertained. We highly recommend you come here for your service needs!

by Kia Owner from Durham, NC | August 28, 2018I’m done with Fred Anderson Kia. I’ve been getting my vehicles serviced at Fred Anderson for many years – first my Camry & now my Optima. I get that stuff happens in life but it seems something always goes wrong when I visit Fred Anderson Kia. Once they pulled my car up too close to the curb and scratched up one of the premium aluminum wheels pretty good. Another time they said they rotated the tires and charged me for it – the tires did not in fact get rotated. On another occasion after a service visit I went to renew my car registration and couldn’t because the State emissions & safety inspection hadn’t been done and entered into the system. I had just paid for this on my recent service visit but in fact it hadn’t been done. Now my car sitting in the cue for service gets sideswiped or they clipped the side of the building moving it – not sure which. I’m sure there are a few other things going back a little further that I’m not remembering at the moment but this is enough.

Van had to be brought back in for service within 24 hours because problems were not fixed properly (this happened 2 times, within a week) After being at dealership for 2 weeks, we had van towed from there because of the horrible service and they still had not fixed the problem. Oil program is not "free" . Have to pay for tire rotation at the same time. We found this company to lack honesty, service and communication! Will never use again!
