Stay far away from this dealership.
by Adrian from Valparaiso, IN | April 20, 2020

I purchased a 2017 CPO over the internet from this dealership on March 10th , and it was and continues to be a debacle. I put a down payment on the vehicle 1 week before I flew out to pick it up, and I still had to point out dings, scratches and some kind of sticky substance inside the vehicle. No one went over the features of the vehicle, the finance department had the wrong paper work and when I got home I realized that they had jerry rigged the rear license plate as one of the retaining nuts was broken. The general manager sent a generic "How was your experience" email, to which I responded and have heard nothing in return. This place does not care about the customers. A month later, I get an email (not even a phone call) that they didn't get all the correct paperwork filled out, and could I please fill the forms out and return as soon as possible. I asked for specific and clear instructions for these forms. I then filled them out and returned them, then I get another email telling me I didn't fill them out correctly. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would expect this kind of behavior from any corner used car lot, but not a Mercedes dealership. But here I am. Still haven't heard a peep from anyone addressing my issues. The headaches this place has caused are not worth the vehicle we purchased. Take your time and find another dealership to do business with.

Service does not stand y their work
by Tom, Jeff from Chevy Chase, MD | February 26, 2020

I am hesitant to write this review because up until recently, I have always had a positive experience with Euro Motorcars Bethesda. In October 2018, I experienced an annoying intermittent backup camera issue that I thought would be covered under warranty. I took my car in to Euro Motorcars Bethesda to have it looked at and was told that there was a fuse which was either loose or close to shorting out and that they would not be able to be fix the issue under warranty until the part broke completely. My car was under warranty at this time. Since that time the issue has gotten worse, but has not broken completely. Last week I took my car in to have an unrelated issue fixed for $1600 and mentioned that I was still having the original issue. My warranty has since expired. My service provider Tom assured me that someone would take a look at it. Several hours later Tom called me and let me know that the issue was not a fuse but instead the screen itself was damaged and that it would cost approximately $1300 to fix. Tom went on to say that due to the fact that I had brought the car in to have this issue fixed before when it was under warranty, Mercedes would split the cost with me. This did not seem satisfactory since the problem was misdiagnosed when the car was under warranty. I then escalated the issue to the Service Manager Jeff. Jeff told me that the fact that I had waited so long to bring the car in after the warranty expired made it difficult for him to go back to Mercedes USA to ask that they cover more of the cost. I explained to him that I had been told back in October, 2018 that the camera would completely stop working before they would be able to find the broken fuse, and that I had trusted that information which is why I had not brought my car back in. I asked Jeff how else I should have handled the issue and he said that he thought that I should have brought the car in earlier despite the fact that I had told me something different. Jeff said that the most Mercedes was willing to pay for was 60 percent. Since Jeff said that Mercedes USA was making this decision, I elevated the issue to an Executive Referral Manager who told me that Jeff was not honest in his representation to me that Mercedes USA makes these decisions and that instead the individual dealership makes the final decisions on what they will and will not cover after a warranty has expired. He suggested I call the General Manager, Charlie, to address the issue. I have called the GM three times with no calls back. I feel extremely underappreciated as a customer of Euro Motorcar Bethesda due to the fact that the General Manager has not returned my calls and am concerned at their ability to accurately diagnose issues in the vehicles they service. Had my backup camera been properly diagnosed back in October 2018 when my vehicles was still under warranty, I would not be having this issue. In a perfect world, I wish they would fix this issue and honor that I had brought it to their attention under warranty. I will no longer be taking my car there for any service needs. Jamie, 2015 GL450 from Chevy Chase

    Gave me one wrong key
by Alexander Marchenko and mr Greg from Bethsida, MD | April 11, 2019

I wouldn’t recommend to go there as they wouldn’t do anything even if they gave you a wrong staff during purchase. My dealer Alexander Marchanko and sales head mr Greg don’t accept you as a customer.Bad customer service.

    Avoid-
by WRXfan from Bethesda, MD | March 27, 2019

Used KBB to get a quote on selling my car, which came back as extremely low, so I was planning on ignoring. Got a call within a couple hours from a sales associate, asking me if I wanted to sell my car to him. He asked me some questions, and we ended up settling on a price, and a time/date I would come in to finish the process. I show up, exactly on time, to an empty dealership, and get told that he's busy, so I'd have to wait. After sitting on the couch for 20 minutes, he finally invites me to his desk. He then goes outside to do an appraisal, and that's when it all falls apart. He comes back in, claiming that my car has been painted, raced, and has performance parts, that I know are not installed, which will affect the value, and he'll have to disclose to customers. Oh and apparently I submitted the wrong car, which is why his offer was higher, and i'll have to take 3k less than his original offer. We then sit at his desk for an hour, looking at prices of cars not even remotely similar to mine and arguing, while he tells me how much less he can give me. We finally agree on a price, and with some more condescending comments, we finally finish the process. Lo and behold, I check their website, and look what is for sale for exactly what I told him they'd be selling the car for? Oh and after chatting with the salesman selling it, apparently it's never been painted, and is bone stock. I had hoped that by 2019, we'd moved away from the old stereotype about car sales, but apparently some dealerships still employee the classics. Avoid at all costs, plenty of better dealerships in the Metro area to reward with your money.

Disappointing service to a long term client
by Cesar Bouillon from Chevy Chase | December 29, 2018

Just had a very bad experience at this dealership. Over the years, I have bought 2 mercedes and leased one from this dealership. I have owned a Mercedes Benz since my early thirties. My wife and I went yesterday to buy an certified preowned GLC (she currently leases one but doesn’t like the color); we had an email exchange with one of the salesman about it, he told us that the car was not in the dealership because it was being inspected, we agreed with him to come the next day to test drive it, he will let us know the exact time. He sent me a text today to let me know that the car was ready for us to see, we went at 2:30 to see the car, and he showed it us and gave us the key, went back inside to get the plates for the test drive while we sat in the car. Suddenly, he comes back and says “give me the keys, this is sold.” So we wasted two trips to the dealership. I guess they want us to buy a BMW! A recent experience at a Nissan dealer with a friend was far better. Also some weird salesman freaked out my wife by winking strangely. Strange behavior for a business whose brand is “the best or nothing”!

    Not good!
by Dave G. from Las Vegas | November 01, 2018

Terrible service. I purchased a 2015 Mercedes E400 Convertible CPO car that was far from a CPO car. It was delivered to me in Las Vegas. Cigarette burn hole in front seat, two rotten and crack tires, needed front brakes. Very dissapointed. Mercedes should not allow them to sell CPO cars. Salesman was great but everyone else not good!

    Mercedes Benz Bethesda
by Prudhvi Raj from Rockville | March 05, 2018

I brought my new Mercedes from Euro Motorcars Bethesda. Edwin Escarraman is the best sales representative over there. Edwin gave me the best deal which no other dealership could have given. I'm very much pleased with his quality of service. You will not find a better sales representative at any Mercedes Benz dealer. I highly recommend him to anyone.

    Awesome Venture
by Dave from Pittsburgh, Pa | October 08, 2016

After a long Cars.Com search for that perfect E350 Coupe I finally found it at Euro Motorcars Bethesda. The buying experience was top notch. My sales professional was Shady Samy and let me tell you that I could not have had a more professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful team member. From the beginning to the end nothing but professionalism. Due to the fact that I lived 3.5 hours away from the dealership there were a lot of calls, text, pictures, etc. and Shady did not once hesitate to get back to me quickly. When I did get to the dealership, everything that Shady communicated to me was exactly as described. I would highly recommend that if you are planning to deal with EMC that you ask for Shady. Thank you Shady for the great experience and also thank you to Todd (BM) for also being a top notch professional and providing a comfortable personable visit.
