    Pretty bad experience
    by Bill F. from Atlanta | March 06, 2021

Bought a Telluride. Generally, the dealership is pretty smug about the car. The mentality is..'if you don't want it, there's a line of people who do'. I signed an agreement for a 2021 model. when the car came in they charged $600 more than the agreement. it's shocking when a dealer doesn't honor the agreement they provided and i signed. the doc fees are the highest I've ever seen. the manager was completely unhelpful and condescending with this complaint; when you've got a hot car, a dealership can have complete disdain for their customers. They sold a car, but lost a customer. ironically, i'm in the market for another car. - happily, I can take my business elsewhere. night and day experience from my last car purchase from Jim Ellis; I'd highly recommend Ellis

    Great Service
    by MauriceF from Grayson,Ga | November 03, 2020

Dalton is the best took great care of my vehicle. The facility was great, could work inside the dealership and get caught up on all my work and still had time to browse around for my next Kia purchase.

If you are black, Don't shop here!
    by Mrs.McKinney from Atlanta Georgia | August 13, 2020

I went in to purchase a 2021 Kia Soul 8/8/2020. First, the salesperson Maurice was really friendly and had great hospitality. The problem began when I found the car I wanted and was ready to make the purchase. He asked me for a paystub, which I provided and he secretly went to another office and called my work phone and when I answered he said " Sorry, wrong number" However, when he came back in to the office I was in to speak to me never said anything about the call and that it was him! After a long afternoon of trying get me approved at different banks the hour grew late and they all closed. Maurice told me that I would hear from him on Monday 08/10/2020. On Monday, I had to call Maurice several times before I got through to him. Once I did....He actually asked me to show him my bank records, he wants to see my deposits actually going into my account. I asked him why? because I already provided my paystub. He said they can't use the paystub because "The dealership called my work number and it was not a landline and I answered the call" He asked me was it my own business said Yes! but, we shall not forget when he called the work number on Saturday....He said"wrong number" why didn't he stay on the phone and find out who it was?? Not to mention, many business's are non-conventional it is 2020, who still uses a landline? At this point, I realized what the dealership was doing. As a black woman, I have been discriminated against many times so I know what it feels like. Because, I was providing my own source of income...They did not believe my paystubs. They wanted to look into my account and see how I make my deposits. Any business owner is at liberty to do their own payroll. But I suppose here at Ed Voyles, You have to be paid by a white/caucasian person/company for them to believe you actually earn money. Your black small business paystubs are not enough! This dealership actually told me if I want to get the car I have to put $9,000 down payment to prove to them I have income. The saddest part is that Maurice, a black man was the one delivering this blatant racism to me by way of this ridiculous company. I was made to feel like...There is no way I could have a business and actually make enough money to buy a car with it. It's so degrading and disgusting. However, The very next day I went to a VERY popular Mercedes dealership was treated with care, class and integrity. I bought a 2018, Benz GLA and honestly quite happy my business was refused through Kia... I would not have been happy long time with a Soul. Ed Voyles Kia has a limited selection of cars. Also, when I contacted the sales manager....I left a voicemail and he never even felt the need to call back. Seems to be horrible management. DO NOT BUY HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK!

    Routine Maintenance
by Disappointed Customer from Peachtree Corners, GA | June 17, 2019

I went in to the dealership to get a routine oil change and tire rotation per my "maintenance agreement" that was purchased at Ed Voyles Chamblee when I bought my Kia Sorenta. I waited two hours, even with an appointment, and they didn't even rotate the tires. This is the second time in a row they haven't rotated my tires when I took it in for routine maintenance. The time before this one, I had a nail in my back tire and they sent me home with the nail still in the tire and the rotation not done. This time we marked the tires just to see what would happen and imagine, they did not get rotated AGAIN. Now I am stuck with a "maintenance agreement" that I had to pay for through Ed Voyles and they can't even rotates tire. What maintenance are they really doing while my car is in for service?

I find it hard to believe they have five stars.
by James T from Lawrenceville, Ga | October 12, 2018

I bought a 2015 Soul From Ed Voyles In May of 2015. The engine locked up on 8/4/18, at only 68,000 miles, well within the warranty. I was told I would get a new engine. Eleven weeks later, and I still have no car. I’ve been disrespected and lied to by Jeff, Jeremy, and Abraham. And if you look at the reviews on social media, these same names pop up more than once. They’ve been disrespecting customers for years. So they have bad engines, and bad customer service. And I gave them $28,00 for this car. I’m disgusted with Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee.

New KIA Purchased Thanks to Curtis Thomas
by Vee Evans from GA | November 02, 2017

Ed Voyles KIA - 1st stop when looking to purchase a new car & was greeted warmly & with a smile by CURTIS THOMAS, who was very thorough in determining what I was looking for and telling us about the various models. Curtis was also very patient throughout the process; esp. since he was working with my daughter & me (dynamic duo), and was concerned about my wants/needs in a new car. I was able to test drive a KIA EX, but was not completely sold at that time, although quite impressed. We visited several other dealerships and preferring the same make of car that I owned for 14 years, I returned to purchase a KIA EX thanks to my interaction with Curtis. He was very professional, always calm, patient, not pushy, didn't bug me every day with phone calls as other salespeople did, and wanted to meet my wishes and needs in a car. IMO he is also a man of integrity. Curtis spent more time (over several days) with us than I could ever have imagined and even when it was late in the evening his demeanor remained the same. So if you're looking to purchase a car, new or used, I highly recommend Curtis Thomas. Kudos and thank you very much to Curtis Thomas and Larry Hayden, Finance Manager; two very good and helpful men, and assets to Ed Voyles KIA. They were available and answered follow-up questions after the purchase.
