    Poor customer service after sale

    Purchased a 2019 Ram 2500 beginning of December 2020 Got it home and realized the front bumper had a large dent in it that we DID NOT SEE THERE when we looked it over before buying. After reaching out to Chris (salesman) numerous times by email, and also a phone call or two. Sent many pictures (one taken on their lot before taking it home. Was told by Chris he wasn't sure if they would do anything about it and waiting to hear from used car manager who was on vacation. This whole process has lasted a month and they have dropped the ball! No communication, no call back, no explanation. Poor customer service. It is unfortunate that they don't seem to care after the sale is final.

    I would not recommend this dealer. I purchased a vehicle in February that had a couple minor repairs that were agreed to be fixed. It took until June before an appointment was set up. One repair was completed, but they did not have the correct parts for the other. They would schedule later. I have contacted the dealership weekly since October with not a single call back to schedule the appointment. At this point not sure, even though the repair is part of the deal, I want it done there, as not sure level of competence when not even able to use a phone.

    I thought I would up date on here bought 2019 new challenger from here. When you go in to finance don't trust any of them asked to go with my bank said couldn't get approval. Went with different bank. Found out I was approved from my bank I called my bank and that's what they said. And reviewing my loan documents and found a $500 charge should not of been on there. I tried multiple times to call finance depth. Would not take my call. Just looking for answers. Don't ever buy from these idiots! Just to many other dealers out there. BTW time to get another new dodge but not from these turkeys!

    My son went to Deery Waukee in response to an ad for a 2003 'as is' Dodge Ram. Salesman stated only work needed was $200 in brake work. He encouraged my son to take truck for a test drive. My son ended-up purchasing truck. He took it to reputable business to have brakes checked and truck looked over. My son was informed the truck was NOT SAFE TO DRIVE and should never have been put on lot to be sold. Entire frame was rusted out and had holes in it - had he put any weight in truck bed or driven over large bump - truck likely would have broken in half it was in that poor of shape. Cost to replace frame would've been more than value of truck. This is in addition to other issues found. No way Deery wasn't aware of these issues and condition of truck. Within 48 hours of returning truck - with them being fully aware that truck was unsafe to drive - they had it posted for sale again on their website! The business practices of this dealer are UNETHICAL, UNSAFE AND IRRESPONSIBLE!!

    Used car salesman is a jerk

    The used car salesman treated me like dirt. Protip if you want good customer service ask for the new car salesman. No idea how such a rude person ended up with a job that should be focused on customer service. All the employees acknowledged that the guy is a jerk to everyone yet the dealership does nothing about it. Crazy.

    Buyer Be Beware at Deery Jeep in Waukee:

    Bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee in late September 2019 and in the latest cold spell in January noticed a huge chip in the passenger doors paint. Went to a body shop to get an estimate, and was told they could not touch it as there was filler on the door. Went to Dealership and spoke to the General Sales Manager and showed him the chip… He said it was the 6 layers of paint and we hit something. General Sales Manager had New Car Director look at it and he was very arrogant and condescending as he asked my wife what she hit. After we repeatedly told them we hit nothing they had the body shop guy come over and he immediately confirmed it was filler. I asked why there was filler on my brand new car and it was never disclosed to me and I got no answer. I told them I wanted it fixed correctly, and they said they would fill it and paint it again. I asked what will prevent it from happening again, and they said nothing. GSM told me to bring the car in on Monday morning and they would fix it and have a loaner for me. Showed up on Monday morning and there was no loaner. Service Advisor walked up to GSM and asked about a car, and GSM said to drive me to work and I would get a loaner when they got one in. Didn’t get a loaner until 1pm. Left several voicemails with the Owner/Principal of dealership and never got a returned call. Called body shop guy on the 4th day of them having my Jeep, and he said he dropped the vehicle off with Deery on the 3rd day at 9am. Called Service advisor and he said I was just about to call you, as your Jeep was dropped off. This dealership needs to learn you don’t treat customers like this and you need to be honest and not just do a band aid fix, but actually fix the damage they caused the right way not the cheapest way. Trust is everything in buying a vehicle and this dealer has lost my trust, and I would never buy another vehicle from them.

    Be prepared. They will not do a regular oil change. Have to do synthetic at twice the price from here on out if agree. Walked out. Contacted Stew Hanson. They will do regular or synthetic. You decide.
