    Raised vehicle price after test driving

    This was the second vehicle I test drove from this dealer. After test driving I wanted to talk numbers for my trade in. However they would not talk about my vehicle value innkeeper I committed to purchasing one of the two vehicles I tested. In addition three dealership raised the price of this vehicle by $1000 literally that evening. However the sales person committed to me that they would still honor their original price that was still high. This vehicle was purchased on an auction by this dealer and not recieved as a trade in. I made what I believe is a fair offer for a vehicle listed as trade in value average $12000. Not only would they not entertain my offer they provided no counter offer. Further, they stated they paid/invested over $16000 for this vehicle. Even if they purchased the car on auction and paid trade in value there is NO WAY they invested $4000 worth of parts and labor into the vehicle. I informed the salesman that the brakes were spongy and need to be repaired however he stated they would not repair them prior to sale. Guess consumer safety isn't that important. This dealership chain is every bad joke and story you hear about use car sales. The staff was always nice as they tried to sell me on lies. Find somewhere else.

    Deal or No Deal?

    Went to Dean Team Hyundai to purchase a Tucson Ultimate. Jamal did a great job “selling” the car. Ready to purchase, Jamal did the paperwork for financing. After nearly 2 hours sitting at a little wooden table in the middle of the showroom, I still had not even met or seen the finance guy. Rather than coming out to meet me or bring me to an office to discuss financing options, Richard, would send Jamal back and forth with his messages never including the interest rate and instead bringing papers that had what seemed like very random numbers and monthly payments. Richard, who may not be a living person, reminded me of the banker on Deal or No Deal.. never saw him. There were never apples to apples to compare and when questioned they were adding additional years of the warranty but not disclosing that. I strongly believe they were trying to trick me so that they could make the most money. My dad passed 20 years ago, but I remember as a 20something going with him to Dean Team to purchase a car. A vivid memory is of us walking out and my dad saying that we would never buy a car there...ever. He’d be proud of me walking out of there today. I ended up next door purchasing a car the same day for about $8000 less! Nothing personalized about this experience and the showroom is dark and outdated.

    This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Salesman Andy Miller was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and gracious. I cannot say enough good things about him. I am very pleased with my new blue Sonata!

    It took longer to work through the paperwork than it did to purchase the car. I knew what I wanted and it took only to determine the price and pick out a car. Total time required, about 2 hours. How can you rate "Quality of Repairs" on the purchase of a new car. STUPID QUESTION and I can't complete review without saying something.

    This is the third vehicle I've purchased. I bought my first car for the price. I went back for my second car because of the good service I got on the first car. The sales staff was extremely helpful and patient in helping me reach a price a could afford on the vehicle I love.

    This is the second Elantra I have bought thru Dean Team Hyundai. Andy Miller was my salesperson both times. Pleased w/his knowledge & professionalism. Accident totaled my Elantra. I called Andy, told him what I wanted. Got there, he had it, I drove it, worked a deal w/him & Tom Fasetti, did finances & boom...all signed, sealed & delivered. I enjoyed working w/both Andy & Tom. Would (and have) recommended Dean Team Hyundai to others.
