    2017 Expedition
by Donette Mcneil from Little Rock, AR | August 28, 2020

Looking online, I found the Expedition I was interested in. I contacted them by text as I was working. They randomly stopped texting and two days later, I was contacted by a different salesman. The next day, I was again shuffled to the third and final salesman. At this point, feeling valued as a customer was completely off the table. However, the third salesman, Jose, had the vehicle ready for us to test drive and worked hard to answer our questions. I found the sales manager to be distracted and made me feel unimportant. Yes, I was purchasing a used vehicle, but I was making a purchase with very minimal effort on their part. I had concerns about the tires and especially the paint in one area of the car. Instead of trying to get some answers as to why this blemish was there, he hands me the car fax and says it wasn't wrecked. If there is a problem, it's your problem. He went on to tell me I was buying a used car and alluded how I would regret the purchase - without the gap insurance. When I declined, he pushed the car fax toward me, shook his head, and had me to sign and date. I'm not sure if this guy trying to sell me a car because he's really convincing me it's a bad purchase. If I wasn't convinced the finance guy couldn't explain the charges which appeared they added $3k to the final price. He also berated us for buying this old car without purchasing their extended warranty. I took my down payment check and contract outside the building to call someone to check out the contract. No one could explain it. The sales manager had left. I did purchase the car despite the sales manager and finance paper pusher based on our information. The T in the XLT emblem fell off on the way home. I had the paint checked; it was from an overzealous buffer. I've had it over two weeks now and I've not had a call from any of them, nor have I received any paperwork. Of the four sales people I interacted with, only one made me feel valued as a customer. He is the only reason for two stars. If this is how they treat customers, I sure won't be back.

Every fix creates a new problem. $2500.00 so far.
by John from Littlerock, AR | August 27, 2020

I went in to get brake pads on my rear wheels. Unfortunately I also had to replace the disks for around $500.00 total. My brake light had been on for a long time so I also asked them to check the braking system. They said that the brake system was working fine but I needed to replace the instrument cluster to fix the brake light. To diagnose a bad instrument cluster they said they “jiggled the connection”. I was not impressed with how they diagnosed the instrument cluster, so I chose not to spend $950.00 for a new instrument cluster since the truck was working fine. When I left the dealership I noticed my cruise control would not come on. I returned to the dealership and they said the cruise control wouldn’t work because the brake light was on an I needed to replace the instrument cluster. It worked fine before the brake job but since I need my cruise control I told them to order a new instrument cluster. I went back 3 days later to get the instrument cluster replaced and while I was waiting they informed me that my brake system was broken and I needed a new assembly, brake switch and plunger for $1100.00. the brakes worked when I drove it in and they had just been inspected it 3 days earlier by the same dealership. I would have preferred for them to fix the brakes before replacing the instrument cluster to see if that fixed the brake light problem. When I spoke with the service manager about this situation, he got huffy and said “he didn’t appreciate me accusing his service technicians of breaking my truck” I wasn’t accusing anyone, I was relaying what actually happened. He said there was no way for them to know about the brake assembly problem before they replaced the instrument cluster even though it didn’t throw up a maintenance code. He said you could depress the brake pedal with one finger and the truck was unsafe to drive. He couldn’t answer. Why this wasn’t found when I had the brake job other then saying it had to happen after that. He then offered me a $49.00 a day “loaner car” since it would take a few days for the parts. I declined the loaner car. When I was gathering my belongings from the truck I pushed the brake pedal and it made a clicking noise that was not there before. Maybe that was from part of the repair. There is also a $300.00 core charge for the instrument cluster so I probably got a refurbished one even though I asked for and assumed I was getting a new one. Who knows. They are keeping my truck for 5 days so far. I asked them to let me know when the brake assembly came in. I didn’t get a call when the part arrived, but I called again that day. The part was in, but they couldn’t fix it that day. I asked for their porter to give me a ride to the dealership the next day when the job was close to being completed. They said their 2 porters don’t work there anymore. The car I’m using belongs to an at risk person for Covid19. I won’t put him at risk by getting a ride with him. This dealership is not very helpful.

    carol
    by Carol from Little Rock,AR | August 15, 2020

Everything was fine except they over inflated my tires and we were going on out of town trip. Tires were 10 or more lbs over recommended pressure. Rode like a log wagon! Got to our destination and when ready to return, 2 days later (after sitting idle for those 2 day) pressure was still 10 lbs over. Had to bleed it down so wouldn't have the same ride! It is a wonder we didn't have a blow out on this trip.

Terrible Customer Service after the sell
by Karen Gattis from Little Rock, AR | August 05, 2020

Worst customer service experience I?ve had in a long time. The purchase was easy enough as that part goes but the rest is a disaster. They owed me rubber floor mats and a spray in bed liner. I purchased the truck 3 weeks ago and I still have not got the bed liner completed without defects. It took be two trips to pickup the mats, they never offered to just mail them or any alternative. I have my truck there for the 3rd time trying to get the bed liner fixed. I?m moving tomorrow and they still have my truck and no one can give me a straight answer. Do not buy from here if service after the sell is important.
