    Zero follow through
by Mike D from Peoria, AZ | September 24, 2020

Disappointed. This is a dealership I’ve gone to for five years to have service done on my Camaro and have always provided complimentary reviews. I decided to give the Sales department an opportunity for my business, but instead, I get a ‘sleight of hand’ number done to me. I asked why, that on the contract, only $10,500 was typed in as trade-in value, and not the agreed upon of $11,400? Answer was that discounts were applied from dealer fees and such, adding up to the $900 not shown. I also wanted to know why a partial refund for the two years paid towards registration on my Camaro, had not been noted? Answer was that he, Mike Ghannoni (finance), would see that a refund was mailed to me. I asked Alex Nogales to email, or mail me paperwork that details the discounts applied to cover the missing $900 for my trade-in. I’m still waiting for the above mentioned refund, as well as a written explanation as to what the fees and such were that supposedly saved me $900.

    Shady service department
by Danielle C. from Glendale, AZ | August 23, 2020

Unfortunately, I have had to do business with Courtesy because my car guy uses them for more difficult jobs. They put a new engine in my car and after being stranded last August on a 110 degree day with my 11 month old son at the time, they were made very aware that I have a child and I cannot be stranded with my son again. Fast forward, finally get the car back in December of last year and everything was fine until a month ago when my car started to run hot and it was taken back to my car guy, which was then taken back to Courtesy due to the engine being under warranty and needing to be taken care of through a Chevy dealer. Here we are a month later and my car is still not fixed and they are now “washing their hands clean” of the car. It’s amazing how for 3 days in a row the car was running hot and when it got to them they supposedly couldn’t get it to run hot, when they said they were driving it every day, so they returned it to my car guy who has been driving it to figure out why it’s not showing it’s running hot anymore, but yet the engine is extremely hot. My sons car seat is still in the car, so it is very apparent that a child is driven around in that vehicle and it is absolutely unacceptable that they think returning a car with as big of a problem as that is acceptable and that they do not have to fix/complete the job they did when putting the engine in. I would never recommend anyone use this dealership/service center, they do not care about your safety or the safety of anyone else that is in the vehicle with you. **Update** Drove my car last Monday night (haven’t been driving it due to the excessive heat..how convenient not being able to use my car ) anyway, drove it to drop my son off, to work, to pick him up and home...roughly 80 miles rountrip, also drove it to get dinner for us with my son in the car and low and behold it got so hot and almost stalled out on me at 8 at night, during a monsoon storm. Thanks courtesy, for your really crappy customer service and refusing to admit you guys put a faulty thermostat in my vehicle. You guys are the only ones that have done work on my car and your paperwork shows you replaced the thermostat and every machine that has been used to figure out why my car has been overheating has shown it’s the thermostat and only the thermostat. This is now the second commenting regarding this problem.

    Unhelpful

Just spoke with Tim in chevys online department and I will not be doing business with this dealer. When I inquired about an elantra I had seen online and made a reasonable offer for the vehicle I was informed that they would not budge on the price and that it was firm plus tax, title and license. He would not even negotiate the price on a used vehicle. I would have spent more than what I offered and can, had he been willing to negotiate but with that type of mentality I will be taking my business elsewhere. This would have been a cash sale for them but not anymore.

A Poor Buying Experience - Used Vehicle
by Bryan Eichorst from Golden, CO | June 11, 2020

I purchased a truck from Courtesy Chevy in the beginning of January 2020. The truck was slightly used but in good shape and the price seemed good. Being out of state I talked with Jeremiah, a salesman, about the truck over the phone prior to coming down. He assured me the truck was perfect. I put a deposit on the truck and planned to pick it up over the weekend. The truck was in good shape with the exception of a little damage to the bumper and a chip in the windshield. I accepted this and went forward with the purchase. I was assured the vehicle had remote start and a spare key. I did not receive the spare key at the time of purchase but was told it would be shipped to me. I also did not receive the key code for the door keypad. I went into finance and the finance manager did try to upsell you on extra charges and extended warranties, which is normal. During the review with the finance manager I ensured that the title would go to my home DMV, and the appropriate taxes would be paid for my residence. It has now been 3 months, my temp plates are expired and I have been unable to register my vehicle with my home state of Colorado, because they did not send any paperwork or information on the sale to the co dept of mv. I have been given the run around repeatedly by the dealership (Ivan a sales manager) saying I need to take the paperwork in, but the dmv and the state website tells me the dealer should do this for any financed purchase. I have been unable to get a copy of the title from the DMV, the bank or the dealership, so I have no idea how I am going to register the vehicle and I am sure they did not pay the proper taxes as discussed. On top of that I was led on this entire time that my spare key was in the mail, until now when I was told there isnt one. Do not go to this dealership if you can avoid it. Once you have signed and are out the door they have no intention of helping you or continuing customer satisfaction. I will not return and would not recommend this place to anyone. They will be hearing more from me if they did not pay the proper taxes during the purchase of the vehicle. A dealership this large and that has been around this long should not be this incompetent. Update: Finally able to register my truck and Courtesy undercharged me on taxes, so I owed over $500 extra dollars when I registered. Hard to believe this place is still around if this is how they do business.
